Irresponsible streamers & affiliates?

Are Slot Streamers a Threat to the Online Gaming industry in the UK? You decide - read the article at Casino Gazette!
He wins $3600 on the last game on the vid and is disapointed, that says it all really.

I just hate streamers now. They are just a bunch of money hungry liars. Gone are the days when I used to stream in the correct way doing stakes from £0.20-£3 Stakes only increased the last few weeks before I stopped streaming due to getting a really nasty troll.

But yeah another pet hate of mine is those FAKE thumbnail images they create for videos (CLICKBAIT PHOTOSHOPED GARBAGE). I mean they then monetize those videos of the wins they get during a stream to get extra views, it is all just about money money money and milking every damn avenue they can. Some streamers just 100% do play with funded accounts. This has been proven time and time and time again. Some prove they use deposited money and match bonuses yes, correct.

But like seriously so many or most of the streamers are also playing at the worst casinos too mostly rogue ones. Which again just shows you that they are just not trustworthy streamers. So many things wrong with all streamers. There is the odd one who does stream and do min stakes still, but they are a very tiny amount of people and they get hardly any viewers. Because they all get ignored and not seen because people go in see the stakes and just leave. Because they now prefer to watch irresponsible stakes.

Casinos and Slot providers are as Boris would say, "spaffing money up their walls............" all in the aim for getting more players hooked into doing bigger stakes all at the same time trying to tell us use the responsible gamble tools if you can not control your gambling......... It angers me soo much, I just no longer even use twitch anymore.

EDIT: I mean I did not want to name any streamer, but for example I actually enjoyed jamjarboy last year. But then I realised he also now become one of those streamers who is now just doing crazy stakes all the time. When he first started streaming he started on min stakes and upto 1 eurp spins as he is in Germany.

Germany then changed their laws and brought in some new ones which limited the max bets on slots to €2 per spin and they also introduced monthly deposit limits for every German gambler. So in other words he was screwed. So I noticed he has now moved from his bedroom he used to stream in (in Germany) to I think another country, as he now streams in a lounge of some kind...... Who knows if he has moved or not? But I guess he has moved to Malta like the majority of streamers do once their own country bring in new rules or ban certain things relating to slots, like bonus buys etc etc.

Correct me if I am wrong or not about him moving. But he did tell me while he streamed when I asked him questions if he will move when they bring the new laws in for gambling and he said no he will not! Multiple times too on various streams. Others asked him and he said No every time. He also was studying law...... So obviously he has probably scrapped that now and just decided that he can earn more from streaming...... So he then probably decided to just move to malta. As I said he might not of moved as I have not watched him since last year. Apart from I saw a video on YouTube of a win he had and that is how I saw he now streams from a lounge room and not his bedroom. So again correct me if I am wrong, maybe someone knows if he has moved or not can say and correct me?

But still it just shows that if streamers move to Malta it usually is a sign they are in cahoots with the casinos, because we all know a majority of casinos have offices located their.

I rarely watch any of them anymore, not live anyway, I like Dazza's Bonanza vids for the ranting and comedy value and I used to enjoy Hyperlinks vids as he seemed like an honest guy, as for the rest of them, they can all take a long walk off a short pier as far as I'm concernerd, especially that clown from Newark, Notts and his dopey sidekick who seems to spend most of the time begging for 'likes' ...To Hell with them!

He still lives in Germany but he's only playing at 1 casino that didn't adapt (yet?) to the new German laws. From what I understand they aren't enforced yet until the second part of the year.

But I agree the way he went from sensible stakes only a year ago to €10-40 now is very fishy. His streams used to be enjoyable, sensible and like a normal person would play: try to get a decent hit on a low stake and then if possible do some bigger spins. Now it's all out from the start on huge stakes and then complaining he can't get a "decent" hit for weeks

Thanks and yep. Hence why I hate all streamers now lol. I do not think I will ever watch any twitch stream gamblers ever again :p

Currently it is 1€ max bet and a 5 seconds delay between spins in germany. The new laws came into effect as of 15 oct 2020. As you say it correctly. Streamers in germany are screwed and i for one dont feel unhappy about it.

Oh I thought it was €2 euro max bet per spin...... I knew they also brought in a 5 second spin delay though!

I wonder what jamjarboy will do once the final casino adapts the new laws and rules then? Will he finally decide to move to Malta like every other streamer when they see loads of restrictions put upon them from their own countries?

Or will it mean they will then just look for even worse rogue casinos that do not care about the laws and rules and allow you to use VPN's. Which some rogue casinos actually do allow........

Crazy when you think about it. They might not allow it for all players but they might make exceptions if they are popular twitch streamers gambling in their rogue casino because hey it might bring them new players to scam the hell out of and never pay them their winnings and then just come up with excuses to delay delay delay for weeks and weeks........ As that is what rogue casinos do. But they will then probably in turn pay the streamers if they withdraw very very very fast because they are bringing them custom....... Or they might just be funded accounts......... So streamers never actually deposit anything into them...........

What gets me is these idiots that watch cant wait to get there points ,especially with the hat guy oh fof some free spins and 50x wager

Some of them will be problem gamblers with no actual cash to deposit...so will naturally hunt anything 'free' that they can potentially get their fix from. There will be a demographic watching these streams that have no job or are low income part time, hence can sit around watching someone play slots all day.

Stop saying 'Bro' FFS!

Something should be done about these robot streamers with there not actual deposits ie fills from the casino ,then all these young kids get turned into gambling ,twitchhax changed thepadt year when it comes to casino streamers this robot popped out of nowhere ,really cant stand it

Ok, but what will he do once Boom brings in the restrictions? Will he then move to Malta or quit streaming altogether?

This is why I hate all streamers now. If streamers did not care about the restrictions and just streamed with them without moving to Malta or other countries just to be able to continue playing the way they want to play. Maybe they would be worth watching, But only if they was not doing irresponsible stakes...... That the average Joe can never afford to do.

OK, here is the video of yesterday's SBC live forum discussion between Simon Hamman (Relax, ex-Netent) Tobias (Coffeegrounds CEO) and a couple of others from Leo Vegas etc.

After about 34 minutes they get around to discussing fake streamers, unrealistic stakes and there are indirect references to the 500,000 win etc.
I've met 3 of these guys, they are all straight and knowledgeable and have pedigree within the industry.

If you have 45 minutes available, listen to it in full, for an insight into how streaming has affected developers and slots as well as the industry overall.

Well I have been busy watching the F1 pre season testing the last 2 days and also tomorrow is final day of testing. If I have the time I will watch it :)

Relax Who made a slot with coffee ground?
relax knew fine well coffee grounds streamers would push it? Their isn’t really any difference to ROSH and pragmatic and the 500k win or am I missing something?
have not watched video yet!

@dunover - In my opinion, I did just watch it from 35 minute mark and to be fair. Of course they will be careful what they say and keep talking and pushing about Responsible Gambling etc etc. But as many know LeoVegas was known to actually provide these funded stream accounts to streamers. a few years ago before they then decided to just buy CG.

LeoVegas is a casino I no longer play at for reasons being they are just a bad casino now. They focus more and more on streamers and to bring new gamblers to their brands in the hope they make a lot of money. They then treat those players usually badly and now they delay withdraws too and no longer push withdraws when you ask live chat. Also Live Chat can now take 30mins-1 hour to get to speak to an agent too. Then on top of all the above they then try their hardest to push at every opportunity they can about responsible gambling. All that is is a front, they do not care less about responsible gambling. All they care about is growing and growing and rinsing every penny from every person that opens an account with their brands.

They then talk about Ethics....... Yeah right, they know the meeting was going to be publicly available on the internet so they was very very very careful in what they said and the wording they used........

At the end of the day streamers are all irresponsible now and that is not going to change anytime soon. Unless either Twitch and YouTube and all other streaming sites completely decide to ban gambling streams. Or countries crack down on streamers with laws and rules to regulate the streamers. If streamers fail to abide by those new stream rules then they will be fined etc etc. Like for example.

Rules could include:

1: Prove on stream you are depositing your own money. (Without revealing personal identifying information)
2: Sensible stakes from 0.10=2.00 only.
3: Do not play at rogue casinos.
4: Not allowed to play with bonus funds....... (This is a tough one, but majority of streamers get unlimited 100% match bonuses which every day people never ever get - Who knows if they can then withdraw it if they win with them though or if they have a max withdraw limit on them if they manage to meet the WR).
5: No Bonus buys!

All in all, those 5 rules alone should help enforce that streamers are not irresponsible. But saying that, they will always find loop holes.....

Perhaps I am reading it wrong, but CG wasn't even in existence when LeoVegas funded that one streamers account (CasinoRobot). This paragraph of yours reads that it was the Casinoground streamers being funded by LeoVegas before they bought it, which is untrue.

Yes it was CasinoRobot. But LetsGiveItASpin was also rumoured to have used similar as well. I mean it is my opinion. I am always open to be proven right or wrong. If what or how I said things was wrong then please feel free to correct me :)

Well if you make claims such a you make, it is down to you to prove it, not for me or others to disprove it.

With CasinoRobot, the prove was there, on stream, logging into his account with a LeoVegas email address.

We can all spread rumours, but I rather not entertain the village gossip.
