I don't think it is an attack. I remember playing last year, the coupon code I chose worked, and you can access the page through the website or in the casino.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.

If you have reservations, just visit the page from inside the casino or visit the website.

Thanks Jas the website was reported as an attack site. Well everyone enjoy your coupons..:)

yeah firefox wouldn't even open the page, saying google crawled it yesterday and found that it tries to install software without the visitor's consent. I have heard good things about INB but with the slew of viruses my computer acquired from casino sites and software lately, hmm.

Inetbet, could you give us some answers here:

Well, I though perhaps Inetbed would like to respond here, so I tried to pm them.

iNetBet Promos has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

Time for them to clear some space in their folders.

So I'll post what was to be my pm here:

Thought you might like to reply to this thread. Maybe confirm if there is some bogus email mimicking your Thanksgiving offer, or a particular anti-virus giving false positives as a response to the updates or such?

I received no so warnings myself (I use F-Secure for Vista, a paid version for Vista), but I'm sure the users who did receive messages would help you if necessary.

I appreciated the free chip, even if I wasn't lucky.

Sincerely,
Jazzy

Hi Everyone,

I am not sure why there would be any virus warnings.

There is nothing on that page that installs any software at all.
You simply click on a turkey and a pop-up appears showing what you have won.

As Jasminebed says this may be a false positive. I will have the tech team look into this.

I do know that sometimes Firefox sometimes gives some odd displays of the site due to the way it was programmed. We are looking to have these updated to make it compatible.

If anyone does get any warnings etc please do send these over to support@inetbet.com as we would like to know about this.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone

Best Regards

jas2587,
As I say please send anything over to support@inetbet.com
In this case it looks like your system isn't recognising the Cashier application certificate.
I don't believe this is related in any way to the website issues as they are not hosted on the same servers etc.
However please send it over to the above support email and we can have the tech team look at it.
Any such queries any players have should always be sent into support.
Best Regards

Hi,
The central processor for the cashier was recently updated. This may have caused this problem as it is being drawn in from a different location.
Please send over any errors such as this to support@inetbet.com and we can forward to the relevant dept.
Best Regards

There are now reports the site is down altogether, and another from a player who said he was diverted to/from some Russian site whilst trying to use the InetBet site.

EDIT:-

I have just checked the site, and most things seem fine (no viruses, Russian diverts etc); however, the download is "broken link", and does not work.

I saw some references to russian domain .ru too. I still claimed the freebie though and actually won. :D My computer did not crash. FF would not let me open the page but IE did not care....
