I have been having this problem for months now with 32Red, which is the only microgaming casino I currently play at. After removing and reloading the casino, so often I can't play the majority if not all the games. I double click, they don't fully load or they show as fully loaded, and yet I cannot open them. End up having to open task manager to close all the game launches which have never really launched and repeat. I do think I have seen people post about this problem somewhere on the site, but I would appreciate if someone could address this post specifically.

Often times, what happens is what you see in the attached screenshot i.e. after I keep trying to download a game, e.g. The High Life, my whole screen buggers up, beyond the 32Red screen and into the Task Manager screen.

Sometimes after I uninstall and reinstall the software, I can play for awhile, but inevitably it messes up after awhile or on a subsequent day when I launch the software.

I previously thought it might be my anti-virus program, which was Bit Defender, so I removed it and am currently using AVG. But I am still having the same problems.

Unlike so many of you here, I am techno-challenged, so please use computer for dummies language if you know how to solve my problem!
Many thanks in advance!

Yes, you need to do a compete uninstall - all that the Microgaming uninstall does is remove the tip of the iceberg, i.e. the Viper interface. You need to search 'my computer' for 'MG' and 'microgaming'. You'll find numerous files and they will be huge, up to 10GB+ as all your previous play is stored on your PC rather then their server. Delete these manually (they're easy enough to identify from your list that will appear after the search) and then reinstall the Viper download. I always found this worked, the only downside being you'll lose your spin history in your account tabs.

Except for the Microgaming, you will find the whole map for them in Windows C, Program data and it's called mgs. It's huge, over 16-20GB these days and it takes a while to remove.

If it doesn't solve the problem they do have a guy working there who can help you step by step, but you need to send them an email and describe the problem as you did here. Normal support can not help. I know that for sure.

Could this possibly be why ive lost hundreds over the last 4 months on multi player Avalon on download client (keeps crashing near bonus rounds and insists that a game is still open)? Its a microgaming game isnt it?

What do i do do fix it Tirilej? (in basic explaination for this old woman? lol

Multiplayer on that game you're playing at the same time as other players aren't you? I've never done that so don't really know how it's working.
Interesting that you say near a bonus round. How do you know that? :p

If it's on 32Red then I know they will try to help you solve it if you talk to support. Sorry but can only advice where I've had problems myself :)

Tirilej...."Interesting that you say near a bonus round. How do you know that?"
Because there is a chat facility in game and when i close viper and restart they are either locked in the bonus round or other players tell me it just went. Ive played it for years and its only last 6 months that there have been problems with it freezing etc (almost like there is too much data trying to be processed if that makes sense).

Maybe MG have stopped doing updates. I think the Viper will disappear for 32Red soon unfortunately.
It's also clear these days that for some games we need to have the best computer to play at all. I bought a new one a few months ago and all my problems at 32Red disappeared. A great feeling after having a hell since I started playing there :)

Have you talked to support? I know it's hell to even find them but they are good if you get there:D

Thanks Dunover and others. When I uninstall, I do go into the C drive, as well as my download history and delete everything I find... and clear history and cache... the clearing cache seeming to be the most helpful in being able to play games for awhile again. But I have not done an additional search for MG and microgaming on this computer, which is relatively new (just over a year) and pretty darn good otherwise. Will try your suggestions and see if that works.
p.s. when you say "reinstall the Viper download", I assume you mean (in my case) the 32Red 'premium software'?
Thanks again!

Yes that is what he mean. Just notice that the folder is not called MG any longer but mgs.

Its a shame that 32Red don't just put all the Viper content on their website, my guess is that Microgaming wont provide the games for the web based side of the casino. Gutted, I so miss playing games like Coast and Summer Holidays hehe.

Rob :)

Hi Trade..i do know abit about bits & bytes. You can approach 32red Techie support about the problem first, if that does not resolve the matter, then try
deleting MG files on your pc.

As far as i know most uninstallation of software often leaves, redundant files on your pc, that's probably why i seldom download program apps on my pc..esp. those that is written in java(pain to remove).RTG software is another fine example of leaving numerous residue files on your pc.I often not only delete them from my program and data files folders on C:/ drive. I, further enter my registry using "regedit", and delete most entries..using its search function(but of course i will not be advising you to do this, unless you're apt at computers). The purpose of it all is of course removing zero bytes and redundant files, freeing up memory space, and cleaning up your pc, thus enabling your pc to work more efficently.

Have you updated all your graphics driver files on your pc, is your directx files up to date? Have you the latest shockwave flash files plugin. microgaming software uses shockwave flash plugins, so using the latest shockwave flash plugins often work.

Finally, have you malware on your pc..that you're not aware off, which explains the lagging problem on your pc.Run a full checkup with whichever virus safeguard that u uses.

Hope this helps:)

Hi Asidea. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Well, I do have the latest shockwave flash files...that much I was able to check lol. I have "geek squad" protection for my computer, as I am self employed. I call them my "IT department" and they are actually really great (24/7 support) if I have an hour of my life that I don't mind giving up, when they come on my computer remotely to check any virus or malware concerns and also tune-up my computer. Looks like it's time to contact them for a check-up and maintenance! I made some notes from your comments and will ask them to check all. You guys are all right about those old files which must be clogging my computer. I noticed today that if I played a game I may have never played before, it loads problem free. I play High Life a lot, which probably explains why it is one of the games I have the most problems with.

You guys are awesome! Thanks again all for your help!!
