Hi,
This is regarding a recent experience i've had on a casino called potsofluck, owned by Nektan. I decided to hop onto here to play the new bigger bass bonanza, as they have the 96.71% RTP version. I started off by depositing £250, as I was playing with £5.40 spins. Within the first 10 minutes, I managed to build my balance to £1540, but at the same time I was booted off the game and asked for 'Extra income checks', despite only depositing such a small amount. Never had to send in source of wealth for an amount as small as £250, which made me check out trustpilot... to realise everyone is complaining about the same source of wealth problem. I withdrew the winnings after seeing these complaints.

I decided to try contact nektan on their support phone number 0161 669 9000, to be told they're not available and to use their live chat... to find that doesn't work either! So I sent a long email in the 'leave a message' box... 5 minutes later receiving an email that there's an email system error. I just composed the email and sent it to customersupport email instead, but why are they making it so cryptic to contact their support? I remember these were top notch 2 years ago when I was doing bingoport offers, and now the support is nowhere to be seen.

Hopefully I receive a response and get these withdrawals processed, but I am concerned.

I believe they got a whopping fine and subsequently surrendered or otherwise lost their UK license? Perhaps that's why the addresses are wrong, maybe they have a new holding group? I don't promote or play at Nektan, think they are total shysters even before recent events.....

Ar you in RoI or NI? If not in the UK, maybe that's something to do with it? Top notch are certainly words I've never heard used before in relation to Nektan.

Basically yet another Israeli-run scam IIRC.

Yep, they surrendered it, I think they would've been absolutely murdered by the UKGC had their other practices coem to light, so jumped beofre thye were pushed:

That leads me to ask why people in the UK can still play there, why their name still exists on casino sites and who runs their properties right this minute?

Perhaps others are a bit more clued up about this shitshower than I am...

Thanks for your response. I used to play on Nektan sites when I played with small deposits (£10-20), as their match bonuses were good... despite having the ridiculous 4x conversion to real funds. I only play raw now, but i'm concerned I wont even get my funds at this rate! I am from the UK yes, but I didn't use a VPN I just logged into my account from 2 years ago and deposited.

How do you think I should go about escalating this?

Thanks again

I'm not too sure to tell you the truth - I know you can use the PAB service but first I would ask @maxd what set-up exists for Nektan, whether they are still responsive or are past misdeeds now all brushed under the carpet by the new operators of the their casinos along the lines of "We cannot answer for matters occurring before our involvement on xxx a date..."

Much appreciated for the advice. I'll send a formal message to their customer support email first and see if they respond. According to the UKGC, they still have to pay out winnings. They're in the wrong for accepting deposits from me, and it was a new debit card as well.

Grace Media I believe got their UK online business for a mere £200k and again I'll ask @maxd to advise if this group are known to him or are responsive.

So if your deposit went to Grace Media then it's OK and their name should have appeared on the bottom of the site if your deposit was licensed.

I was just about to say yes, their new support email is customersupport@thegracemedia.com. Their phone number doesn't work, neither does their live chat. They were back and forth with responding to me earlier this afternoon when I was amending the new home address, but since then I've not heard anything.

Thanks

Their list of casinos is here:

107 bloody white labels!

That's promising! Either way, I will say contacting them still isn't easy. They were responding within 5 minutes when I contacted to change my address, but as soon as I withdraw i've not heard anything since 16:30. I'll wait and see what they come back with. Again, really appreciate you looking into this.

They usually process around 48 working hours after initiation. They did when I tested them. (Grace Media sites)

I don’t know why anyone in the UK would not play at the main UK sites . my attitude has changed a lot this year .

The only reason I came onto here was due to the good RTP's for pragmatic, mainly for bigger bass bonanza. To then realise Betfred and everyone else added it with the same RTP...

If I recall correctly -- IF -- it's been a fair while since we approached one of their casinos and they were a bit of work to deal with (Nektan properties have never been very cooperative) but came through in the end.

I can confirm that I received the funds this morning from grace media, seem to be legitimate. Whether they sped up the withdrawal because of the formal message I sent them... not sure. Thank you @dunover @maxd
That's not terrible by any means, taking into account the weekend they processed you within 48 hours, the same as Nektan did for me when I tested them a few years ago.
