Irresponsible streamers & affiliates?

In my humble opinion the only two YouTube slot / gambling channels worth watching Are Dazza G and Hyperlinx.
Two polar opposite personalities, but both as entertaining as each other.
Not interested in any others, won't name names, but certain channels are let's just say. not representative at all of real life play.

And Dazza winning on Bonanza is like real life? :eek2:  :p

Are Slot Streamers a Threat to the Online Gaming industry in the UK? You decide - read the article at Casino Gazette!
i used to enjoy dazza g's bonanza videos until one day he was exposed and he was playing with demo money
oddly enough he removed all of his bonanza videos shortly afterwards
as for these streamers winning thousand's of x wins, it is all luck
i play almost daily and i usually get a thousand x win once or twice a year
these streamers play slots more than me so their odds of winnings a thousand x is better i guess?

edit: i only mentioned dazza g because of someone mentioning him on this post
i unsubbed from him since the exposure and i guess i wasted my time watching his videos

 The only alleged "proof" I've ever heard is because GO wasn't on the screen when he started his video  I guess everyone believes whatever they want but he has explained both the start screen and why he removed videos at that time and shown his bank account on multiple occasions.

People need to take responsibility for there own actions, all this blaming others is a joke.
Agreed. But seeing these big wins is bound to tempt people who don't understand just how unlikely they are. I'm sure most people start with limits in mind and never imagine they could become problem gamblers. Players must take responsibility, as should people trying to get others involved in gambling given how devastating the consequences can be.

Dunover's videos are worth it, for the commentary alone.

He's (sadly) calmed down quite a lot over the past couple of years, his earlier vids when he first started out were comedy gold!

Still laugh inside to this day over the side effects of co-codamol, Odin from TS II noncing around the school gates and his subtle reference to the chap with the cap in CTFBL slot.

Is the video still available @dunover

Surely it’s hit it’s peak now so many streamers playing max bet now that their sign ups/affiliation will decline and either turn on each other chasing £££££ or just be band outright by authority’s eventually

I was ACCUSED not 'exposed' because some imbeciles and trolls couldn't grasp the fact that when you reload the game at some casinos it returns with the default 'GOL' screen and others it resets to your last play. I even posted the bank transactions relating to those videos but hey, it isn't enough for the blind or stupid, so what's the point...

FTR I removed all videos (bar a few I needed at the time for web content on review sites) not just Bonanza ones. Since the threat to real gambling video YT channels seems to have subsided I now post Bonanza sessions again. If you like, get an independent member here who knows me personally or one of the Admin/Mods to check my debit card statements for any of the videos I have on my channel and ask them to confirm yeah or nay that my play is genuine. I don't splatter my videos with casino backgrounds, just the game, that's how I like it. :)

Hi all. I'm new to this forum and to online casinos in general. I won't bore anyone with tales of losses but I would like people's thoughts on streamers and affiliates for various casinos.

Of course I realise that their videos are designed to encourage people to play but I can't see how or why it's allowed. Some are more realistic than others but some seem to reel off back to back 1000x wins that normal punters simply won't see. If their wins are genuine, how on earth can they afford to play at high stakes for long enough to get these huge wins? Some streamers eg Nickslots have several 'once in a lifetime' bonuses at £5 or £10 stakes.

Are they playing with 100% casino money? Or are the slots tuned in their favour? What is certain is that people see the wins, then in some cases bankrupt themselves trying to get one of their own which never comes.

It's extremely irresponsible and damaging in my opinion and more streamers should stress the dangers and what happens in reality. Thanks for your time!

I don't reckon the slots are turned in their favour (although this wouldn't be difficult to do I suppose)... I do believe however that a lot of these streamers are just playing with Casino money and that they don't get to keep their entire balance... (I mean seriously, some of these streamers have £16k in their balance). The casino gets some visibility & brand awareness but is there a consensus that streaming a certain online casino actually results in customer turnover on the other end? I don't really see that happening, so therefore a deal must have been made between the casino & streamer whereby they provide some funds to play whatever they want and that they can keep a certain portion of the winnings only...

Maybe I'm just talking nonsense though! I do encourage others to chip in and let me know their thoughts as well

Affiliates pretty much advertise the same casinos unless their is a brand new casino for them most people are already signed up, if their is a new casino does that casino choose who it wants to work with first? Do they make a deal for the right price! Like BTG makes its release exclusive for a price,

See a certain streamer has started doing football tips now. I really don't like these, most are on rev share and therefore it's in their interests for you to lose. I watched footyaccums closely for about 6 months a couple of years back and it's very clear what they were doing, yes they would put the odd winner up, but the vast majority lost, and a large amount were ridiculous bets that would never win, or extremely unlikely to. The practice was widely criticised in the press a couple of years back, and it died off a little and the main players moved to CPA to stop the suggestion that they wanted people to lose. Funnily enough, at the same time, the amount of tips slowed down and the success rate got higher.

What does CPA actually mean what other kinds of affiliation is their?

CPA - Cost per Acquisition - a one off fixed fee for each depositing new player
Revenue Share - a % of the players losses (minus casino fees)
Hybrid - a combination of both of the above

How profitable is it in real terms or is their older threads I can get a heads up on and not ask to many questions :)

Very much hit and miss. In the "olden" days it was a little easier. These days it is very hard work in a very busy competitive market.
