I'm currently listening to...

Was very depressed when I posted that last song.

Then I got a PM reminding me of the importance of life and how you need to keep going.

Money can not buy happiness. It never matters how much you win. All it does is buy time before you're back at square one.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I am quitting this gambling shit and going to focus on the positive aspects of life.

Thanks to @goatwack

Somehow his words of wisdom made this song flow though my veins right now.

Kinda random, yet it popped into my head...

See ya''ll!!!

Ever since he introduced me to it, this reminds me of a long term never met 'online best friend' from holland who i played unreal tournament '99 with for endless hours and chatted absolute boh larks with until 5am for some 10+ years before he vanished some 5 years ago and never replied to emails or came online via messennger ever agsin since, leaving me to only assume that he has passed away.
So on occasion I'll still listen to it and think of those good immature drunken nights :..(

Sorry to hear that, the same has happened to me so I understand that feeling.

Of course there is that voice saying I hope they didn't die. I like to think maybe their path in life just drastically changed and one day we will re-establish contact. If not, at least we can hold onto those memories of the good olé days.

The fact you still hold onto those memories 5 years later says a lot about your friend. :)

Quite a catchy tune.

Genuinely wishing you luck, that the wind may blow you through nothing but prosperous times on your courageous [possibly high] variance inducing adventure. just remember, whatever happens, unlike swapping bonanza for who wants to be a millionaire, there legitimately is always [actual] hope.

this ones for you man.

Almost forgot...

After quitting gambling I feel this is the only thread I connect with, even if I'm the only one posting recently.

The dilemma after quitting is how to spend your disposable income which used to feed the casino.

I bought a telescope on Amazon (£299).

I used google night satellite images to find a spot around 30 miles away. As far away as possible from light pollution when you live in a capital like me.

What a feeling that was to look up into the sky and see the rings around Saturn.

It really does make you realise just how little and insignificant you are in the grand scheme of things.

I guess it's what we alcoholics call "An epiphany".

This was the song I playing on my laptop at the time..

That night felt more Special to me than any win I've ever had and only reinforced the feeling of how great life will be from now on.

I sometimes feel I've heard all music, but you guys help me understand I only know 0.03% of it. :D

Happy again.

Bookmark this one for your Old Years Night party.

I've been storing up a boney classic in my bookmarks, this time seems as good as any  ;):

I think today's youngsters must be jealous of the kind of superior quality tv we had in the 70's, you don't need to read history books to find out about old ras just listen to this educational song :D

Anyone else excited for the new Fallout?

I just started playing fallout shelter to kill time until the next game comes out....

Funny how no slot producer has ever succeeded in creating that excitement for a new game..

Slots are like "oh ffs, what kinda bs have they come up with now for me to lose money.

With video games you pay up front and get 100X more entertainment!

Here's the ear worm I've had the last week....

No retreat, no surrender
That is Spartan law
And by Spartan law we will stand and fight... and die
An age of freedom
And all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breath to defend it!
