I'm with Octopus and just locked in from 1 September for 1 year at gas 5.54p per kwh and electric 22.84, which is only 2% higher than the free 'actual price' tracker non-contract tariff. Given that 9% will be added on 1 Oct and the same estimated 1 Jan that looks a good deal.

There has to be a change of government. There is really no choice. The USA and Canada cant have liberals run things anymore. Search Ontario health care system. We are completely overwhelmed and understaffed because of liberal policies and immigration. Add on all the debt, inflation etc..there is just no way our countries wouldnt turn into complete garbage.

I would say the same for the UK but the UK seems totally lost and only getting worse not sure how they will ever recover from the damage being done. Anytime I open twitter there is new articles of UK citizens being stabbed by migrants all while the politcians blame their own citizens for every issue. Pollution, filthy beaches of dead fish and shit and toilet paper.

The countries will keep ticking on but the quality of life and expenses will be ridiculous until the entire population is forced to live of government allowances and loss of freedoms.

Re the Nando's waitress tale, I'd have expected her management to be leading the way in communication with the police, she's an employee and it happened on their premises, they could even possibly take out a private prosecution. Crime rates at Notting Hill are statistically low, and not really any better or worse than any other similar size gathering of people at a single event.
