Hello everyone,

Yes, yes I know what you're thinking - very, very cheesy name - BigDaddyMD - but I was super tired and couldn't think of anything mroe original! Gah!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, hope y'all are having a good day.

I was just brought on board as part of a new team for SilverOakCasino.com (and the Silver Oak group), as they're now under new management and we want to be friendlier, more fun and more importantly - more transparent!

We realize that the previous group had its issues and may have rubbed some people the wrong way, but we want to completely change that so we're going to be offering more unique creative and promotions and far better customer service.

One of the biggest problems with online casinos (I'm sure y'all will agree) is that you never really know who's behind the scenes and how secure an operation is. Well, I'm one of the people behind the scenes and we've got a really good team here now filled with industry-experienced Yankees, Canucks and Brits (oh and a few Irish too - can't forget the Paddys!), so in the next few months you'll see a lot of changes - in how we talk to customers, how we look to customers, what we offer them and how we treat our affiliates.

hello and welcome to the forum mike:), please tell me your not with the virtual group:eek:ie, palace of chance, cirrus and prism and the list goes on.............i have to admire you coming on the forum and being honest about wanting to make changes, doing what you say with positive results will always out weigh just mere words, on this forum..................laurie:)

When I'm done here, it'll be just like Vegas - we'll all make money, customers will be happy and want to come back and maybe then I'll think about theme parks, pirate shows and all-you-can-eat buffets, but first things first.

Please let me know your own thoughts too on ways to improve, or what you like about certain sites or dont' like about others.

Personally I am not happy that you seem to be hiding the fact that you represent these casinos in your forum posts.
You have typed those URL's into just this one post instead of using the signature feature.
Looks like the same sort of dodgy behaviour we always expect from this rogue group. I think you have a looooooooong way to go before you'll get a modicum of respect for your casinos round here!

Did you contact the CasinoMeister before posting?

To begin with - sorry but pseudo signatures are not allowed. Only fully registered users and above can use one. If you are an I-gaming representative, then please contact me and I'll add you to the list - ensure you use an email address which includes the domain of your company or parent company.

Further, the re-branded Crystal Palace Group has a number of unresolved issues - and it was a lot more than "rubbing people the wrong way." Crystal Palace pretty much did whatever it felt like when it came to paying players or whatever. It's a matter of public record that they refused to pay the winnings of two players even though Montana Disputes found the casino liable for the winnings.

You are representing a rogue casino. If you wish to have the membership take a look at your casino operation, that's your prerogative. Offering promotions is not the way to go here - and the membership needs a bit more than "we're under new management." They've heard that before :p

You have a hell of a lot of work cut out for you. The Crystal Palace group has a seriously bad history - and you've just volunteered to make amends :D

I come in peace! I didn't know posting URLs was a no-no, and I guess I should update my signature, but haven't yet.

There's no "dodgy behavior" here, just a complete and utter forum noob. I will try to make sure I follow the rules in the future, my apologies.

I'm not a part of the Crystal Palace group, we're a completely new company and trust me - I'm well aware of the prior shenanigans they used to pull - we're a totally new operation.

I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes, I'm here to transform the culture and try to make my bosses and my customers happy. The first condition I demanded when I came onboard here is assurances that Crystal Palace's old ways of doing things would not be OUR way of doing things.

Any customer service agents who lie to customers will be fired, on spot. Casino winners will be paid - and really fast too. I really want to say "There's a new Sheriff in town" but that is overly corny.

Basically, it's like a new corner store opened up in the spot an old one used to occupy. Now this old corner store had really mean employees who wouldn't give back change, or give customers the respect they did. Little wonder than that the old store failed. So we come in to the new store, in the same location and we understand that some of the old customers will paint us with the same brush and say "oh they're crooks, don't go there." but all we can do is try to run things in a brand new way, with respect for our customers (yes that means giving back change when they ask for it and not lying - I was raised in a strict Christian household, if my momma found out I was working for a lying casino she'd whoop me still) and offer some good products and incentives to bring customers in.

Myself, and the new team here, realize it will not be done overnight, and we know some mornings we'll have to clean eggs off our storefronts, but if given the chance, we can prove that we deserve your business. It won't happen overnight, but done the right way, it will happen.

So I welcome all concerns and feedback, I'll even give out my personal email address to anyone who asks for it. I feel like I'm singing a BoyzIIMen song, but just give me a chance and I'll prove it's different.

I realize there's a lot of work to "make amends" but then again - Rome wasn't built in a day, but it turned out pretty good in the end.
 
Oh and yes, the operators realize I'm posting here. They told me "you realize they'll totally just roast you", but hey, you can't change people's minds if you're afraid to talk to them (did Obama say that? If he did - awesome, my first Obamism!)
 
Welcome to the forum BigDaddyMD! IMHO you are nuts but to each their own. Since the GW/APCW thing kinda blew up in their faces (have they provided their "proof yet?") very surprised to find you here so soon. Man, we ain't elephants but most will remember what has transpired over the past few months. Have to strongly suggest you give your new MO time for fruition before you come to the boards for another ration of "we've changed" "we're not like the old rogues" "we're under new management" "give us a chance" yadda yadda yadda.................I believe in order for you to deserve our time, we deserve your proof. If your casino can't make a go of it without this board then there is no one to blame but yourselves..............JMHO
