So far? How many are you about to give?
I wish I had the luxury of being able to properly look at the form of tomorrows racing and the going etc. As it is I doubt that I will watch one race
haha I usually pick 4 and do them in combo fc's and tricasts, had the fc's a few times and tc's a couple of times. I can't lose on the race seeing as one of my tc's paid over 5k. Just as a note for anyone looking at doing forcasts or tricasts, do the trifecta or exacta as they always pay a lot more on this type of race. Plus will do a few at least on B365 as their offer is unbeatable.
I don't like Blacklion, he might win, but didn't manage to last year, and has almost a stone extra to carry, on worse ground, I wouldn't have him as favourite.
Total Recall is another I crossed off my list early, prone to making jumping errors, which is something you can overcome in a lot of races, but not here, even with the smaller fences they have these days.
Seeyouatmidnight is fancied by a lot of people, but I just don't think Brian Hughes is very good over these fences.
I'm doing £25 EW on the ones below at Bet365, £250 stake but half back as cash, so £125, worst case all lose, but assuming even the lowest priced one is the only one to get placed then its a £25 loss, any of the others getting placed is a profit. I was in two minds if to do this as usually I wouldn't bet this big, however I won £400 last night on ABC, so if they all lose, just means my profit for the weekend is £275 rather than £400
I did like Shantou Flyer, but I'm not sure James is up to the job, having said that it could win if he is.
Warriors Tale is another I like on paper, but again, not sure the jockey is good for this race. I'm a huge fan of Sean Bowen, but I've noticed his riding style is to come late and fast a lot of the time, if he tries that here I don't think it will work, 4m on heavy ground isn't the time to leave your run from 20l back till the last furlong
I will have a bet on the place market on B365 though on this one. The other thing to note with this one is that Vintage Clouds was fancied to run well by the stable, and most people assumed they would pull Warriors Tale out to get Vintage in. That didn't happen so, to me, that in itself is a tip that they expect Warrior to run well.
Raz De Maree is probably my strongest EW selection. Loves heavy ground and the further the better. I liked him last year but he unseated his rider at the 6th after being badly hampered by a faller, however has a much better jockey on this year. Robbie Power has had 7 rides at Aintree this week, been placed in 4 and won 1.
Anibale Fly, chances speak for themselves.
Tiger Roll, has won on soft, has won over 4 miles, won the x country which is a good indication on jumping ability, only small negative is I think Davy Russell is over rated, but that doesn't mean he can't win.
Regal Encore I was told to back a few weeks ago, however it looks like he's about to be pulled out as a couple of bookies have removed him from the betting.
Will be doing these minus Shantou Flyer as forcasts and tricasts, so I can pretty must guess which will place now
