I think the idea behind all this doom talk is to give an excuse for the ideology of neoliberal austerity measures, while also giving the private sector lucrative contracts in areas where the govt spends a lot of money.

But labour forgot about the knock-on effect, where the public reacts by tightening their purse strings, puts off purchases like a new settee or carpets, just make do for a bit.

I'm sure come this Christmas more retail will go under, and we're in uncharted waters as far as that is concerned already.

Labour are in full push to promote the WEF agenda. Closing down the last coal fired station when China keep on opening theirs. Last year we relied on it to keep our houses warm. You are obviously living in the south. I moved back up here in the north and the contrast is huge. We do have the homeless hanging around in hospitals to keep warm -or be close if they get stabbed- and a difficulty getting to see a doc or dentist but acute medical issues are seen too very quickly. I hope you get sorted soon mate

And democracy is a scam. We have parties in opposition around the world who are almost akin with each other but pretend they are not. In the UK we had starmer pushing the cons to invoke harsher measures on Covid but it was really full support.
