Yes this inheritance tax on farms isn't even going to raise much money in the bigger scheme of things, but will jeopardize the chain of ownership of family farms. I suppose they could transfer the farm etc... 7 yrs before they get too elderly, and avoid a punishing tax. But no doubt the govt, with its huge majority, will shut off that escape route.

Farage should say we will reverse this law and compulsory purchase any farms lost and return them to their family, he's got to start being bold and offer an alternative vision for the future. It would involve some pain, but we're going to get that anyway, just in different ways.

The money gained by taxing dead farmers is meant to pay for the NHS, yet wouldn't even cover 1 day, meanwhile we're sending money all around the world to farmers to help them reach 'carbon neutral' targets.

Energy bills are going up, meanwhile we give Ukraine 3 billion a year for a war they cannot win.

None of doing this makes sense.
