What do you think he did to win so much? Take advantage of a small house edge? Take advantage of non-random cards? Take advantage of a flawed program? Just lucky?

You are talking about Pirate of 21, an infrequent poster here. Cipher has helped him get a substantial part of his winnings.

At one time, Pirate of 21 posted at least some of his plays somewhere but it has been unavailable for quite some time. I'd like to see how he did it too but that would be up to Pirate.

it can be done !

yeah it can be done, i won $150,000 playing normal blackjack from a $1000 bankroll, it was over two weeks but like pirate i havent been paid, I am currently taking them to court, and no i didnt use any bots Lol,

If you have some time to spend you should read it. It's 50 pages long but it's a fascinating story.

Legendary thread. Actually Piraae was around here recently so maybe he could update us on the eventual outcome as it was so far in the past?

Wow, I read the whole thing...my eyes are bleeding and I have the sniffles now.

Wonder how it all worked out?

As i recall Pirate had a limit of $10,000 a hand at BJ. With such a limit $1,3million is entirely feasible.

I would never let it build up to such an enormous ammount, but any tips to win that much?! lol

The thread mentioned that he started with a $1000 deposit. Turning $1000 to $1.3 million is obviously extremely unlikely when playing a 21-type game. It is possible that he was very lucky, but there might also be a special technique, perhaps one that relates to Caribbean 21 now using 255 decks. Maybe they used few enough decks in the past to get a card counting advantage with the frequent splitting (can split any hand in Caribbean 21).

They still only allow you to bet like $5/hand on the game, right, so maybe they are still uncertain as to what happened.

yeah kahnhdom

I was trying to win enough to buy a house lol, thats why i let it build up glad i did because the lawyers want 20% to fight it no win no pay so that still leaves me with some,
The biggest suggestion i think I could make is to keep calm If you jump up and down and chase a loss the game tends to laugh at you and go take this sucker, and you lose fast so keep cool, then find a good site i allways play a five or three hand game but normaly only bet one hand just throw in five hands at random.
I use basic strat, flat bet, and progressive bet that are all over the place so i dont realy have a system other than keep cool.
