GoWild Casino?

TBH, growing pains are to be expected from any new startup, and based on their performance AFTER their opening-day blunder, I think they are slowly redeeming themselves. In the end, did they not pay every legitimate player that was due any money?

Once MG opens up their doors again to new American players (hopefully very soon,) I wouldn't put it past them to be the 32Red for Americans.

Their support reps are nothing but friendly, fast, and polite. They have live chat, answer e-mails in a timely fashion, etc. All the makings of a top-notch casino if they continue down the road they're on. Just give them time...

Surely I could handle some 'teething' problems with a new outfit but the experience I had with them was much more than that. A host of lies on the method I should be paid together with quite some certainty that they were underfunded make me wary. Obviously it's a case of 'once bitten twice shy'. I think, within this forum , VWM was the only one to be paid promptly in their early days. Me, Nifty and a whole lot of others were given the runaround.

I can certainly understand where you're coming from, and if I had been caught up in that whole fiasco during their opening fiasco, I'd by quite a bit gunshy about playing there as well....

But, actions speak louder than words, and I think we're all in agreement about the 'time will tell' statement....

Here's my next-to-last update on my withdrawal....Keep in mind that I won this on a Saturday night, submitted my documents on Sunday afternoon, and as of noon today, it's been processed and (hopefully) on its way to my bank. I'll post as soon as it hits.

Great news, winbig.

By the way, how do you email chat transcript to yourself, i did not see any button to do that...?

I was able to win from the free chips they sent me (max allowed).
I find their support is really good and friendly though, seem like they really know what they are talking about that unfortunately i cant say about all casino CSR's i had to speak/chat with.

If you look at the top right of the chat window, there's a box that says "e-mail." Click on that, then a box pops up asking for your email address..throw it in there and click...I think it's go or whatever, you'll see it. Doing this won't throw you out of chat...

Or, just simply click "close" when the chat is over and it'll take you to a survey screen asking about how your chat was and all that good stuff. At the very top it'll ask you if you want a transcript mailed, as well.

And thanks :) This is perfect timing, as my son's 15th birthday is coming at the end of the month. This will give me plenty of time to order and get him a new DSi that just came out yesterday. :D

Holy Speed Demons, Batman! Re: GoWild

oh my god....I'm STILL in shock. My documents were approved yesterday, on a Sunday, of all days.

  :eek2: :eek2:

:notworthy :notworthy

In the interests of keeping related discussion together, I've merged your last post in with this thread, Winbig.

:p okie dokie :)

As always, I get 1 big ticket item when I hehe Win Big...This time it's a Panasonic LN40B530 40" 1080p LCD HDTV ;)

Just ordered it...had my eye on it for awhile..

I did play a little AFTER the initial fiasco, and did NOT win from my sign-up bonus, but a follow on one, AND I played ONLY on the slot games. I find playing well within the terms to the extent of avoiding the table games completely with a sign-up bonus often leaves me with no problems other than the usual presenting of documents for the first cash-out.
I have also been in regular communications with one of their VIP managers, who gives the appearance of taking my views as a player VERY seriously. I have seen some of my suggestions implemented within a week or two. This maybe coincidence, but may also mean they are trying EXTRA hard after courting disaster earlier.
Many may feel it is best to wait a while to see if they can keep it up, and this is wise. How existing players get treated does not necessarily relate to how new players get treated, since new players have no history with the casino.
Most of their initial problems were down to a badly designed new player promotion, and the way they dealt with it at first. The fact that Floyd appeared to run for cover when things got sticky did them no favours, but it seems that Floyd is still an active rep here, although he has not posted for quite some time.

Hearing that they were on the mend, I made a small deposit, won a little and went straight for the cashier. Cashout was initially denied because of an automatic bonus but this was resolved immediately after I went to live chat. Cashed out and money was almost immediately credited to my ecocard account. Quite impressed. I hope they keep this up.

This is what I spent some of my winnings on. It was under $900, with free shipping...you can't beat that with a stick! Plus, I posted my old 32" 720p Vizio HD on Craigslist on a Sunday, and it was sold by Tuesday for $350.

This one is a 40" Samsung, full 1080p HD, optical audio out, 3HDMI, etc.. The model # LN40B530P7FXZA if you're interested in getting one....the best price I've found is ~$877 with free shipping. Quite the deal.

Blu-ray movies look amazing on it :D

What flavour is it Win, Samsung??

Are you going to dual your monitors so you can have casinomeister open and play your games etc?

Makes my PC-dedicated 26" Samsung (I agree that these flats are superb) look a little small by comparison!

I'm currently looking for a new general entertainment flattie and wanted a 42", but locally Samsung and the other top brand Sony jump from 40" to 46"...and the prices we pay here are about 25 to 30 percent more than you paid for that very nice new addition to your Intenret gear, Win.

Enjoy it!

Glad they are on the mend. I deposited and played early on, and their CS was super. It's good when a casino gives their CS authority to deal with player issues.

I was hoping all these well trained CSR's would not be unemployed.

Bump

This group still have a few kinks to work out. I opened my account back when most of us did using the $30 free chip to give them a try. When things went all pear shaped for many of our regulars I decided to give them a wide berth as most here did. I then just forgot about them till Winbig did well and I decided to check them out again. I have made about 4 or 5 deposits I think. No cashouts but plenty of low-rolling play for my money. My last session was yesterday. This morning I get an email from Sean.

I screw about with it a bit never even thinking about wagering requirements ( it was only 5 bucks) and decide to cash out at $125 but the cashier page says "You have not met the wagering requirements to cash out. Bonus amount of $19.72 , cash amount of $105.28. It was a $5 chip, where are they getting this figure from? Off to chat I go.

Sheila: Hello and welcome to GoWild :)
Sheila: Sheila is here for you today
Me: Hello Sheila,
Sheila: Hello there
Sheila: How are you Cynthia?
Me: I got a $5 bonus today and managed to play it up to $125 but it says I can't withdraw because bonus amount is still at $19.72.
How does the bonus work? It was only $5 dollars.
Me: Fine, thanks for asking.
Sheila: Let me check that for you please
Me: Thanks
Sheila: Cynthia, I can see that you have recieved 18 as a deposit bonus today.
Sheila: This 5 you received was added to that, and it counts as if you received 23 bonus
Sheila: After you finish the wagering, the whole amount will be transfered to your cash balance
Sheila: And you will be able to withdraw your winnings
Me: When was the 18 put in and what was it for. Why was I not given any notice?
Me: How can I verify that I got 18 in bonus money? Playcheck?
Sheila: On every deposit you make you are automatically given a bonus
Me: But I did not make a deposit today. I have already gotten the deposit bonuses on each of my deposits.
Sheila: Yes, you always get bonuses on your deposits
Sheila: And you can check it, of course
Me: What is the ratio for these extra bonuses please? And also when are they credited? On a certain day of each month or how?
Sheila: You can go to MY account, and then to My game history
Sheila: Pick show my log in sessions from day 0 until now
Sheila: When the page loads, press view on the first session
Sheila: And when the next page loads pick show detailed statement on the top of the page
Me: Ok, I got that.
Me: Now can you tell me about when they are credited? Is it every week or how?
Sheila: Great
Sheila: It is credited for each of your deposits
Me: But not at the time of the deposit? Like the 35% ones that I have been getting? I get those at time of deposit. These are different?
Sheila: It is automatically, still, we can arrange special offers for you should you come to live chat
Me: Oh, I see.
Me: Well, alright then Sheila. Thanks for your time.
Me: Goodnight.
Sheila: You are most welcome
Sheila: Good night and I hope to see you soon with some great news :)

As you can see it was a bit confusing and I would have noticed a jump in my bankroll of $18 I can assure you so off to playcheck I went. What I find is the $18 bonus she is talking about is from a deposit yesterday which was mailed to me for 35% on $50 or more. They must round up as it should have been $17.50 but regardless, the deposit and bonus were played down to absolute zero.

So off to chat with Sheila I go.

info: You are now chatting with 'Sheila'
Sheila: Hello and welcome back
Cynthia: Hello Sheila, me again. Sorry.
Sheila: No worries, I am here for you :)
Cynthia: I went to playcheck and took a screen shot of the page which shows that the 18 dollars was on a deposit yesterday of $50 which I played all of and zeroed out on. How can that bonus be tacked on to this one if it was zeroed out last night and this bonus was emailed to me today?
Sheila: I will explain everything
Sheila: Now let me explain please
Sheila: As you have not finished your previous bonus before another one is issued, the wagering required has been added to the previous one
Sheila: That is why you always should make sure you have no balance on your account when you receive new bonuses
Cynthia: I do understand what you are saying. I hope you understand me when I say I was ZERO balance.
Cynthia: Playcheck screen shot of zero balance.
Sheila: Cynthia, if you have at least 3 cents, it is added to your previous bonus and its wagering requirement
Sheila: I hope you understand that.
Sheila: Still, I can check that for you
Cynthia: Playcheck shows that I spent 4 cents on the last spin to zero it out.
Cynthia: You need to check hun because this morning when I got that email and logged in, there was $5 dollars only. No Cents.
Sheila: Was it before you received a new bonus?
Cynthia: Yes, last night. I zeroed out.
Sheila: Please let me check that for you
Cynthia: Thanks
Sheila: Thank you for your patience, this will take a few moments more
Cynthia: No problem here.
Sheila: I apologize my dear, I am making sure everything is double checked
Sheila: And as I am working on that, do you still need the previous chat sent to your email?
Cynthia: I copied and pasted it. Thanks.
Sheila: You most welcome
Cynthia: One of the chat windows, this one for instance, has that ability at the top. And one of them does not.
Sheila: Yes, the two are different
Sheila: Please stay with me for a few moments more
Cynthia: I am just reading at a forum. I have plenty of time Sheila.
Sheila: Thank you
Sheila: And Cynthia, I checked everything for you and I will send an email to my manager and describe the situation
Sheila: He will investigate this matter for you and you will receive a reply in the next few days
Sheila: I apologize for any inconvenience
Cynthia: Were you able to see that I was indeed at zero last night?
Sheila: Yes, I can see that
Cynthia: Superb.
Cynthia: Thanks so much for all of your time tonight.
Sheila: I was just checking everything for you because I was trying to find out what happened
Sheila: Still, my manager will do that for you :)
Sheila: Thank you for your patience, you will receive our email as soon as we look into the matter
Cynthia: I look forward to it.
Cynthia: Goodnight Sheila.
Sheila: Good night and thank you once again :)

So there we are. I have deposited several hundred dollars there with no withdrawals and I never expected to be up on a $5 chip but I am. It is probably just some glitch and I am hopeful they will remove the $18 bonus wr leaving me just under $2 bucks worth of bonus requirements to wager but you just never know anymore. I will let you all know. :)

With some confidence, I think they will do exactly as you wished Cyn. At the last deposit I made they automatically credited my account with a 50% bonus. I contacted live chat and they removed it immediately. They also gave me some free spins for my trouble.

I thought there may be something wrong with the Playcheck system or the way bonuses were being wagered off and canceled out the last time that I played at Villento. (Similar situation to yours) This may be a system wide issue and not just a "GoWild" one. Let us know what the manager comes back and tells you there Cyn.

This may be a system wide issue and not just a "GoWild" one.

Yes, I think it's probably a system wide problem. I had a similar problem at GoldenTiger when I played there with a deposit + bonus. My cash was gone and I had only a few bonus bucks in my account, then I hit a feature win of almost 100 and the half of that went to the bonusbalance. :eek2:
Never mind. I lost it all, but next time I should contact support. :axeman2:

sigh,

Dear Cynthia,

I have reviewed your account and it seems that was some kind on system
error in your account which caused some of your winnings to be added to
your bonus balance instead of being added to cash balance.
I have sent a query to our technical department but i see no reason why
you should have to wait any longer and so , i have taken off the 18$ of
the bonus balance and you may continue playing.

Im very sorry for the inconvenience and i wish you the best of luck.

Sincerely yours,

Sean E.
Vip manager

So they have taken the $18 out of my bonus balance but they did NOT return it to my cash balance. Off to playcheck I go to find that never was any bonus of $18 or any amount credited to this session on the account subsequent to the opening $ 5 chip. I went page by page and all of the credits/debits were for slot pulls. So the $18 they removed from bonus was my winnings and needs to be replaced to my cash balance. I will keep the forum informed of any resolution.

Well, they are looking into it again. :(

info: You are now chatting with 'Erika'
Erika: Hello Cynthia :)
Erika: A warm welcome from the GoWild team
Cynthia: Hello Erika, I am hoping to find Sheila or Sean available as they are familiar with my problem.
Erika: They're not in at the moment :(
Cynthia: Bummer.
Erika: How may I assist you dear?
Cynthia: OK, shall we start at the beginning?
Erika: No need
Cynthia: Ohh, so you are familiar?
Erika: I will review your account in a moment and I will be :)
Cynthia: Lovely
Erika: Have you seen the email Sean sent you?
Erika: The one stating that he removed the unwanted bonus
Cynthia: The $5 grew to about 150 and I kept playing down to 125 and went to withdrawl. A prompt came up saying I still had 19 plus in bonus still in there
Cynthia Wright: They said they would look into it.
Erika: I can see Sean took the bonus off for you and I'm happy to inform you that you have nothing on the bonus balance now
Erika: Therefore you are free to withdraw if that is your wish :)
Cynthia: But there is still a problem Erika.
Cynthia: The 18 dollars bonus was from previous day deposit and was all played to zero before getting the 5 dollar one. We know that.
Cynthia: So today he wrote that an error had put 18 more into my bonus account and he had removed it.
Erika: Thats correct
Cynthia: I have been to playcheck and gone through every single item and at no time was a bonus added to my play. I managed to get the balance up to over $140 simply playing slots.
Cynthia: So when he took that 18 out of bonus he should have put it into my cash. That is exactly where it belongs and the playcheck logs back this up.
Erika: I understand your concern now
Erika: And I will gladly explain it to you
Erika: Once the bonus is added to your account, all you see is the full amount
Erika: Meaning you saw 140 total (cash balance+bonus balance)
Erika: And you could not withdraw while you had bonus in your balance
Erika: Therefore Sean took off the 18, and you were left with the rest :)
Erika: Which stayed on your cash balance
Cynthia: No 18 bonus had been added at all. Playcheck tracks the rise in my balance and it is all from winnings. Even Sean's own letter states this.
Cynthia Wright:

Cynthia Wright: some of my WINNINGS were added to bonus wrongly.
Erika: I understand that
Erika: The technical department will review this little issue and we will get a feedback from them as soon as possible
Erika: We apologize for the inconvenience one more time
Erika: And thank you for your patience :)
Cynthia Wright: So the 18 removed from bonus was my WINNINGS and should not have been reomoved.
Erika: I agree with you there
Cynthia: Thank you Erika and I know we will get this figured out.
Cynthia: I appreciate your time.
Erika: Of course Cynthia
Erika: It was my peasure
Erika: pleasure*
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to me at the end of your chat.
Erika: We will settle this as soon as possible
Cynthia: Super
Erika: We want you to be happy and Wild :)

So there we are. Records show no 18 dollar figure added anywhere in playcheck be it to bonus or cash. The issue just sort of POPPED up when going to withdrawal. Hmmmm. Well, I have now spent more time on this than the value of the error but I will perservere. Neither rain, nor snow, now dead of night will keep me from being re-united with my long lost ill gotten gains. :D

Cyn,

The live chat people are not good at actually examining what is wrong. However, they have been trained not to argue with the customer so if you go back to live chat tell them that apart from the $5 free chip, the rest are your winnings and the $18 should not merely be deducted from the bonus balance but should be converted to real money. If they cant do this for one reason or another they should compensate you with something else. This should, however, only occur after a successful cashout otherwise the bonuses will be all mixed up again.

Oops. Missed your last post.

THis is a system wide MICROGAMING issue, and has been around for YEARS!!!

Many, many players are getting screwed over by this bug, but often just don't notice. THis was noticed because the $5 went on a zeroed account, and after some significant play, the bonus balance was GREATER than the bonus, which is IMPOSSIBLE if the system is working properly.

This is down to Microgaming, they need to pull their heads out of their a**** and get around to dealing with all these bugs in the system. Just because it is rarely noticed, does NOT excuse the inaction on it, after all, the bug is effectively STEALING player's own cash depostis by shunting some into the bonus balance.

The error ocurred here because a free chip was added onto the zero balance, which itself was a zeroed out BONUS. The system FAILS under these conditions (free chip straight on top of zeroed bonus).

This problem has ALREADY been taken to Microgaming by another casino, and Microgaming have explained the issue, so they CANNOT now have ANY excuse for it's still being there.
