Is RTG Attempting To Be Accountable Or Is This Just Another Lie?

In my ongoing research into RTG and the crooked casinos that use their software, I came across

This site is advertised on RTG's homepage and states:

CDS will act as mediator between players and Hasting's licensees - click on the logo above to be re-directed to the CDS resolution website.

And on the CDS page:

Welcome to the Central Disputes System.

When submitting a claim, please take the time to be thorough when entering your information. Once we receive your request for an investigation, we will contact the operations involved and likely enlist the help of RealTime Gaming in researching your claims. For this reason we ask that you be patient and refrain from any further activity on the accounts listed until the dispute is resolved. Any further activity on your part could delay the results of our investigation. Typically this process takes about three weeks but can take twice that depending on the volume of play or the number of operations involved.

Before submitting your claim we ask that you review the Terms and Conditions of the operations involved to be sure you understand the rules in effect while you were playing. To file a dispute,

This seems to be a (new) legitimate complaint process for depositing players who have been scammed by RTG clients however I have run the site trace a few times and I keep getting different end results:

So four identical traces yield four different results, yet they seem to be showing that this 'complaint process' is actually being operated by ClubUSACasino and BetMaxCasino.

This has set off a thousand red flags in my mind and now I trust RTG even less than I did an hour ago.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge of 'behind the scenes' operations could shed some light on this.

Central Disputes is the licensing agency that deals specifically with RTG casinos - that's why you are getting similar IPs. Central Disputes is a third party that oversees RTG contracts. If an RTG casino breaches a contract, then the agency has the power to yank the license.

Really? Then why are The Virtual Casino Group, Acerevenue Casinos, etc. still allowed to operate if this IS a legitimate third-party process and they have that kind of power?

...and the trace was made using the exact same IP address (200.122.168.237) each time, but gave four different results.

CDS is just the latest in a series of 'dispute channels' that RTG has offered - it succeeded, I think the name was Hastings or something like that.

In my personal experience you'll be lucky just to get through (it depends on which operator site you try and click through from) and if you do I have yet to receive a response.

RTG don't have the best record in the industry for handling player disputes.

But perhaps other members here have enjoyed a better response? I'd really like to hear about their experience if they have.

I believe you are meaning how to click through to file the complaint?

If so, I have provided the links in my OP, so everyone can get through easily.

I have always gotten responses from them but was never successful. I complained against casinos such as Prism and Cool Cat but they always sided with the casinos.

As chuchu59 has found out, CDS will only work for the associated casinos, not, as they claim

CDS will act as mediator between players and Hasting's (read RTG) licensees

so the rogues still remain untouchable.

Out of curiosity, what was the nature of the complaints?

Was it a general complaint about their rogue behavior or was it something specific that happened to you?

First - I have to say something.

Not every RTG is a bad casino.

I like - and prefer - the RTG platform.

Licensing for RTG - well - certainly - they could yank their licensing if enough complaints came in.

But the bottom line is: A rouge outfit is still a rogue outfit.

You can buy a car from Mercedes and be a mobster - or you could be a princess - the CAR is still a Mercedes.

Yanno?

Roanan - I don't know why you are so angry - but you're in a casino industry - in this industry there are good ones and bad ones.

And unless you're trying to shut down the WHOLE entire industry - there will ALWAYS be good ones and bad ones. Them's the breaks.

Suggestion: Patronize ONLY the good ones - talk out about the bad ones and inform those who are new that the bad ones exist.

Both complaints were payment issues. In 2002, after nearly a dozen deposits lost, I won a small sum at Prism off a free chip but they never paid. I had no avenue for complaint then but took it up with CDS(or it's predecessor) in 2007 to test them actually. It was only for $20 or $30 but speaks volumes on the mediation service as I won fair and square.

The Cool Cat issue is similar except that I only deposited once and lost. Was given appreciation chips (as relayed to me by email) and won on one of these. After submitting a withdrawal claim I was unable to log in anymore. CDS again ruled in their favour citing that I broke the rules as I cannot claim successive free chips and hence the money won was voided. The fact is they emailed the free chip code to me personally in the hope that I will deposit.

I think I am totally right in the Prism case although the Cool Cat case is arguable. What does bug me is that CDS will not ask you for any clarification after you have submitted your complaint and that they will only communicate with the casino until a decision is reached. For a mediation service, that does not sit in well with me as I cannot argue against what the casino says. So much for hearing both sides of the story.

One other thing against CDS is that they take quite a long time to reach a decision and you have to log in the site yourself to find out if there are any updates on your complaint. If not for their poor service, I might have tried to use them for my issue against Inetbet on the Paigow Poker issue but it is bound to be a fruitless attempt.

I love RTG games myself, as they were my first experience playing online. I just had a very rocky start.

And I'm not angry, I'm only mildly perturbed.
You want to see me angry? Bring popcorn because it's a hell of a show. ;)

I have two pet peeves. One of them is people who are too lazy to work for a living. Whether they're crack-heads living on the street or organized criminals, their mere existence is a waste of natural resources and I will hunt them for sport, one at a time. :D

First I chased the cheater(s) out of Nedplay, and now it looks like this idiot is my next target, although The Virtual Group will always be at the top of my hit list. :sniper:

So I sent a message to CDS asking them why, if they have the power to yank the license from any RTG casino that is crooked, why they continue to allow The Virtual Casino Group to continue defrauding players and this is the response I got:

Dear Mr. Hxxxx,

First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your inquiry about us, our partners, our directors, our agents, our affiliates, and our roster of casino clients.

As I understand it you had some questions regarding one of our casino clients, namely the Virtual Casino Group. Please feel free to address those here and I will be certain to aleviate your concerns or simply answer your queries as best I can.

Once again we thank you for your time, attention, and inquiry.

Best professional regards,

Are they completely ignorant about TVCG policies of fraud, assault and death threats being standard operating procedure or are they just really incompetent?

This reply gives more away than you think, and only illustrates their contempt for players.

= We need a specific issue so that we can give you the correct "whitewash" response to cover our own ass, but not piss off our client Virtual group.

Best professional regards

Eh:confused:

Bit OTT isn't it?

Regards, or maybe even "best regards", but what's with "best PROFESSIONAL regards". It should go without saying that a "professional" manner is needed when dealing with disputes as a mediator.

The original question was left completely unanswered, there WAS a specific question raised, but they gave a canned non-response.

It has now been ONE MONTH since I contacted CDS to demand an explanation as to why they allow rogue casinos to continue to operate under the RTG banner and they have chosen to NOT reply.

Read this thread and draw your own conclusions, but mine is that they are biased shills who are NOT trustworthy, or independent.

My Experience with CDS

As an affiliate/player who has been in the industry for a while now, I have had to use the CDS for Bet Max Casino and the previous complaints system for Connect2Casino.

Betmax went through a down time or ownership change I believe some time ago and they basically didn't respond to any emails of mine and refused to pay my last winnings. Every single email I sent was ignored.

Once the CDS came online, I filed a complaint about Bet Max Casino. My claim was first denied until I had to present my case to them. They finally did get Bet Max to pay me my winnings which were around $250+.

My complaint with Connect2Casino was also taken care of by the previous RTG complaint system in place. This was for much more around $900+.

I can say that my experiences with the complaint system have been successful. I also will agree that there are some really great RTG casinos out there and some that are not. As long as you do your homework with any online casino you play at, you usually will be fine.

The key is always be an informed player. Read the terms and conditions carefully, print them out for your records, follow the terms exactly, be careful not to break any of the rules or your winnings could be voided. Most importantly, pick the best casinos, don't risk your money at the junk operations out there.

Im just about to decide to use the PAB for an RTG casino but it says that I have to use this Central Dispute. After reading here, I dont get the idea that they are that reliable. Can I skip this and use the PAB directly?
