How much do you guys bet?

Hola Guys and Gals, longtime lurker here.
I tend to stick to minimum bets up to 0.25 per spin on a deposit of 30.00. I sometimes go higher after a big win, but the highest ever was 5.00. If I see a game with a minimum bet above 0.4 (I'm looking at you High 5 Games) I'll just close it again without spending anything.

How high do you guys usually go per spin? And what minimum bet size is a turn off to you?

I guess euros, dollar and pounds and swiss franks are close enough together value wise that this poll could makes sense in any of them

The higher bets are when I have won some sportsbets and to be honest I have alot more fun on the lower stakes but sometimes you have to give it a go, usually that means your lucky streak ends all of a sudden tho I've had some big wins on higher stakes but the money goes back in really fast if you keep going at the nosebleed stakes.

Very true! I have played alot of reel steal and six acrobats, but not so much break da bank again, but they are all the same i guess?
Some of the merkurgames can pay really well aswell, and can be played at 10p most of them.
Novomatic also has a bunch of slots that are good for lowrolling, dolphins pearl, captain venture, etc.

Thanks for the tip, the Rise of Merlin looks like a nice finisher for the last few pounds. Often time I just want to get as many spins out of my budget as possible.

Depends on the balance. Usually deposit 30 - 100 euro, so I start at 0.20 - 0.50 depending on the game. If build my balance up considerably, preferably to a point where I at least can withdraw my initial deposit with a little profit and still have something to play with, I'll go up to 1 euro and possibly higher... again... depending on where my balance is. DOA2 never gets more than 0.18 from me. Not brave/stupid enough.

I did a couple of times go into the silly stakes after stupidly good runs of luck, but never again. Still shudder to think about the 10 - 20 euro spins I did on Book of Dead. Let's just say it did not pay off. Probably for the best honestly. Can't imagine how mundane sane stakes would feel if I hit a huge win on 20 euro.

If I have over $100 then I up my bet to $0.80 maybe $1. the highest I have bet is $4, but that's with $500 balance plus. I do bet higher if I play in my own Currency which is ZAR - Then I up to my bet between 50 - 100 ZAR.

Tend to start with £25 and 0.20p spins. If the balance gets low I try 9p on DOA2 or 5p on Donuts.

Otherwise if balance is above £50 I do 0.40p spins and if above £100 more like 0.60p or 0.80p spins.

Dont ever tend to bet any higher than £1 - thats usually a sign for me that I need to withdraw!

Mind you every now and then I like to be crazy and do one or two random £5 stakes just for sheer wishful thinking! One time it worked out lucky in Gonzo's Quest!

For me so much depends on the game and my balance. Except for DOA, I rarely bet less than 20 cents a spin. Max I have ever bet is $180 a spin, on a once in lifetime night. I had $3K I was willing to lose of a $28K balance, with a goal of cashing out should I hit 30K. I got really lucky, and it was difficult to scale back to making bets under $1.
Had one biggish win on a $100 bet later on a session where I had $4K balance and had meant to bet $10. It was quite a few spins, but the first two or 3 left me up a grand, so I thought I would keep going as long as I was not down.
I have had a lot of sessions where I upped bets as balance increased, only to lose it all.
The "bracket" system is not a bad one to employ. Start with $25 say, and 30 cent bets, move up to 60 cents at $100, back down to 30 cents at $50. I do find I need to change game, as I HATE betting $1 a spin and dropping down to 20 cents and hitting a bonus round.
I usually do play higher with a higher balance, or what I left after a cashout.

So how much are your deposits? About 1.5k at least? 12 bucks a spin... I deposit 300 play moon princess and genie jackpots on 60p and 1 to 2 bucks on occasions and bust out most of the times. If I would bet like you and my deposit would be 1.5k I would bust out in 20 to 30 min top on a bad day.. which is most days unfortunately lol.

Yes, the stakes are high, but so are the wins when they come.

Nearly always minimum bet, unless I have a bonus to wager then might go to the next highest. Most I've ever done deliberately is £1 but got caught a few times after finishing free spins and forgetting to check what the game has selected as the starting bet (that should be stopped and reduced to the minimum as it's a dirty tactic). Out of interest then, how many of you "flat bet"? When I played real stakes (or when I go to land-based), I used to up my stake after 50 or 100 spins without a feature. I used to avoid slots that didn't have small increments... Playtech slots from around the time of King Kong were the worst for this...you had to double your bet to play like I wanted to!!
