i just noticed this at go wild, i know alot of casino's have withdrawal limits but i thought microgaming was an exception, i hope i dont win the mega moolah jackpot there, it would take ages to get paid, 5 million at 5k a month

Please note that: While there is NO LIMIT to the amount a Player can cash out in the casino, there is a maximum amount that can be Withdrawn in one time. For receiving any Withdrawal which is higher than $5,000, an amount of $5,000 (or the corresponding amount in the currency of payment) will be paid to you once a month, upon your Withdrawal request, until the full amount of your Withdrawal is paid. The foregoing applies also to Withdrawals of progressive jackpots. Withdrawals depend on verification of all required documents.

At least GW divulges it on the progressives which makes them one step above Rival.

Regardless, nothing more than a designed scheme aka FRAUD on progressives that is a breach of the "Contractual Aspect Of Gambling".

Rest assured if the US does regulate, the licensed onlines better have the capital, the reserves, and the float. A bet made will be a bet paid. That said, the onlines mentioned may have the above but they (and some affiliates as I once read a repulsive thread at CAP which I may have) simply know most will lose their winnings back before they are ever disbursed.

i thought the progressive jackpots with micro were shared, where they all pay a percentage into a main kitty then when someone hits at a particular casino the money is there to be paid in a lump sum, or is it only land based casinos that do it, if you know what i mean :D

but they are divulging useless information. in reality they are telling you that is you hit a 5 million dollar progressive you will never see the money. it would take 83 years to be paid at that rate.

ROGUE.

Without question. They should be rogued immediately.

The progressive jackpot is coming from Microgaming, not from their capital. They have no right to hold on to it.

And the other rogue term here is "upon your Withdrawal request".

That's just wrong. You should not have to beg each and every month to get your cash.

Finally, the limit is ridiculously low. What they are effectively running is a ponzi scheme. We don't have more than $5k for you today, but once some more people have deposited, we can use their money to pay you yours.

AVOID

Being upfront about this doesnt make them less roguish. Microgaming should be informed of their behaviour. Besides, if this casino receives the progressive funds from MG in the tune of $5 Million, it is likely you will see no more than 3 $5000 instalments before they flee for good. 83 years? 83 days will be much closer (their closing shop that is).

Agree 100%!!

An excerpt from a couple month's old chat with a Rival casino (but I checked all and the following is pandemic at all Rivals with no upfront disclosure unless one inquires) where I express my opinion below:

you: I have another question, I see on you winners list you have had progressive winners. Since progressive jackpots are accumalated from players across all the various casinos , are they paid in full and not installments??
you: did you cut me off??
you: hello
you: I guess so
Reena: of course not
you: gr8
Reena: I'm still here.
Reena: One moment please.
Reena: They're paid in installments.
you: so progressives are paid installments, then they should not be called progressives imho
Reena: Your opinion is always more then welcome
Reena: Is there anything else I might be able to help you with?
you: ty for now and I appreciate the information....good luck

CM was very clear as I understood on the above being unacceptable (and why) when the Progressive was won at Blackjack Ballroom in the Spring of last year.

Whether a MG, a RTG, all Rivals or others they should be held accountable imo. It is more than a Blackeye, lol!!

I went to find this info and couldn't. Can you post the URL please.

All I found was:
xxxhttp://www.gowildcasino.com/termsandconditions.html

6 - Payment and Winnings
6.5 The maximum payout for any one 24-hour period for any one customer is 120,000 in the casino and 100,000 on the poker network. The daily maximum payout in the casino excludes winnings on GoWild's progressive casino games, payouts of which are governed by the Jackpot amount.

Either someone contacted MG or maybe a Go Wild rep saw it and got it changed.

Worse?

They also have this:-

All withdrawal requests are processed within twenty four (24) business days after the date of the request. However, please note that the casino reserves the right to withhold withdrawals for security checks until the receipt of all the required documents, including a digitized photograph, for verification and promotional purposes, at which stage the withdrawal will be processed.

1) 24 business days is about a month, and is VERY slow for an MGS casino. This further supports views that they are running with a limited float.

2) They are the first casino I have seen to answer exactly WHY they need a photograph, and spell out EXACTLY what I said it might be some while ago. It is so they can quickly use the photo if a player of theirs wins big, rather than have a delay whilst they try to persuade the player to part with one. They at least ADMIT they require a photo in a term that mainly relates to the documentation required for a payout.

GoWild Casino ("us", "we") is registered and licensed company in Malta. GoWild Gaming posses a letter of intent from the Lotteries and Gaming authority malta number: LGA/CL3/474/2008. Malta began licensing online gambling sites in 2000 under the Public Lotto Ordinance. Since then, the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has developed its policies and procedures of remote gambling operations.

Malta yet again, the Kahnawake of the East:rolleyes: Pile 'em high, and regulate them light:rolleyes:
This statement looks like those "legally licenced and insured" claims from clip joints. They say they are a "Registered and licenced COMPANY", and that they have a "Letter of intent" from the lotteries and gaming authority, NOT A FULL GAMING LICENCE. They then add "Malta began licensing online gambling sites in 2000 ......." yes, but irrelevant - are they trying to fool us by association, adding this text last so that we leave the paragraph with the impression they have a FULL GAMING LICENCE from Malta.
They have had this "letter of intent" for many months now, so are we to assume that Malta are happy to allow this "limbo state" to continue almost indefinitely whilst the operator undertakes the running of a fully fledged GAMBLING business.

As for a Mega Moolah win being paid in $5000 instalments. It won't happen, the PR will KILL MGS if they allow it to (although the bad PR risk is much lower for the many smaller progressives), however, this means the term is rogue, since it is not in the gift of GoWild to dictate MGS policy, but rather it is the other way around, as was seen when MGS dictated that no new US players would be allowed.
They may even have got their grammer in a twist, and meant to say progressives were NOT subject to the limitation.

Maybe they cut 'n' pasted their terms from some RTG casino - so many casinos seem to simply cut 'n' paste, and are then so damn lazy they can't even be bothered to proof read the result before going live with it.

Someone with "clout" should try to draw MGS to comment on the general lowering of standards of an increasing number of licencees, before MGS starts to become the "RTG of the East"

i see the go wild "revolution" is in full swing. this place started out as, continues to be, and always will be.... a joke.

Couldn't agree more 1819.

Why anyone would choose to play at a place like this baffles my mind. While they are certainly within their rights to set a maximum monthly withdrawal limit on non-progressive winnings....progressive jackpots are another story entirely. That is NOT their money, and it is meant to be paid when it is won, not over a period of time. Someone seriously needs to contact MG on this one...this is unacceptable and it does border on rogue behaviour, no question.

We could always try Floyd, but he seems to have "buggered off".
High rollers should avoid GoWild, yet they seem to be encouraging them with their "VIP Scheme". Players who deposit small, and bet small, and avoid the progresives, will never have this term applied to them. Even a RF at my usual stake (4000 payout) would come in one go, but I would then have to wait a month for any more above 1000.

I have dabbled there, and I suspect I know WHY they have implemented this 5000 credit monthly limit, and it is down to the potential for "advantage play" if players could turn funds (and thus bonuses) around quickly without constraints on withdrawals. Even at my non-VIP level, the bonuses seem higher than I would expect, although often they just appear without any identification as to what promotion they are for (incompetence). It would be VERY EASY for the offers to suck in more than 5000 credits if "maxed out", but such players would then find their deposits and winnings (even losings) held ransom to the limit, and used by GoWild as float for the rest of the month.

my husband won some money from a free spin promo they sent in an email (terms and conditions were not mentioned and he didn't ask) he cashed out with 400.00 and sent in all the docs they asked for, got an email stating the terms and conditions limited his winings to 100.00 for which 10.00 would be deducted for the "check fee" because the only way to get the winings was through check, they have no quicktender or bank wire option (US player) and so maybe sometime after the 24 days are up he will find a check for 80 bucks in the mail, hahah

Pretty stupid business move. Not only do they void $300, but then add insult to injury by deducting a FURTHER $10 from the remaining $100.
Stupid, because the idea behind such promos is to gain a new player, hopefully for the long term, but it has instead COST them $100, and a freshly p1$$ed off potential player who may well feel this is NOT a place worthy of further patronage. Had they at least paid the $100 in full, and explained the rules about max win, they would have stood more of a chance.

It is best to be up front with such rules, otherwise the prospective player will feel they have been deliberately concealed only to be sprung upon those who win. Those who LOSE will never know the term even existed - I don't believe this promo is on the website.

My husband had tried to deposit when they first came onto the scene but they didn't take the netspend card or quicktender and I'm glad he didn't. the weird thing is today he received a check in the amount of $75.00 and it has the chase bank logo and looks legit.. it has a really long name on it as the sender. In an email sent by the casino they said he would be getting the full $100.00, so since they lied and didn't give the terms up front they have pretty much nailed the coffin on him every making a real money deposit. The free spins he was offered through email because he has an account with them, but as a non depositor.

All I have to say after reading this thread is ....WTF? :what:

I've forwarded this thread to MGS hoping to get some insight on Go Wild's thought process.

If what I am reading is correct ($5000 partial payment plan for progressives, 24 day (?!) payment processing, other funkified stuff) then it's off to the rogue pit with ye.

Looks like there was a mistake in the terms and conditions and that progressives are NOT included in the $5k a month payments.

I rather suspected this to be the case, but this is the kind of damage they can suffer by withdrawing their rep in a "tantrum" over earlier non-payment issues. There has been no-one to jump in & set the record straight.

5000 per MONTH is still pretty low though, worse than many RTG casinos, and certainly VERY low for one powered by MGS.

To put this into perspective, Casino Action were accredited here before their sudden fall from grace (they went bust one Wednesday afternoon), and they had a 10,000 credit a WEEK limit on withdrawals, but of course, this did NOT apply to the network progressives. The most likely single wins are between 100,000 credits, and under 200,000 credits. 100,000 credits is a pat RF at max bet on 50 hand VP, whilst a win of 120K+ was recorded on Munchkins there (no - it wasn't me:D) - muat have been 5 wilds in free spins at near max of 75.00 per spin. This would be a long 12 week wait, but about bearable. With GoWild, a 120K win at 5000 per MONTH would take some 24 Months, or 2 years to pay out. GoWild should use the options MGS have provided and NOT allow the high bets that could lead to such wins. Roxy Palace casino I noticed had a max of 11.25 bet on Thunderstruck, and 20 on 4 handed VP, whereas the MGS norm was 45.00 and 100.00 - This will ensure GoWild is not anywhere near as likely to be in the embarrassing position of having a player wait 2 YEARS for payment, embarrassing because this is NOT the kind of thing players expect of an MGS casino.
Other MGS casinos have payment throttling, but the limits are pretty high, and I have not so far seen them become an issue. I was only caught once by the Casino Action limit (16K pat RF), but have hit RTG limits at Club World when I had a session netting nearly $9000
