Then saw Mark of the man in race about to go. Went sod it will bet that but only did £2 e/w as wasn't wasting anymore. Still means £10 in profit in end.

Ended up putting couple of quid on Spirit of Bermuda so done alright in end today.

Don't normally do Irish racing but did an e/w lucky 15 for tonight. Only £6 bet but first just won so least it won't bomb totally.

The full Monty would have paid more than 400x but I can't complain.
I may have told this before but in 1990 I put a Canadian on each day of Goodwood because Ch4 showed 5 live races plus they showed highlights in the evening. One of the days I marked out my bets but because I had to go on an all day training course I couldn't get to the bookies. All 5 won I found while watching the evenings replays. They ranged from 16/1 to something like 11/2. I've never gone close since

And the course was pointlessly shit

The owners of Definite Katie in the 8.15 expect her to place at the very least (warning : owners are notoriously optimistic about their horses )
She has halved in price though, even though on paper she's the stable second string

What a terrible ride that was, don't think it would have won, but would have placed if the jockey hadn't had her half a mile behind coming into the home turn ffs. Why do jockeys think they can make up that sort of ground in such a short space of time.

I couldnt believe the price of it, but you will take that for a starter, fingers crossed you get something to go in along with it.
I had my usual start...stuffed after the first race, now i can look forward to tonight at Galway and see what losers I can pick

I had the same as you in the second race, thought it was all over the winner until the last 50 yards and then I new it was going to get chinned on the line... and as usual I had it to win, not EW.
