Here is a transcript of my chat from Grand Fortune Casino.

The issue is that they require me to Print out, Fill in, Scan and send a shitty piece of paper before they will process my withdrawal of $100.

All this after me sending all my documents and having them accepted.

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Ralph'

Ralph: Welcome to the Live Support Chat. Could you please confirm your username , email address and the site you are inquiring about?

you: Chipkin9, me@gmail.com & Grand Fortune Casino

Ralph: Hi Paddy welcome to Live Chat service, how may I assist you today?

you: Hi, I am being caused some difficulty with the Verification procedure.

I have sent my Photographic ID, Bank Card, Birth Certificate & Letter of Residence.

I received a response saying they were accepted and saved.

I am now being told that my withdrawal of $100 will not be processed until I Print, Scan, Fill out and Send this document:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
to support@grandfotunecasino.com

Now this is a big problem for me as I have no access to a Printer or a Scanner to carry out this procedure. It is a procedure I find irrelevant and completely unnecessary, as I have sent all my documents. Is there anything you can do to resolve this issue and process my withdrawal?

Thanks,

Paddy

you: Sorry I wrote that out beforehand, and it shouldn't have came out in a block like that.

Ralph: Hi Paddy please note that the Authorization Form is required in order for our Finance Department to process your withdrawal request

you: Yes, why is it so important?

you: It is completely unnecessary.

you: No other casino requires this.

you: You have my documents.

you: Authorization for what exactly?

Ralph: That is the withdrawal procedure for Grand Fortune Casino

you: Yes, what is the Authorization Form required for?

you: You have my authorization to process my withdrawal.

you: It doesn't seem lie a legal obligation.

you: like*

you: You want a piece of paper with my signature, is that it?

you: If you want I can send an image of me holding my Photo ID, Bank Card and a signaturized piece of paper.

Ralph: To show that you authorized the use of your bank cards to make deposits on Grand Fortune Casino

you: Yes I did.

you: Why would you need that in writing.

you: I used the card.

you: Obviously I authorized it.

Ralph: Please kindly fill in and complete the Authorization Form

you: The only way I can show that I authorized it is by an image of me standing with my ID and writing out by hand.

you: Why isn't this enough?

you: It is exactly the same thing you require.

you: But with no Printer or Scanners involved.

you: Which I do not have access to.

Ralph: It is not the same thing, you are required to fill in, sign the form and send it back to us

you: That is the most bullshit requirement I have ever seen in my days of playing at online Casinos

you: What happens to players who have no access to a Printer or Scanner, do they just get robbed of thier money?

you: With no legal repercussions on Grand Fortune

Ralph: That is the Grand Fortune withdrawal process

you: Do you Rob players though?

you: Who can not print out this document?

you: They never see their money, that's stealing.

Ralph: What can be so difficult about printing and completing a form and sending it back to us?

you: I explained to you.

you: I have no Printer or Scanner that is the difficulty

you: What is so difficult about not requiring this ridiculous step?

you: You have my ID

you: Do you know how expensive Printers and Scanners are?

you: So your casino expects everyone to own these before they process withdrawals?

you: That's a huge expectation.

Ralph: You do not need to own a printer in order to use one

you: In fact it's not even expectation, it's Ill intentioned tactics employed by the casino

you: I have NO ACCESS to one

you: No one I now owns one either.

you: know*

you: So you can do absolutely nothing?

Ralph: I am afraid there is nothing I can do

you: Great!

Okay, I got a little bit carried away with my making of accusations.

Will someone tell me I am completely off my rocker or is this just too much from a casino to require.

I feel like casinos are going too far these days with regards to documents.

Some will only allow Driving License or Passport, meaning if you are a poor fecker like me who can't afford the luxury to Travel or Drive then your National ID is not enough.

Now you have this.

What next...Blood sample, Saliva and hair sample....teeth?

off the rocker my friend, i'm afraid..... not completely though :D

standard procedure at RTG outfits. pointless in my view as the card in question has been already used and those not making any withdrawal are never asked to send the form.

from what i know it is to protect them against chargebacks.

Are you new to RTG casinos? That piece of paper is completely useless in my opinion, but many RTG casinos require it. Claiming you have no access to printer. . I don't even know what to say here. Is it not the norm that you can print out papers at libraries and what have you for like a mere cost of $0.50? Are you that lazy that you can't even bother to go do that but would rather argue with the live chat? Not sure what country you're from so the services in which you can print may be limited, but in my country we can do that at libraries and there's libraries literally at everywhere.

Grand Fortune and Raging Bull are part of the same brand, and they have a contact here called JasonFTA so you may PM them if you wish, but I doubt that pm'ing a rep will help in skipping a part of a verification procedure.

Your argument against the rep are ridiculous to say the least. Claiming that requiring such a document if you don't own a printer is effectively robbing players? What a load of horseshit that one. That's like not owning any sort of identification card, passport, drivers license or what have you and claiming they're robbing you because you can't verify yourself . Stop being difficult and go get the damn paper.

Was my 1st time depositing to an RTG casino as well. I think it will be my last now as well, which is a shame because I actually enjoyed a selection of their slots and it was a nice change from NetEnt, Microgaming, WMS & Novo.

The whole procedure is just plain unnecessary in my view, no matter if it is "Standard Procedure". Like you say the card is electronically verified, as well as sending a plethora of other valid documents. It's just too far in my opinion.

I am going to have to do some asking around to see if I can get my hands on a Printer & Scanner somewhere.

I haven't used one since highschool around 15 years ago, I don't now if I can even work them anymore :p

unnecessary in view as well...ask for it before the player deposits, then i can see a reason.....ask after he deposited 100's or 1,000's and its useless.

put the doc on a USB and take it to a shop that sells printers like Courts, they maybe print it for you as a test :D

Yea I said I went a little overboard, but their requirement is ridiculous.

As for Country, it's written right there, are you too lazy to read?

Sorry for the dig, but you are quiet happy to dish them out.

I am not lazy either, no. I just am unsure if there is a Library in my local town as it's small.

And yes I will be getting the shitty little paper they want.

I just felt entitled to have a rant as the procedure is completely unnecessary. I don't know how you can't agree with that.

Had to do this

Had to do this with a couple of rtg casinos before just got a cheap $30 all in one printer and got it over with.
In this day and age it is a huge annoyance it seems its a old system that has not changed. Also used my printer to print 2 for 1 food coupons made my money back in 2 weeks :)

You know I can't see it when I'm typing a reply right? Couldn't be arsed to edit it afterwards. I'd be really surprised if your town doesn't have a service/library or whatever where you can print that paper. It seems unnecessay yes, I'm pretty sure I said that paper is pointless as well. But if they want it, they can have it. It's in their terms and you'll have to comply. I don't really see what that paper has to do with anything anyways. If it's supposed to protect them from chargebacks why is it not required from everyone who deposits? And even if you signed such paper how is that said paper exactly blocking you from doing the said chargeback?

Not sure why I felt irritated from reading your post which is why I posted what I did tho .. Been in your place too though with different circumstances. Tho with the Miami Dice case they refused to accept a valid ID but your case is a bit different .. If it's in their terms (which it is) to sign a stupid paper like that then you have to. I doubt it has to be scanned, a photo of a printed paper should suffice though. You also could be scummy and photoshop your signature into the said document without ever printing it.. just saying

Just know though, that this paper is a norm for RTG casinos. It won't be the last time they ask you of this if you keep playing at them. Perhaps the more decent RTG casinos don't ask for it though .. iNetBet?

If/when you get paid though, let us know? I've been actually thinking that what goes on at Grand Fortune and Raging Bull is dodgy to say the least .. They send out $65 free chips like literally every two weeks, and they keep having the same promo over and over again claiming it's for a limited time but as soon as it expired, it's on again. The said promo is 200% bonus without wagering or max cashout, even though ALL of the other promos at their sites have 10x deposit max cashout . Not to mention no wagering .. Even with sticky bonus, it still seems too good to be true. It seems too much like Loco Panda for example, who used to pay out but then eventually ended up being a rogue piece of crap with stalled payments and what have you.

See, now who's too lazy? ;)

I looked it up and my town actually does have a Library, but I thought it was more convenient to just go buy an All in One Scanner and Printer from Amazon and some A4 Paper for £37 total. Luckily I had a nice cashout at Rizk yesterday.

If you look at my profile you will see one of my interests is "Staying indoors" :p

That's the sad thing, although it's completely bullshit, I do have to comply if I want to see the money and there's no two ways about.

I don't know how having it would stop chargebacks...chargebacks are foreign to me to be honest, I've never had to go through the process and probably wouldn't know where to begin, but I would imagine if someone tried to claim a chargeback, they could legally just present that document to the bank attempting to make the chargeback and the bank couldn't proceed with your claim for chargeback.

Don't worry about it. I have a certain way to trigger people, it's one of my many secret powers

And your last paragraph...I'll let you know, no problem. After reading the T&C's to their no max promo earlier....it says the max weekly cashout is $1250

Well, my Printer arrived on the 25th of January.

I printed the Authorization Form they wanted, filled it in, then scanned it and sent it to them.

I received an Email saying everything is now great and my withdrawal will be processed.

After some impatience Live Chat also confirmed this.

However last night (28th) my withdrawal has been returned to my account and has not been processed.

I sent an Email asking for the reason why, and the response was "Please be informed that it’s takes 48-72hours in the pending period then 5-10 working days for the payment to reach your account."

I replied that wasn't an answer or explanation to why they have not processed my withdrawal and instead returned it to my account. I am now waiting on another Email. I am betting it will be the same shit....no answer, just run rings around me.

In all my years of online gambling, I have never ever came across a more inept customer support services. And it's not even ineptitude, it is complete and utterly deliberate.

I can not wait to wash my hands of this "Group".

I will update you again. But it's not looking good for/from this Casino.

I also had a look at the Rep you mentioned (Thanks for that), but he hasn't been online since the 9th of January (I think), so not much point in contacting him if he is just going to be exactly like the casino he represents, slow to respond and absolutely careless.

With what correspondence I've had with Jason, I can say that he's a nice person and actually does seem to care. He's helped me on multiple occasions with things and has been fast with replies as well. I had a small issue with Grand Fortune last year on June where I had broken a rule unknowingly and contacted him about it .. He helped me, and got me paid. So at least back then, Grand Fortune was a good casino. But ..

As I explained before now the Casino practices seem to have turned "dodgy" and given my past experience with some terrible RTG's there's just too many similarities now. It's hard to say why and whether Jason is even related to Grand Fortune anymore or perhaps I am worrying about it for no reason and they do still pay out .. Surely it won't hurt to at least message him? We discussed things over email though .. perhaps you could try sending him a message through there? He replied very fast. I'll give you his e-mail thru PM if you'd like.

Yea, that would be excellent Distrance. PM me his E-mail and I'll see if I can get in touch with him through that and find out if he his still affiliated with Grand Fortune.

I am hopeful I'll get paid, but the cheap tactics these Casino's employ really get on my tits ;)

Thanks for the help

Reps will get an email when they are sent a PM. Just because they have not logged in does not mean they won't respond if a player contacts them. Use the request read receipt option, then you know if they saw it. I forgot that feature recently, it would have saved me some aggravation.

That's a good idea Jazzy...completely forgot he would receive an Email telling him he had a PM. Didn't know about the request read option.

Will write to him now, Thanks.

Ah that's a good idea Jasmine, did not think of that. Well, it's a good idea at least of the recipient has used an e-mail address they actually check. Last time I did talk to Jason I could in fact not get in touch with him thru CM PM's though, which is when I went for the e-mail approach and got a swift reply. I've sent you the PM just in case chipkin9, but let's hope he just comes through from the forum.

If a rep does not respond to forum pm's, Bryan should be let know.

I'll bear that in mind Jazz.

I have PM'd him now and also sent him an Email, thanks to Distrance for the address.

I'm not in a huge rush with him, I just want it sorted.

If he is unresponsive after say 14 days or so I'll contact Bryan and inform him of it ;)

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not being active in the last few months. I have actually been working on another project and I am no longer involved in the reputation management of the GF brand. But having said that, I am always more than happy to help you guys out. Please give me a moment to work through the post/queries and I will respond accordingly.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Best Regards
Jason

Ps.... maybe admin can just have a look at my account. I am not getting PM or thread notifications to my email addy. Neither pw reset emails.
A good friend and active member here on CM was kind enough to bring this thread to my attention yesterday.

Chat soon!

Hi Chipkin9,

Thanks for the PM. I responded and will be looking into this for you. I promise to get to the bottom of this for you.

Thanks very much Jason, I greatly appreciate this.

I would also like to apologize for my remark on page 2 stating "There is no point contacting the Rep if he is just going to be like the Casino he represents, slow to respond and careless"

It's obvious you take what you do seriously and actually do care...in hindsight it was a really silly comment to make before having even contacted you...So Sorry for that

Hahaha.... No offence taken. Believe me, I have endured way more abuse ...lol...
The withdrawal team will be in shortly and then I promise I will get to the bottom of this.

I just want to apologise to everyone for the absence of an agent. I will see what I can find out about getting an active rep or maybe talking over this role again.

Best Regards
Jason
