well that was shite ffs
Benarty Hill romped home Col. I hope you stuck your hat on it? I'm quite content with how my bets are going
I finished the days racing off making a slight profit which for me is a result because I have really enjoyed an afternoon of racing undisturbed by work or lifeDidn't have a big bet cos I had missed the value, so stuck a tenner on and put the wrong bloody horse on so had to redo it with the right one haha. Still got £35 profit so a winner overall
no pressure for me then for it to win lolCheers Col. I usually have my bets placed early morning but not today. I've just altered my bets to include it
no pressure for me then for it to win lol
I never bet much on the horses so either way its all goodno pressure for me then for it to win lol
You pay your money, you take your chance.... I for one love to see your tips , some win, some lose but most of the time we all get a run for our money.Well what a crock of shit that was. I really hate it when they mess about with stuff close to the off. I know the race would likely be abandoned if it had been run on the proper track, but Misty Mai wanted bottomless ground, switching it to fresh grass meant it wasn't heavy and killed her chances.
Sorry to those who backed it, but you can't predict that type of thing happening
The nag that I had originally selected is still running! I didn't even know that changing the track was an option?Well what a crock of shit that was. I used to be spend time with quite a few trainers and owners. I still do on occassion. The one thing that I have learnt over the years is not to trust every tip your given. These guys or usually over optimisticYou pay your money, you take your chance.... I for one love to see your tips , some win, some lose but most of the time we all get a run for our money.
So keep them coming @colinsunderland & @geordiecolin , I always look forward to seeing your tips/bets and if my horse can't win the race then I will always be cheering your's on.
Nor did I, but they can and do move fences and hurdles so presumably its ok, this is what the racing post said before the raceThe nag that I had originally selected is still running! I didn't even know that changing the track was an option?
Horses for courses so the saying goes!
I agree, I am pretty good at sorting the wheat from the chaff usually, Cheltenham and the Grand National are the worst, you can get 10 horses in every race that the trainers and jockeys swear they will winI used to be spend time with quite a few trainers and owners. I intend to be at both of those major meetings this year. I have a daughter in Cheltenham so it would be doubly sweet.I agree, I am pretty good at sorting the wheat from the chaff usually, Cheltenham and the Grand National are the worst, you can get 10 horses in every race that the trainers and jockeys swear they will win
Bowen took the 1st at 12/1!In the veterans race today I like (3.00 S) Carole's Destrier EW at 16/1, however the career record of Vieux Lion Rouge below Class 1 level reads 1111111103011 (10/13), improving to 1111111111 (10/10) away from Cheltenham and he drops back down to Class 2 level today away from Cheltenham.
Good luck to anyone having a bet
I just about made my money back Col. Too tired to sort my bets out for todayI'll just forget today happened haha. How did yours get on Col, Sean had a 16/1 winner later in the day too, didn't back either as hadn't spoken to anyone so didn't know if they were fancied or not.
Tomorrow The Caller is back in action with Sean riding him, in the Sussex National at 2.40. The Caller is the horse I put up a couple of months back in the Durham National that won around 7/1 I think. Didn't run well last time, but Sean's back on board tomorrow and is worth an EW bet at 18/1 with Hills. Can see it being that price tomorrow, would expect it to start around the 10/1 mark max.
If Weststreet jumps ok then he has a good chance of getting placed too, around 20/1 at the moment.
