Recently we've had several teenage suicides in the area in which I live, due to "bullying". This was the third one in a month, this child was only 13 years old. As parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, friends...PLEASE, PLEASE talk to your children, LISTEN to your children. Tell them you love them. This time of year is tough enough on some, but to lose a child because of bullying, I just can't imagine the pain and heartache the parents are going through.
This is a problem which is becoming almost epidemic, it needs to stop. Our children are too precious. Do yourselves a favor, sit down and talk to your child, make sure you aren't dismissing "odd" behavior as "typical" teenage behavior...you may be saving YOUR childs' life.
