GOLDENBET UPDATE - DECEMBER 2025
We first warned readers about Goldenbet back in
May 2024 after receiving numerous complaints about
unpaid winnings, locked accounts, and ignored self-exclusion requests. Since then, things have only gotten
worse.
The pattern hasn't changed: players win, try to withdraw, and suddenly their accounts get locked, or they're hit with vague accusations of "Terms violations" — usually with zero proof. When players come to us for help, the casino either ignores us completely or gives the same runaround: "We need to be contacted by the account owner," even though the account owner
has already contacted them and gotten nowhere.
Here's a typical example from February 2025: A player had been fighting for 9 months to get €2,670 they won on Euro 2024 bets. First, Goldenbet accused them of "suspicious movements." When the player explained you can't manipulate international tournament results, the casino switched tactics and claimed they had multiple accounts — again, with no proof. Nine months later, still no payment, and most messages are ignored.
By March 2025, our PAB Team reported that complaints were "rolling in" and the total money owed to players was approaching 7-figures.
By May 2025, complaints were coming in "fast and furious" with the same old story: no payments, no responses.
Between Goldenbet and its sister sites (MyStake, Velobet, Rolletto, Donbet, Cosmobet — all part of the Santeda Group), the Team has handled 14 Player Arbitration cases. You can read more about the group's problems in our
Recent warning about Donbet.
Oh, and about that license: When we first warned about them, they held a Curaçao 1668/JAZ license (known for being problematic). Then they switched to an Anjouan license from some island off Africa. Now, at the end of 2025, they show no licensing information at all in most jurisdictions — a deliberate move to hide the fact they hold a Curaçao license. This makes it easier for them to accept players from places where they're not supposed to operate.
WARNING: Goldenbet continues to confiscate player winnings, lock accounts without proof, and ignore complaints. The total money owed to players is now in the 7-figure range. They're also operating illegally in multiple jurisdictions by hiding their licensing information to avoid detection. Players are STRONGLY advised to avoid this casino and the entire Santeda Group. There are plenty of other places to play where the risk of getting ripped off isn’t so unacceptably high.
