Goodbye EWX, hello Logan Pay

I am a frequent depositor in casinos and poker sites, so needless to say this EWX business has my proverbial shorts in a bunch... But hours after I confirmed with my bank that any more transfers from Navaho Networks (parent of EWX) would be returned and my account might be closed, I see this new option called LoganPay in my RichReels and CasinoShare banking center... I am making my first deposit as we speak, and I will keep you updated.

Its an ACH transfer wallet, and according to this first part, you can make one $100 to $300 deposit during the initial 7 days verification period, and I am not sure what the limits increase after that... So Long Meister Girls and Boys!

I never heard of this option before until Villento posted it on Twitter. I checked it out, and it looks like a good option, I just hate that you have to wait 7 days for the check to clear.

Do you have to wait that long to play each time you deposit, or is it a one time verification process? I tried to ask CSR on live chat yesterday, but couldn't get a clear answer.

I am new to the E-Wallets, I usually use my WP card, but yesterday that quit working for me as well.

My Logan Pay initial deposit was instantly credited also, but its now been 5 business days and it still shows as a pending transaction and hasnt arrived at my bank. So for right now, its a "one hit" wonder.

But will report back when it clears. It is concerning though that now it seems each site is developing its own ewallet relationship with yet one more company we have to give all our most private banking information to......

I felt better when it was a few central ones commonly used by most sites. Instead of all these one-off wallet services. But then I have been called paranoid at time. A few years back my paypal account got hacked and only by sheer chance did I check it and see a $2500 transfer showing up that I had NOT authorized. It was over a tense weekend, but on MOnday my bank was able to stop the transaction from going through. I then closed my paypal account and never opened one again.

In my opinion, with all the trouble with Ewalletxpress and with QT up and down, you will see more and more ewallets appearing. Whether these will be legitimate deposit/withdrawal options, time will tell. I'd be leery about opening too many accounts before some intense research is done. We all worry about rogue casinos, but with options for US players slowly dwinding away, perhaps US players show start worrying about roguish ewallets.

The casinos don't want to lose too many players, so they will be promoting anything they can to keep the players they have. I'd also be wary of new ewallets catering to US players only. Call me paranoid, but who's to say the government doesn't start one to track who is "illegally" playing online and how they are funding their accounts...

I tend to agree and would advise caution. The implementation of the UIGEA re-opened the door for fraudulent and criminal organisations, as many here have found out to their cost, so take care who you trust.

I agree, US players should be very cautious anymore. But I am concerned by the fact that with the seizure of Ewallet, former Firepay, Neteller that cut us off, can't help but wonder what they have done with our own personal and financial matters already.

Personaly I am paranoid when it comes to this government as it is not just casinos that are rogue.

You're gonna have to trust someone or some group's word that it's safe someday or just quit and go back to B&M casinos

At this point what I do trust is the casinos that still use the Verified by Visa. This way I am dealing only with them and my debit. Having a wallet that is obviously vulnerable to scrutiny by the feds is a concern. But it is probably only a matter of time before the verified by visa is no longer available, as they have recently changed how that worked as well.

But I have quit playing online, with only a rare bit of play at times. Frankly, for the sake of avoiding all the headaches that have been escalating for the US player, going back to the B&M is the best option.

Who really needs all the bull that has come along with playing online? You worry about getting paid, worry about getting docs verified, worry about if you do get paid, will you get it or will the government or processor abscond with your money. I know I am not the only one that has these concerns.

Since 2006, we have lost many great casinos and softwares that we always enjoyed, then we lost the right to play progressives with MG, then the new games with MG, then we get shuffled around by the remaing casinos trying to stay ahead of the feds and keep us depositing.

Many players are waiting to see what will happen with the UIGEA, will it mean the doors will open wide for us again, or slammed shut permanently. At this point none of us can be sure which way the tide will turn, but players or not we are all here voicing or thoughts on the matter, discussing the ups and downs, while waiting for someone to give us official news that things are back to normal, or the end of online gaming for US players.

Couldn't have said it better Mavin..The wife and I were just discussing this and have come to the same conclusion..We are going back to land base casino..In fact we just got back from Biloxi,,IP casino, Had a great time, and was comped everthing plus 150.00 free play,AND FREE DRINKS lol,(still not the comfort of your own living room) But online is just not worth the hassle ..And I am sure there are LOTS who feel this way..So it will be interesting to see how it all turns out....

It is very concerning to have to give more info to more places.

Diane, it is not paranoid thoughts when you have real reason to be concerned. I am amazed at the people that seem to gladly give out info just to be able to play. Myself included sometimes.

These overnight e-wallets that seem to be popping up every day and as an USA gambler, I am becoming very leery of the instant fixes.

The casinos don't want to lose too many players, so they will be promoting anything they can to keep the players they have. I'd also be wary of new ewallets catering to US players only. No, once again, it is not paranoia when you start to worry and think about these pop up e-wallet services. I would simply call it self-preservation.

You're gonna have to trust someone or some group's word that it's safe someday or just quit and go back to B&M casinos

The word trust carries a lot of weight...
What have the casinos done lately to instill trust in their players????

Denied winnings due to some faulty loophole which can be manipluated to ONLY benefit the casino. Label loyal players as negative value players or bonus abusers. Make you jump through hoops to become verified to claim winnings in days/weeks, when they took your money INSTANTANEOUSLY so you could play at their casino.

Trust is earned, and personally, I think most of the online casinos look at the players as if they are deaf, dumb and stupid....

"Look at this player...multiple deposits in a row and no wins. Sooooo, we'll give them a too-good-too-be-true bonus;
Let them win;
Then pull the rug out from underneath them...There must be SOME term we can manipulate to screw them over...
NEXT ....."

As deposit/withdrawal options disappear in the US market, (and this is just my opinion again) and some kind of settlement for the UIGEA lurks in the background...The borderline rogue/non-rogue casinos will do anything they can to keep making money off the unsuspecting player for as long as they can. Cause once the US players either lose it all (in respect to having the ability to fund and play online) or gain back all the liberties which were stripped from us, players will remember WHO remained trustworthy through thick and thin. And I honestly believe the number of trustworthy casinos will be so small you will only need one hand to count them on.

Every day, players are complaining about "honest" casinos becoming unscrupulous in treatment of their patrons. Is this a sign of what's to come? There has to be some type of give and take to remain in business. You wouldn't continue shopping at a store which one day sells you BEER for $3.00/6-pack and then the next day (and henceforth) it's $10/6-pack. No, you look around and get the best deal you can. And you remain "true" to the store who isn't trying to rip you off.

Everyone understands they are a business out to make money, but at what extreme do you go to before you've gone too far? WHO decides when enough is enough? Only the PLAYER can decide that. Only the PLAYER can decide where to play. It all boils down to how much tolerance does a person have before they say..."Enough, you've gotten enough of my money. The stress/aggravation just isn't worth it".

So, if these casinos want to keep the player base they have, they need to figure out how to KEEP the players they have. They need to EARN the trust and respect of its players through actions. Words can be twisted around too easily and misinterpreted. Actions alone (whether it be through well-read CSR, or well written T&Cs) will decide who the "trustworthy" online casinos are.

This all sounds good, but the real question is are you going to continue playing with what limited regulations we have today or just quit?

Trust is earned lol how do you intend to get that without trial and error?

Examples of trust I've seen here:

A players starting a thread that so and so casino payed them within 24 hrs

A thread started by a player saying, oh look I won this from so and so casino, slots are not tight here.

A flashy sig from affiliates on their forum boards saying click these. Ok this one I don't trust :)

And last but not least play only on accredited casinos.

You can't tell me every member here only plays from the accredited casinos section.

Knocks on wood but I have yet to get burned by any casino, because I trust my research, google and instincts also I trust them more when I get paid.

Thank you forum members you guys are all great.

Guess I have to recant my position on this now also. Today I received, yet again, an irregular activity alert from my banks fraud department. I had played at a clone, they coded the deposit as xxxxx downloads. So my check card is blocked until I verify this is my transaction.

Frankly this is getting to be more than to much. I asked the cs in the fraud department why this was flagged and she said because I have never had a xxxxx download in my history.

So by them circumventing the feds, we are being put under the microscope by our banks. I find this more than an annoyance to deal with after having a bit of play online.

So new wallets opening up, I guess the die hards will use every avenue possible to keep playing online, so I hope it works out well. For me, it is just to ridiculous anymore. I really hate jumping through hoops in every phase of the game.

@smokeycasino...
Obviously, some casino (whether accreditted or not) has EARNED your trust. It may have been due to fast payouts, great bonus' with workable wagering requirements, prompt and courteous CSR. Whatever it may be, the casino of YOUR choice has PROVEN trustworthy in your eyes.

The only thing the forum is good for is a sounding board. It's not here to TELL you which casino you have to play at or which one NOT to play at. It gives you valuable information, from others' experiences, as to what you can expect. Every players' experiences will be different and every players level of trust will be different.

As far as the accreditted casinos go...I'm sure not ALL players play at accreditted casinos only. BUT, at least with the accreditted casinos, you have people in YOUR corner IF you ever encounter a problem. And the service is free!

I sincerely hope you continue playing without any problems. You're one of the lucky ones! There are a few here who happened upon this place because of some type of dodgy workings. And through support from fellow members, staff, and even some conscientious casino reps, have decided to stay and give input (maybe not always appreciated) to try and help out other fellow gamblers.

I still stand by my statement about trust being earned. And I quit playing online a few months ago. I personally, wasn't comfortable with trying to find ways to deposit, and then worry about if my bank was going to block an international wire transfer from the casino or an ewallet. Less stress for me. But, to each their own.

One time wonder from my experience

Trying to get info on Logan Pay. Can't find the website. Anyone have it?

I used Logan Pay via Villento almost 2 weeks ago. Deposited $200, the check cleared my account in 5 business days. The check was endorsed by Buyvo Group. Did a google on this name & could not get much more info except it's an e-wallet processor, headquarters based in Fla.

I have given the appropriate amount of time notated for this feature (7 business days) to be verified and have yet had the ability to make another deposit. Every single time I get an error message. Could it be that Logan Pay has already hit a snag with US issues? Has anyone encountered this?

All Jackpots sent out an email stating they have noticed I have been trying to deposit, suggesting the new feature Logan Pay? Duh! I have tried & tried again to no avail. Sent AJ/VIP support a message, they respond I must get in touch with Logan Pay support, which btw is NON-EXISTANT! Big dead end! No link & they had no further info to provide. That's a big red flag to me!

Just wanted to post my experience, so far. Gonna lay low for now & heed the advice of others until this whole fiasco subsides. Guess, I'll go shopping instead.;)

Friend

I have been an online player for many years. Mostly all blackjack. Deposits are changing due to 2006 bill and passed in 2009. Banks now will be scrutinized for all transactions related to gambling. Still not illegal for players and casinos but any
wire act sending money for gambling, banks can be fined, etc. CC also are looked at but some visa banks overlook, sometimes. I was with ewxpress over 7 years and still dont know my status but I cant deposit as of now. I have used echeck successfully at pantasia(lost,of course) but it works for now

I have shared a very similar experience. I depo'd 200 at casinoshare 2 weeks ago. It cleared my bank that week, but when I checked the loganpay link in the banking center, it said for the first 10 days that I had to wait for the 7 day time period to re-depo with loganpay, and after that, it has since said I am ineligible to depo with logan pay. Customer support at casino-share.com (us facing casino-share) is absent minded on a great day, and repeatedly reminds me that loganpay is a great deposit method, while I am inquiring about what makes me ineligble to depo via logan pay.

Its awesome bc they are so, lets say, absent minded.

I asked villento/rr about the logan pay feature and its lack of google searchability, and they said the reason I am running into a dead end is because its a part of their e-cash payment processor. Everytime I try to squeeze any more proverbial water out of the figurative rock which is their CSR team, they tell me that Quicktender is a great option.

Me: "Well the problem is, QT has its CC processor disabled too." I add, kinda frustrated.
Them: "Oh MY! Good News Dustin! You have just been awarded 40 spins on Cashapillar for ur loyalty! Enjoy!

really2.JPG

Then I just move on, play a lil 'red/black' on the turn with a poker buddy, and wait for QT to allow deposits at 4pm est.

Wow, my life is awesome. Or pathetic. Depending on ur perspective it is def. one of the two.
