I'm currently listening to...

1995's One Hot Minute era was always my favourite of theirs, as highlighted by this sunny little number

of course!! im totaly with you...
after RHCP's Californication Album Release i was shocked in first touch, because this instrumental change "downpitch" was not mine

but nowadays i like it more and more... Otherside are now one of my fav's of them :D

but my alltime favourite album was Blood Sugar Sex Magik...

One Hot Minute is the only album with Dave Navarro on it, so it changed their style a lot. Then in '99 John Frusciante came back for Californication (which is great of course)

So my favourite era is One Hot Minute's, but favourite album can only be Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It would be a crime to say otherwise! :p

Here is of course....

of course... and the new style was also profitable for Flea!! because in history the spot was always on gitarrists & singers and the most band bassists are just handled as a guy that works behind the scenes. Flea is one of the best band bassists ever and has changed the public view from a underrated bassist into a frontleader...

Not sure why, but it kind of reminded me of this song.
When i listen to them side by side they dont sound very similar, but for some reason this song popped into my head when i heard "Everything for free"

That's a great song by a great band. Dolores O'Riordan had a great voice, may she rest in peace.

My brother sent me a link to one of those "literal version" remakes that are on youtube, so im currently working my way thru them.
You need to watch the video while listening for it to make sense.
Superdumb, but pretty well made, and my kind of humour. =)

I have to post more Ghost, saw the live in 2014 but they didn't strike me as anything special. Saw them play again this summer and this time I was sold. Den bästa av Sverige IMO.

I think my go-to swedish band is Movits. Really like how upbeat alot of their songs are.
They sing in swedish, but even if one does not understand the lyrics, one can enjoy the music. =)

Among finnish song, i probably have to pick this one. Mostly for nostalgia reasons.
This was my jam around the time the song came out.

And lets not forget this one, timeless classic.
Warning: mild nudity.

There are so many great Swedish bands, of those singing in Swedish, my all time favourite is Kent. I remember when Isola came out, loved it (still do).

When looking at the size/population of sweden its pretty crazy how many bands/djs etc have made it onto the world stage.
Must be all the surströmming we eat.
