WARNING GoldenBet, MANY complaints and MANY unpaid players

I have seen the email they send to everyone and word for word they are identical on each of the sites you mention along with Mystake. From some Compliance Team person but it's simply a template email. There was a thing about a lawyer in Curacao going through the email they had sent to players basically debunking every comment they make - might be on another site but was funny to see it.

Over the past few months we've received an unusually large number of complaints against Goldenbet.com. Most concern unpaid winnings, often for large amounts. The remainder are issues regarding locked accounts and ignored self-exclusion requests. Needless to say this is troubling.

The casino's responses to these complaints began as "we're in communication with the player" which turned out to mean they'd simply quoted some Terms to the player and then said "issue closed". Recently they've simply defaulted to saying "to investigate this case it is fundamental to be contacted by the account owner" when they obviously have been contacted by the account owner and the account owner was unhappy with the results, so they came to us. The bottom line is that this is classic "we don't want to deal with anyone but the player and we'll deal with the player as we see fit". In other words, "talk to the hand".

At one point the casino did say "Unfortunately, our website ... is not listed on your website" by which they mean they don't make money off of Casinomeister so that's (one of) their reason(s) for not taking action on player complaints we send them. That's a Rogue casino stunt and GoldenBet is looking very much like a prime candidate for being added to the list.

FWIW GoldenBet is a Curaçao 1668/JAZ licensed casino and as many of you will know that is usually Very Bad News. See 1668/JAZ licensee issues - Casinomeister's Forum: Largest Online Casino Community Since 1998 for a whole lot more on that.

UPDATE: GoldenBet now claims to be licensed in Africa:

"Goldenbet.com is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros"

WARNING: GoldenBet is confiscating player balances by either locking accounts or accusing players of unsubstantiated Terms violations, and then locking their accounts. Player complaints are being ignored, so we are unable to assist. Players are STRONGLY advised to look elsewhere for their iGaming services.
This has now happened to me for ages I have played received some lower winnings now asking for verification of card that has never deposited with. When asked to send me proof of this being used there is no response. What a joke they are

Another company that deploys dodgy Russian/Ukranian payment processors to hide transactions. Are their games legit? Yes probably - but why bother continuing the dodgy practices? They are one of the groups on the "list of 9" under investigation by Mastercard/VISA linked to the article in the Guardian a few months back.

Well I am just researching golden bet as I won £37,500 over the weekend after registering on Friday. Ive requested £7500 (i can only withdraw £15000 per month and £7500 a week. I cant even request the next £7500 until next weekend as they said I need a "cooling off period" before I withdraw lol.
I hope I get my money.

Ouch. Sorry to tell you, with our knowledge of this rogue site and its absolute reluctance to pay, I cannot have any confidence you'll see a penny.

You can see even now the scammy tactics, you've just told us about the first - a 'cooling off period' before you can withdraw, hoping you'll sort their liability out for them by reversing and spunking the winnings back. That is a red light alarm and something which no genuine casino will do.

If you use discipline and wait this period out, their next tactic will be bogus document checks to delay further, or responsible gambling concerns, in the case of the latter to disable your account.

There are no terms with these sites - they make them up as they go along, interpret them how they want and pretty much can be summed up in one sentence: "We'll take deposits from wherever and whomever we decide and all cash-outs are at our sole discretion."

Also the problem is that it gives you a 'dodgy' bank statement.

Today I got £7500 credited to my bank account. So I guess we will see what happens with the rest.
Wow, that is a result, I would never have predicted that based on previous performance. Had I been in your shoes I'd have bitten their hand off to be guaranteed 7.5k from 37.5k as I would have expected zilch. You've got 20% thus far of the total.

Any more payments after this I think you would have been very fortunate. Reason I say this is because if you've seen above, it's occurred before where players have got some but not all of their money.

I hope you can buck that trend mate!

I use skrill on fiat deposit on BC, withdraw takes from 5min to 24hrs, Deposit takes 5mins, you can only deposit on Euro they charger no fees, only Skrill charger 1% on deposit from bank to Skrill
So Skrill works? Are they not classified as "Fintech" I have a huge problem with BC.game trying to get my winning/withdrawal already tried Revolut (5 times transaction failed, I also confirmed with Revolut is not on their side). Lastly I tried with my own bank (brick and mortar one) it got rejected immediately. I am really frustrated about them...

I use Skrill to make deposit, I had same problem with BC to revolut, I send withdraw to other casino I trust and withdraw to revolut works fine, I also use bitpanda wallet is cheap on fees. looks like revolut block BC

Where did you read about the fine of 7 milion?
It was stated on ask gamblers. Also that's why Curacao licence was evoked. The house always wins. In this casino just give them your money on way in . If you read into them you will also see they have had top game providers distancing themselves from them as they where using cloned off their games. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Thank you! Appreciate this thread
Did you get the remainder of the money hence you went quiet? :)

Or did the other thing occur, spent it back?

Please tell us it was the former!

Sadly GoldenBet and their crook sister sites are being promoted by big UK streamers all the time now (Lucky Devil Slots for example) and the list of complaints will just grow and grow.
Yes buddy that's how I signed up to the cesspit. The gentleman gambler was advertising it on his UTube channel and swore by it. I went onto chat after being scammed and he took changed his tune after sampling it. They never paid some off their streamers as well. Gangsters paradise. I don't think they be around much longer. Too many complaints being lodged against the unlicensed garbage.

I tried recently to deposit a small deposit to Goldenbet casino, luckily my card company blocked the transaction because the payees name was something like Jones Windows Systems... definitely not a casino and sounded more like a glazier's.

They locked my card so as to keep it safe so hopefully that'll be the end of it.

The tide is turning against these organisations now. New SEPA rules mean that payments have to be sent to the name of the proper account recipient so they can't hide under different names anymore. Banks in the UK and elsewhere are also building lists of merchants who will automatically be blocked and it appears this has happened for the person above. Let's hope this continues and these fraudsters slowly lose access to this lucrative loophole.

Well said buddy. The punters have had enough.

Reading this looks like I won’t get my money. Keep rejecting the pictures of the front and back of my card even though crystal clear and in the format they want. £700 down the drain lovely

You've got to give it to this backstreet casino.lol lol. They where classed as great on trustpilot review page then real people left true reviews and their ratings dropped. Now all off a sudden over 100 five star reviews land over weekend and their las Vegas material again. Lol lol. If anyone gets bored go and check it out. Trustpilot tell you they monitor reviews . Lol.

Trustpilot are a disgrace.
Wouldn't bother using it.
I had an issue with LottoGo, the live chat agent told me if I left them a 5* review they would give me 50 free spins.
Told them to take a hike.

100 percent buddy all 5 stars are free spin brigade and AI . I wrote an honest review for the pub casino as I had good experiences on it. Two days later it appeared on the goldenbet review page with my name changed and casino name changed. Couldn't make it up .lol. it's a minefield for problem gamblers.

GOLDENBET UPDATE - DECEMBER 2025

We first warned readers about Goldenbet back in May 2024 after receiving numerous complaints about unpaid winnings, locked accounts, and ignored self-exclusion requests. Since then, things have only gotten worse.

The pattern hasn't changed: players win, try to withdraw, and suddenly their accounts get locked, or they're hit with vague accusations of "Terms violations" — usually with zero proof. When players come to us for help, the casino either ignores us completely or gives the same runaround: "We need to be contacted by the account owner," even though the account owner has already contacted them and gotten nowhere.

Here's a typical example from February 2025: A player had been fighting for 9 months to get €2,670 they won on Euro 2024 bets. First, Goldenbet accused them of "suspicious movements." When the player explained you can't manipulate international tournament results, the casino switched tactics and claimed they had multiple accounts — again, with no proof. Nine months later, still no payment, and most messages are ignored.

By March 2025, our PAB Team reported that complaints were "rolling in" and the total money owed to players was approaching 7-figures. By May 2025, complaints were coming in "fast and furious" with the same old story: no payments, no responses.

Between Goldenbet and its sister sites (MyStake, Velobet, Rolletto, Donbet, Cosmobet — all part of the Santeda Group), the Team has handled 14 Player Arbitration cases. You can read more about the group's problems in our Recent warning about Donbet.

Oh, and about that license:
When we first warned about them, they held a Curaçao 1668/JAZ license (known for being problematic). Then they switched to an Anjouan license from some island off Africa. Now, at the end of 2025, they show no licensing information at all in most jurisdictions — a deliberate move to hide the fact they hold a Curaçao license. This makes it easier for them to accept players from places where they're not supposed to operate.

WARNING: Goldenbet continues to confiscate player winnings, lock accounts without proof, and ignore complaints. The total money owed to players is now in the 7-figure range. They're also operating illegally in multiple jurisdictions by hiding their licensing information to avoid detection. Players are STRONGLY advised to avoid this casino and the entire Santeda Group. There are plenty of other places to play where the risk of getting ripped off isn’t so unacceptably high.

Well documented buddy. I go onto few gaming forums. This site is the most trustworthy and honest I've came across. Most off them turn a blind eye to the corrupt enterprises. Keep up the good work. I always advise people to check casino meister if wanting to check casinos . Trustpilot is a minefield off fake reviews which they endorse. 90 per cent off fake 5 star reviews are copied and pasted on their sister sites. Hopefully the shutters get pulled on this Mickey mouse casino. Defo worst casino I've ever encountered in years off online gaming

Hello! I'm Muhammad from Indonesia, played goldenbet about a month. Everything was good. Firstly I lost about 100-150 GBP, but then I win about 250 GBP (from deposit 330 GBP). When I win they immediately block my usual single bets and asking to place only Express bets (2 and more outcomes), I don't sure that I can win with express so I asked withdrawal. They asked KYC (even for such a little amount of winnings) and I done it. Then they ask address confirmation and I'm also done it. Withdrawal section still turned-off. I chatted about 2 hours before they returned it. I want to ask the withdrawal, but noticed that my balance disappear... From 370 GBP to 240 GBP only... I tried to get any explanations, but support just closed chat...
I asked via email and they accused me of violating as many as 3 or 4 sections of the rules. At the same time, I note that I could still make deposits when the withdrawal function was closed! It turns out that Goldenbet are scammers.
