I haven't heard of them but I do remember when English Harbour was a Microgaming casino... that was about 8 or 9 or 10 years ago.

RTG-powered Five Roses Casino belonged to IPI Media back then, with an arrogant s.o.b. called Paul Jurgen in charge. There were five or six online casinos in the group, if I recall correctly.

What was interesting was that in 2003 this apparently successful group suddenly underwent a massive rebranding exercise. All the casinos were renamed, effectively throwing away what site investment and reputation they may have had up to that point.

In the case of Five Roses, the rebranding changed it to American Grand Casino.

The following year the whole lot showed up in Warren Cloud's Doloplex group.

You can find the detail in the archives of Casinomeister News.

Old Samurai belonged to the same group that owns Vegas Joker, Vegas7, Colosseum, etc (Mini Vegas). They were one of the last Micros that still used the old Thumper software. Have they now been taken offline?

Don't remember Samurai, but I did sign up to 5-Roses in March 2002.
This is all my notes say:-
"$100 for $125 bonus:- F##king total crap from start to finish (all gone in 10 mins)".
In those days I was probably playing Stud, BJ & PaiGow @ $5/hand as this was before I discovered the joy of slots!

Here's some others I joined over the years - not sure if some are still around or not...?
(The $ is my total profit/loss there; $0 = played but broke even)

Cowboy Casino -$75 (Boss Media - Dead - 6-month wonder!)
Rio Bay +$90 (MG - Dead - Was part of Ladbrokes)
    Aces High -$50 (MG - ?)
Hard Rock +$266 (WagerWorks - then PlayTech - then became Grosvenor)
Sports Caf -$142 (BM - Dead - same story as Cowboy)
    1 Click & Play +$149 (Some flash thing - ?)
NetGaming.com -$100 (? worst rigged software I've EVER seen - hopefully rotting in hell)
    Peach -$35 (Crypto - ?)
    1 on 1 -$100 (Crypto - ?)
CyberSpades -$86 (Crypto - Dead - Just suddenly vanished!)
    Roman Casino +$241 (Romansoft - ?)
    e-World $0 (RTG - ?)
    Gold Nugget $0 (Software ? - ?)
    Grand -$63 (Software ? (same as above I think) - ?)
    Place my bet $0 (Software ? - ?)
    Mardi Gras -$25 (RTG? - ?)
    OnLuck $0 (MG? - ?)
    Illustrated -$20 (MG - Dead)
    Home $0 (MG - Dead)
    Showdown +$200 (MG - Dead)

Anybody else remember any of these?
    Or some others?

    Those were the days! ;)

How about Casino Vega? Did anyone here ever play there? I remember it was there that I first discovered baccarat... and while playing it I thought I had "invented" what I later learned was called the Martingale system. The good old days of teenage naivete.

Wow, so it is. I see they've switched to Parlay...they were all java games back in the day. I don't think I'd play there these days.

Yes, I received an email promotion from Casino Vega a few hours ago.

Old Samurai was open a few months ago, but it appears to be closed now.

I believe the listed Belle Rock casinos (Showdown, Home, & Aces High) are open as well for existing players, but they are closed to new players and do not have an easy way to download the casinos. Downloads can be done by hunting around on the Belle Rock website, if you are really motivated.

Peach appears to be open as well.

I wasn't around a few years ago, but some of the better known that closed/merged during the period I was around are:

    Starluck
    Planetluck
    49er
    Harrods
    Totalbet
    UK Betting

Of course Omni & Sands (now called CS Casino) are still very much alive!
