Official Hi! We are Nolimit City!

I’ve had some fantastic wins on Hot Nudge , and still play it quite frequently. Keep up the good work .

Welcome! Big fan of the NoLimitCity slots. So many times Tractor Beam has saved me from a disastrous session. Great game! Tombstone hasn't been as kind though ;)

Question on the Pixies vs Pirates game, it seems when you retrigger the bonus there are less wins to be had? Is this just a fluke? Seems the original bonus pays quite nice, then the retriggers just are dead spins counting Pixies and Pirates?

Is there a reason why the one guy looks so simmilar to chipmunkz?
at a guess, I'd say it's British prime minister Winston Churchill

Minimum bets is a fun topic! We usually keep them very low, as low as the denominations allow it to do a proper payout actually, and that's why Punk Rocker ended up at 25c - our highest so far. I think we stand out a bit with a lot of slots at 10c, and I do agree with that you need to play sensible stakes on volatile slots, especially if you want to experience the ride on a longer term.

I've seen a few providers with an unnecessary high minimum stakes, and I'm sure there's a reason behind it. I'll let them dwell deeper into that.

Another thing is the bet levels and jumps in-between them, what's your view on these? Are ours reasonably set up or to few - any thoughts?

There seems to be a lack of stakes for the medium(-high) rollers, or how should I call people who like to spin somewhere between €1 and €5 a go: it goes up from 1 to 2 to 4 and 5. It'd probably be nice to have some choice inbetween like 1.20, 2.50, 3,... From 2 to 4 is a decent jump in stake.

Most of your slots I've played were 20c min bet which is still ok with a deposit that's usually €20-25. Anything higher and I'll only play it when I've managed to double my deposit or already have a withdrawal going. Especially when the intro screen says the volatility is high :p

I would like to see a slot that gives me every step of the betscale.
So if min stake is 10p it goes 10-20-30-40-50 etc and not 10-20-40-1-2-4-5
Maybe i want to highroll on 30p, but dont feel quite rich enough for 40p. :P
Or maybe i want to play 70p and not jump straight to £1.

That, and fully customizable autoplay-limits.
Let me set it for 23 spins with a losslimit of 11x if i want to, i mean why not?

And last but certainly not least. Let me spin on spacebar.
Providers who does not even give the option to spin on spacebar should not be allowed to make slots.
:)

Totally agree with being able to fully customize autoplay settings!

And spacebar for lightning fast spins when tilted

Well, I gave Punk Rocker a go tonight. Only started with $23 and minimum bets. I did have a hit of $18, when balance was pretty low, brought me to almost even, but it was not pretty after that. I'll revisit it for sure.

I do like Manhatten whatever, sorry, and I like the Kitchen Drama Sushi slot, I'll check out the BBQ one at some point.

I do like a lot of choice in bet amounts. Some middle ground between $1 and $2, and certainly not from $2 or $2.50 to $5.

I am not the only player to play at more than one casino. I have to agree one RTP is ideal in my books. Even if you play just one place, and the slot (cough cough PnG) can be set at different RTPs, I don't want to have to check every time I want to play, as casinos can change it. Heck, given the recent Gala/Coral thread, they can change it and not even update the info.

If you want to continue to offer different RTPs, and I do see why you want to, at least put it front and centre on the splash screen, or imbedded in the help file so the casino cannot make a mistake if they deploy a different model.

Welcome to the forum. I am always especially glad to see game providers join.

Thats probably the best way of doing it.
I think blueprint shows rtp when you load up slots.
Things like that should be required by regulation.

welcome to the forum :)

i will echo others nolimit slots are refreshing and fun to play and do love punk rocker and Manhattan
i also love Dragon tribe , but seems its hard to hit feature on it two times i have gone around 350+ spins
without a bonus round and now reluctant to try it

apart from that no complaints . looking forward to play your new slots

Hey Nolimit! Welcome to the forums indeed:)
Always great to have reps for providers on board, and especially for providers that seem to know what they're doing:p

As Harry, also been 'reviewing' your slots since Hot Nudge, and immediately knew i was going to have to check any new release pronto! I love streaky saalots, which so far seems to be one of the perks you guys implemented somehow. I will add my 2 cents as to what i feel could be maintained/improved perhaps:

Love low denomination slots, was slightly sad about the minimum bet of 25cents for Punk Rocker, which is an awesome game, but due to its clearly very high variance, one a low roller such as myself will have to stay clear of unless my balance already increased somewhat. So i hope you will at least provide the option for operators to have the standard minimum bet of 10 cents or thereabout (perhaps you already have, and most operators opted for higher, but just in case)

Love 'enhanced' or 'special' features like in Punk Rocker and Tombstone, where more scatters or all of the various bonus scatters combined will get you those juicy features with much higher probability for epic wins..
Hope to see that in most of your coming releases too.

Hate useless animations - Taking Punk Rocker as example - often times the Molotov wilds can't form a win, but still expands, as does the xways mystery symbol. I'd personally love to see all providers ditch these, as they are just a waste of time. Also seems kind of silly to even implement it in the first place, but hey...

As far as graphics, sounds and mechanics go, i think you're absolutely on top of the heap. Very innovative, (which is quite hard these days) and pleasant in general.

Trying to keep it short here, hence the 'limited' feedback above :p
Keep up the good work and hope to see you guys throw some CM special comps soon!

Lovely too see a provider making a effort. Welcome guys.
not played much lately, but when I do I’ll be wanting the chip symbol to earn me a fortune so I can retire and move to a land far away.
Unfortunately we don't have any Jackpot slots...

Great to hear that you find Tractor Beam as a saviour, that is a pretty volatile game as well with its wild-spins hits in the bonus, but not as volatile as Tombstone! That one can be quite uneasy on the bank roll when you run cold, but then all of a sudden it flexes its muscles.

Retriggers are just the same from what I remember, however reels may vary a bit but not to any extent you're talking about - sounds more like an unlucky streak, but those are no fun to experience either.

A pretty normal/frequent bonus mode is usually around 150 to say 200 spins for us, so to go 350 spins is something that of course can happen at a somewhat unlucky streak. It'll hopefully be good when you get it. Poison Eve, Owls and Starstrack has a more frequent bonus mode, maybe that's something that's more suited for a refreshing start?

@incrediblestuff - thanks for the feedback and also the kind words, it feels like you've mentioned some of the details that we're especially proud of and something that we ourselves likes in a slot.

Reg. Enhanced features - I like this way of producing a slot, it becomes a longer journey and something to hope for, even tho you "only" hit 3 scatters. An extra dimension to it somewhat. In Dragon Tribe we went the "+3 spins on additional scatters", which is also ok - but there we gave you the choice of two different modes to choose from instead. Not all games are suited to do this kind of bonus tho, so we need to be picky in when to do it.

Reg. useless animations - It's a tough decision what to do with the ones that doesn't hit. We want to show the "visual value" of the feature, and educate the player of the potential even tho it doesn't hit - but we don't want to waste your time. Its a subjective opinion if it's fast enough or not and I guess we do get it wrong at times. We try to crunch so many rounds and our animation guys can get tired of us complaining about things to be more obvious, but faster...

Hi there Nolimit and welcome to CM, thanks for taking the time to engage with the community here, it's very much appreciated :)

I've covered a good number of your games on my channel already, most recently Punk Rocker which I think is a truly fantastic game, in spite of the variance and most certainly not because of it.

I get that the market seems to be trending in a more volatile direction, but the variance profile of your games really seems to have amped up substantially, from games like WIXX (which is possibly my favourite Nolimit game, with a near perfect volatility IMO), to monsters like Tombstone and Punk Rocker.

Tombstone in particular can be startlingly brutal, demolishing a £100 balance on 20p bets without pausing for breath.

I also gave Barbarian Fury a go over at Rizk, I liked the game in terms of design and mechanics, but the number of dead spins and tiny wins was outside my comfort range, and after fluking a reasonably good bonus round that arrested the downward trajectory of my bankroll, I decamped to something a bit tamer.

I guess my question is, given that higher volatility games seem to be here to stay, have you considered releasing your games with alternative maths models? For example as NetEnt have done with Berry Burst and Berry Burst Max (I quite like Berry Burst, but I always play the non-max version).

As much as I love both Punk Rocker and Tombstone as games, the swings they're capable of generating tend to mean that I don't get involved for long sessions.

Is there any chance of you dual-releasing games such as this, so that those of us who are more engaged by playtime and more wins in the 100-500x stake range, rather than hoping for a monster multi-thousand times stake win, could feel a bit more at home?

Thanks again for your input!

Thanks @ChopleyIOM - really appreciate your coverage on a wide range of our slots - you were early on picking us up in that perspective.

We've had discussions about doing dual-versions, but it's really hard to do with for example the xNudge feature - which by nature becomes quite volatile. The way you would have to do it is to "rig" the reels and its outcome which would in some respects be boring. If we find a good way, then we'll do it - as the not so volatile games are super-fun to play as well. Tesla Jolt is in my book, a good example of that. Wixx was back in the day "crazy volatile" when we first started with it, especially as you trigger only a respin - not a couple of spins or 10 free spins. That was for sure a "hit or miss" kind of feature, but it triggered very often. I'd say that Wixx and to some extent also Coins of Fortune, are games which are somewhat overlooked since they were early games.

I'm sure we'll be able to cater for your types of payouts as well, I will for sure take it on to see what we can do with it for coming games.

Wow, thanks guys - this warms our heart. I must say that you've got a very sensible approach to gambling Jon, keep at it.

We were a bit anxious for two things:
1. No one would respond.
2. If someone would actually respond, but not in a very positive way, we'd be off on a rocky start.

Well, that's out of the way for now and we can make a sigh of relief and just aim to please our fellow CM'ers. Most of us at Nolimit are fellow members as well (personal accounts), and we follow loads and loads of threads and probably spend too much time in this forum reading about other games - both for professional use and also just because it's fun.

Don't hesitate to ask us questions, even tho we like to be flattered as well. It's great to be a bigger part of CM from now on!

I don't think i've ripped one of your games a new ass yet, but there is always time ;)

There are soooo many small companies popping up (through Microgaming mainly, but also others) who really don't have the slightest clue when it comes to making slot games. Art is rarely a problem, but maths is clearly a problem for a lot of them.

The gravy train will not be forthcoming for most of them...

I hope you don't fall in to this category...

(runs off to check NLC games)

I agree that not EVERY game works with volatility selection (or indeed different volatilities) - some mechanics are just volatile. Yes, you CAN make them less volatile - and i disagree that you would have to "rig" the reels - you wouldn't. That said, one way normally to reduce volatility is to massively reduce the pays and make them happen more frequently - but if your pays are already low, there is very little you can do.

Megaways games introduced low pays in order to make the multipliers work - and they did so successfully.

As with everything, the cyclic nature of this industry means that it is likely the players will move to something else eventually.

About time Chopley does a No Limit City slot session on Youtube:lolup:

There are several on the channel already if you haven't seen those yet :)

True, reducing the pay is one way, you're right on a general note - but what I wanted to get across is that the xNudge feature is quite boring to set up specific rules to make it payless. The most intriguing part of it is to land several of those Wilds.

Looking forward to see you play our games and rip through them.

Thought we'd blow some new love into this thread, it has started to fade a bit. Just to trigger @trancemonkey a bit extra, we'd let you all know that Barbarian Fury is now out on all clients.

FB_Header.webp

Game in short:
5x4 reels, 25 win lines with xNudge Wilds, Barbarian Respin and Fury Spins.

We've built in a few more explosive nudge features as well - land 3 of the same premium symbols and you've got the chance of them nudging in fully and reward a Barbarian Respin, with these premiums locked in (plus any wild!) and all other reels respin - a feature that is guaranteed in Fury Spins!

Fury Spins is triggered by 3 or more scatters, but number of spins awarded is decided on how many nudges that's needed to get the scatters off the reels. Something that makes the "buy feature" significantly more fun as it can award you a range from 9 to 20 spins. The multiplier is sticky in Fury Spins and will no reset - and each scatter will retrigger your FS with 1-4 spins.

You can play for fun below - or of course choose the casino of your choice that hosts our games:

Good
-------
- Scatters appearing on every reel (i think)
- Nice graphics, and smooth gameplay as with all your slots.
- Spacebar to spin. Atleast its supposed to be possible, tho i could not find where to activate it. (not under cog)
-Bears

Bad
--------
-Min stake 25p.

Shame it does not offer down to 10p or even 20p.
Looks like a fun slot.
Will probably try it out if i get a decent hit on something else first.

I would respectfully suggest that CM members give this one a kick around in free money play before committing real funds, as it's quite a remarkably lumpy game. (Too much so for my taste.)

It can easily go 400-600x stake without kicking anything substantial back, add in the 25p minimum play and the potential for a very unedifying session is all too plain to see.

The problem I have with it is that you're waiting for too many planets to align, in the base game you need to get the nudges to work in your favour (and all too often you get the tease and then they don't nudge at all, or they do nudge and then the respin completely misses), and you need to add a multiplier in for a proper juicy hit. It makes for a frustrating base game with so many dead spins and irritating misses.

The free spins round certainly can hit big, but getting a decent multiplier going AND landing a decent win feels too much like herding cats. (But at least the reels always nudge when they can.) Plus there are too many bonus rounds where the multiplier stays at a flat 1x IMO.

Didn't float my boat TBH, Punk Rocker this is not.

Also it's plenty harsh on the 96% maths model, so watch yourself on the 94% maths model.

If you like a high variance game and have the inclination (and balance!) to roll with the punches this might be the game for you, and certainly if you get a lucky early hit there's a nice profit to be made, but not a slot I'd settle down to for a session.

Decided to play Punk Rocker. Hundreds of spins before bonus, a bonus that then paid £3.60 on 50p stake....

Plus the animations saying 'no win' etc are tilting as fuck when you just lost 75% of your bankroll not even breaching a 10x win. It almost feels like you're having the piss taken out of you.

Top marks on game design however. It has a good feel.

I simply like that, if you trigger some random feature with potential and you miss, it remains a: 'miss" or "bollock" or "shit" - they simply show/display how you should feel. I think it's creatively found and applied in a fun way.

When the slots tell me "no win" i just start swearing back to the game, laugh out loud and move on to the next spin :)

It was the 'loooool' that really got me.

Sad to hear that's the way you felt @Mr_Slot5 , not what the meaning was - but I can see your point. The rough edges of the slot, both stylistically and the math, is on the harsher side of things. After a rough session I totally get it. I hope your next session is better, if you're up for another, and that you can see the funnier side of it - it's meant to be a sarcastic remark ofc.

I most definitely will give it a bash again. I love the look and design of the slot and I'll probably love the maths model once I'm on the right side of it :D

It doesn't really play that much different to BTGs DHV in the base game but the difference is I hit 2300x on my first session on that so it kinda stuck with me.

Anyway, apart from the 'looool' good job :)

The 'SHIT' and 'BOLLOCKS' are funny, (and appropriate), but I'd have advised them against putting the 'LOOOOOL' in there.....

This breaks rule 1* of slot design - never EVER reinforce bad luck / losses / etc...
Some providers STILL say "CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE WON 0.00" if you get nothing in a feature.
How hard is it to code around that? Not very, i can tell thee

*There are lot of rule 1's - so let's call this rule 1.15

Haha - why would this trigger me?

Plus i GAMSTOP'd myself last year to save up to get married and buy a house. And i haven't been bothered to undo it... i just use VPN and play for free at foreign sites now to do my research :) So, sadly, i won't be putting any real cash through it :(
