No time today, but picked these out earlier

1.50L Mr Millarcky, should beat these, in form, good weight, doesn't win by much, and despite the trip, think Derry Boy will be the one giving him a problem, if any of them do.
2.55L Stopnsearch Won here last week quite easily, if he can reproduce that he should win.
3.25L Clareyblue the money for thi sone tipped the scales away from Clog Maker (I can of course guess which will win)
4.15T Atalanta Breeze should beat the rest of the donkeys in this race without too much trouble.

One to mention, 4.05B Walk on Walter, was 14's last night, now 6's, shame its only 6 runner or would have backed this before I saw the money.

It's the one I was most iffy about cos the trainer and jockey haven't had a winner in the last 2 weeks, plus, if it's as good as I thought, it should be odds on
Doubting myself now, but got £106 back from a £30 stake, so win or lose, profit for the day for once lol

Back in the day my best winner was Summoner in a Group 1 at ascot, he was running against an odds on Fav and I backed it on the morning of the race at 66/1 as I couldnt see it being out of the first 3, a fiver ew which back then was a big bet for me.
It won by a mile, never looked in danger and the feeling I had on the Monday morning get a big wad of twenties was great.

I loved it too. He ran around the same sort of time as Dessie and I think its last race was in the early 90's. When my kids came along I rarely had a bet for about 20 years other than the odd occasion when I worked at a racetrack or whatever. Its only in the last few years that I've taken it back up regular.

I didn't even know that he was ill. What sad news. I hope that delays in cancer checks didn't play a part given that it took him quickly.

Sad news, I thought he had recovered but reading the reports he relapsed this year.
Goes to show how short life really is, he was only 43 and was first diagnosed 2 years ago.
He rode many a winner for me, he and Dermot Weld were truly the kings of Galway for many a year and I’m sure many people will have good memories of winners he had for them.

It was exactly a year to the day his charity race at the curragh raised a heap of money for cancer awareness.

9 times champion too without riding Aidan O'Briens horses at that period is some achievement!

The interesting one today is Daschas. Not in great form this season, but last year won this, and hold the record for the fastest time over the C&D. Obviously Blue De Vega will be hard to beat, but if any does, I think it will be this one. EW Single on it for me, small profit if second, better profit if wins.
