Ok I won't name the casino yet but it goes like this.

I use crypto.com

I baught 65$ aud of btc

Then withdraw to casino wallet btc equivalent to $60 aud

My account was credit with btc to the equivalent of $23 usd or $32 aud

All this happened in 2 transactions in 20 mins

Is this normal

Not actually tried the process myself with BTC, but transaction charges for BTC and ETH are not cheap. Also, the BTC blockchain was congested yesterday, with something like 460,000 transactions waiting. You could pay to express a transaction, I believe, which I think cost around the amount you are missing, someone said in some news I saw.

I don't dabble in ETH or BTC because I cannot afford the transaction costs. I went to buy a Meme coin the other day, £40 worth, and they wanted £80 ETH charge. The gas fees fluctuate.

Other Layer 1 coins and Layer 2s come with much cheaper fees, like 0.01. Many of them can be used at casinos.

I know there are some crypto players here at CM. Perhaps someone else could advise, or one of the reps. Is there a rep on here for the casino in question? They may be able to advise a better process.

I do t play crypto bit was advised to by said casino who I've spent 40 k with in last 5 months and it's a joke like you said omg unbelievable fees. I got a copy if the block chain for the transaction as you say delays which allowed me time and wow DODGY WIERD FIGURES GOING ON IN THAT WORLD

Omg yes, BTC fees especially at Coinjar has gone up extremely high. I have tried to transfer $50 to casino via BTC transfer and it wouldn't allow me as it said insufficient funds so I tried $40, $30 $20 not even $10 would go through. Does that mean fees are like 100% up.

At Coinjar you can minimize fees by waiting 15 minutes delay or use Coinjar points for free transaction but the only problem is it will not allow you to use it until you go to the next step and it states insufficient funds.

It should work the other way around, minimize fee and then transfer. It has been a nightmare for the whole week. I might try Litecoin like slot zombie suggested.

Edit- rush typing, spelling error lol

Not Casinos fault its the exchange fees from our Crypto wallets, so the fees must be high everywhere. I just used Neosurf for now. :)

I only use neo to, but was suggested to do crypto nah neo is 1 for 1 no wagering etc easy withdrawals I agree

Fees are about $20-$30 per transaction right now due to pepe coin and some other stuff. There are about 400000 pending transactions from people that sent with small fees.

Most wallets should allow you to select the amount of “sats” per transactions.

If you are sending under $100 it is pointless to use BTC right now. Anything under $30 is almost like paying double:

Use BCH or litecoin! Avoid the fees and delaye. I paid $25 to send $100 and waited 36 hours.

I upped my fees and it went faster. This is a huge problem and could cause bitcoin to drop in value. Miners are making million right now in fees.

I'm no expert but heard the BTC congestion was due to BTC Ordinals programming (the BTC NFTs). Pepe is on ETH. Some respected programmer said if one of his employees had used the method the Ordinals programmers used they would be sacked. Something about the number of blocks it takes on the chain.
I can't list the example, but it was something like 7 or 8 lines of code where there should be 4. Lots of warning this would happen, and many of the BTC maxis are unimpressed. But they hold large sums so probably have reason to be.

Personally, not sure BTC will dip much, and given the current financial collapse and changes on the way, I would be taking all my savings and taking a chance in BTC or ETH, maybe a 70/30 split, take it off the exchange onto a Ledger and stick it away so it's safe.

Or, at least half of my savings. We are heading for a big crash, banks are already crumbling. But, I don't have savings, so probably best not to take my advice. :)

p.s. Just heard the US government hold 200,000 BTC, if they sell, that could crash the price :)

I think XRP, ADA, MATIC, SUI and a few others interest me and might get some gains with the way crypto is being employed by businesses now. DOGE took a big dive after Elon's rocket blew up, but I think that could see some gains if he ends up using it on Twitter or has more success with his toys, but it's so reliant on what he does and the attention he pays to it.

I have some GALA because I think their games are going to be big, and they are doing a V2 airdrop to holders in 4 days. That's a serious XRP trade, nice one, how did you find out about it? Was it a tip, did you watch the markets, or dya think you just got lucky?
