Hello everyone,
I was an Italian student of Business Management in London, with a serious problem with risk/money management :noteworthy .
The primary reason I subscribed in this Forum, is because I was advised that you are the best guys to solve a problem or advice solution, however as an ex damn gambler, all I can say is ,I wish I introduced myself to all of you long ago.

I do sports and love my studies, reading,surfing,girls.....etc...
BUT in the Casino world... I play everything , of course some more than others.
BlackJack and Texas Hold Em the best
Last Roulette and Slots
A new runner is Financial, a sort of spread betting that few website offer.
Online, I played in many Casinos : SuperCasino, Jackpot247, 888 , William Hill.
Pokerstars and PartyPoker for Poker(Whenever you wants to play one vs one , write me:lolup: ) .
Now, I moved to Ladbrokes, as far as I know they are the fastest payers and once you withdraw, you can not reverse the withdrawal. Additionally it is very fast in transferring to Paypal or Bank.(If you can't properly manage your money this will help you ,but personally I believe you should stop playing.)

Hey...this is not a promotion, this is about me. In fact I closed all the account and stayed with Ladbrokes and still be deluded.

GAMBLING CAN RESULTS IN ADDICTION. Let me admit I was addicted to GAMBLING, this being the main reason I previously called myself an ex damn gambler.
Lost way more than what I earned(Sold T.V,Tablet) , and being far from family and real friends, its hard to control.
It is nice to play..the rush of risking for an emotional stress which mainly are euphoria or pure delusion, all this because we seek that adrenaline we need in our daily lives in pursuit of happiness or those glorious moment, if you know what I mean.
A damn gambler looses control and never accept defeats. He wants everything back when he looses, he plays more than what he has and does not stop. If so, don't destroy your life :machinegu , be a smart gambler.
A smart gambler:
  • CONTROL
  • YOURSELF
  • SET A GOAL

You got to control yourself and accept winning occasion as a loosing one. Your life, yourself is more important than a card or a ball in a table, man you should be eating there!!!!.
Set a goal, you walk in a casino, don't show off and withdraw enormous amounts or play with more than you have, you start with a number and either you double or triple or lose, don't go over it.

SO PLEASE DON'T DO MY IGNORANT MISTAKE. DON'T IF YOU HAVE
A GOAL, A FAMILY AND WANT TO LIVE MORE.

You know How I fell for it ? Not loosing a lot, I won a considerable amount that I wanted to win again and forced my luck.
For the rest now I am back on track, realised the mistake and play occassionally.
If anyone in the forum is a student or is just passing through this same moments, message me I am ready to help ,support and chat with you.

This is all I can say about me and you Casinomeister.
I will soon post the recent big issue which might solve all my problems and hopefully share nice moments to with other forum Members.

Thank You for accepting me here
Best Wishes of Luck

would seem silly to post this as some casinos exclude students

I don't think that is true, and I don't know how you can call it silly when I am offering help anyways.

It is not always true then, I don't know how will they know anyways. I know quite a lot of players whom are student that play in Online casinos.
I don't want to build an issue around or concentrate on why they do or don't allow student rather show who I am when speaking to other members .
Best Wishes

Hi Erserpico,

First off welcome to the forum, good people and Knowledge around these walls of Casinomeister land so soak it all in.

If I may just step in-Dionysys isn't trying to be mean or have a go at you, if anything s/he is actually trying to give you a good honest heads up about being a student and gambling at online casinos.
About 6 onths ago we had a member here w1ho posted a story about NOT being paid from a casino due to him being a student. Long story short this member let it slip that he was a student when he sent the casino an email saying he needed his money quickly as he was a student and needed to pay bills etc ( or at least I think thats how the story went) Anyway's,once the casino found out this person was a student they confiscated the winnings and closed off all his accounts and they came here and tried to PAB about it and failed. Casinomeister agreed that the casino was in the right here as they had clearly stated in there terms and conditions that students were not allowed to play at the casino or any of it's sister sites.
The thread would be around here somewhere if anyone wants to search for it- I'm very lazy and don't want to do that myself.

On another matter, I agree with Nifty- what's with the random photo's that you are posting. It seems you are being secret about something and I'm eager to know what it is.

All the best,

Same_old.

P.S- this cryptic stuff reminds me of NASHVEGAS lolololol!!

Yeah about that

"These winnings will quite possibly change my life and help me re-pay my student debt, this has led to my decision to contact you."

Those words are from the first e-mail GG received from Samuel T, a student at London's Royal College of Art and Design, and are the reason that we are even happier than usual that we could mediate a mutually satisfactory agreement between a casino and a player.

Actually, there was not all much for us to do -- the only problem was satisfying Club World as to Samuel's identity. However, given the amount at stake 29,535 GBP (which translates to 33,703 Euros or US $45,312), it is not at all surprising that Club World wanted to be 100% certain that Samuel was who he said he was.

For that matter, GG also would not have wanted to assist someone in defrauding a casino, so we, too, didn't want to take any chances.

Samuel understood all of that even before he wrote to GG. He told us that, "I signed up, deposited 500 pounds via Neteller and played slots at the casino on the 5th of November 2009 and after completing the wager requirement I I finished with 29535 pounds. Elated with my win I started the withdrawal process and between the 5th of November to the 26th of January, in total I sent them:

"* Bank statement
"* My college ID
"* My passport certified by the post office
"* The address and contact Number of the post office where I got my passport certified
"* A clear photo of me holding passport
"* The fax back form signed by me
"* A notarized copy of my passport certified by (a South Kensington solicitor)."

It sounds complete, right?

It probably would have been -- except for an apparent mistake made by someone in the solicitors' office. Here, we will let Tom of Club World tell what happened:

"When any new player registers at our casino we actively verify the account. In this case we could not verify any of the details on his account. There were no matching records for his name, address, phone number and when we tried to call the phone number registered on his account while he was online there was no response.

"This in itself is not a huge problem, however after he won the funds he still would not answer the phone or respond to e-mails. Two weeks later he supplied us with the documentation required for withdrawal, however they looked suspicious (photoshopping pixilation and shading inconsistencies) and so we asked him to get them notarized by an official notary.

"Instead, weeks later he sent us in another version of his passport that had a post office stamp near it. This proves nothing, so again I asked him to send us his passport notarized officially.

"Weeks later I received a copy of his passport with a stamp near it from a solicitor. The solicitor’s stamp did not cover any part of the ID, the associated text was obviously printed on a desk top printer, there was no signature, no date and no indication of which solicitor was acting as a notary. When I phoned the solicitor they had no record of him, no record of providing the notarization, no record of the ID and not even a receipt for the payment."

The last part was the crux of the problem. If the solicitor had confirmed that Samuel had been brought in his passport and had it notarized, Club World would have already paid him.

"I then decided to call (the solicitor's office) regarding the matter and they apologised to me for the misunderstanding and told me that they would be more than happy to call the casino themselves to verify the document I had sent the casino," Samuel said.

This probably would have been sufficient for Club World if it had been a much smaller withdrawal, but with 29535 pounds at stake, who can blame them for being very careful?

As Samuel told GG that he was willing to go to any notary in central London that Club World would accept, we suggested to Tom that he choose one he had either a personal or business connection with and, more than that, give the notary exact instructions of what the casino wants.

Tom, in turn, contacted the casino's London law office, was given the names of two notaries, and told us that he would accept certifications from either one of them. To be extra careful, the notary will keep a copy of the passport and will confirm it when Tom calls to check.

GG, in turn, had the very great pleasure of writing to Samuel today to tell him this. Now, all he has to do is decide which of the two notaries is more convenient for him, go there with his passport, and then wait until Club World sends him the money to pay off his student debt.

So at one time they paid students?

I was wondering when someone would bring up the 'student part' :p It took less time than I thought:lolup::laugh: Anyhoooo if your'll a student but an adult student (say over 21, back at Varsity doing whatever) does this rule still apply to you? Just curious ;)

Anyhoooo, good on ya for kicking the bug. Im seriously considering it myself, well the thoughts there, oh and by the way.... welcome to the forum:D

The only group that I am aware of who exclude students is Club World.
If there are any others, I would be obliged if anyone would let me know.
Thanks.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for welcoming me in Casinomeister.
To begin with ,I will explain the random pictures, why are they random?
First is a poker tournament I was playing while writing the thread the second is just a proof that Casino handle membership cards to student to.

Now , let me thank sapit22 , same_old, I lovejesus for support and welcoming me here.
Lettingyouknow with his amazing story and Kasinoking for supporting me.

Dreamguardian I am 24, yet still under 25, however I already have a degree, and I am completing another one. I guess the fact that even if you are 40 years old and a student Casino might use this as an excuse. THey will let you deposit as much as you want , but when it comes to paying out, they try to find whatever excuses suits them.

Let s face it, this is such a stupid rule, I mean...Why would you restrict by occupation rather than age.
I mean a student has a lot to loose, but as much as a worker/professional with a family.

In United Kingdom , most of the students ask for a loan to start their degree, which they need to pay over the rest of their life if they meet a minimum wage.
If one student wins in a casino and pays all his debt or loan, isn't it a beautiful story?
"But life isn't sweet as it should be; the eyes are the easiest to deceive."( WHAT A BEAUTIFUL QUOTE I WROTE HERE)

It has been one week I got into contact with the Casino who was suppose to pay out, I even sent the screen shot explaining and showing why is IMPOSSIBLE I LOST. THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME.
I will speak to custom care again for the last time and then post everything here, with the hope that they pay more attention to details and be more professional with their players.

For the rest, thanks all, have a lovely weekend
Best Wishes
Erserpico
