Good afternoon! Can someone here give a recommendation on how best to proceed in such a situation: friends advise switching to cryptocurrency, because payment systems have now become supposedly very risky for replenishment and withdrawal. I don’t know what to do ... I would be very grateful for the answer and help)

Hi @Warrior,

Crypto is always a good option in our opinion, sadly you cannot play at BitStarz however (if you're living in the US).

But a tip from our end is to switch to a reputable crypto currency such as BTC or ETH and pick a crypto casino that has a good reputation
and pedigree. Not just a casino that has been around for 2 months :)

Bit of an odd comment to make. You must have been "just around for 2 months" so does that then mean you shouldn't be attracting players when you have just started your business?

@BitStarz Olle has kind of a point here – old(er) brands having a strong company trust history, should lead to being more trusted/reputable today and in the future. But and unfortunately, this usually doesn’t apply to iGaming businesses. And I have seen so many examples in the last 20 years or so.

Trusted and older brands going rogue. And vice versa. For example, Bitstarz was not so reputable and trusted a few years back.

But they did their best and managed to get the best online casino 2021 CM award, voted by Meister Minions. Will they keep the status in 2022? I wouldn’t bet on it.

On the other hand, we also have a relatively new brand @Winz.io casino passing accreditation with flying colours, and currently offering the best crypto online gambling experience by all standards. Will they keep it?

Things are not black/white in this space.

Understand all of that. My point was that the rep of this casino would probably not have said what he said if his casino was less than 2 months old basically saying, "hey don't join our casino"

Olle has been in the online casino industry for many years and was just providing helpful insight to a player that has some anxiety of getting ripped off by a crypto casino, which he clearly stated.

What Olle said is completely justifiable and makes sense concerning Warrior's worry. If an online crypto casino just popped up out of nowhere like a wild mushroom with no stable history, common sense tells us that Warrior's worry has a higher chance of coming to fruition based on so many rotten apple online casinos that exist in the apple orchard. New players have a higher probability of getting stung at brand spanking new unknown crypto casinos versus ones that have been around for a longer period of time with a good reputation.

Hi @interlog,

Ah please don't get me wrong :) I don't mean to talk down to any new casino out there of course.

The point I tried to make was that when it comes to crypto casinos in general is that people seem to have a lot higher trust in those who've
been around for awhile. Also, as this person seemed to be a bit new in the world of crypto, my opinion is to pick a casino that has been in business for some time and got a good reputation :)

Online casinos is not a new thing obviously, but the many view Crypto Casinos a bit different and perhaps are a bit apprehensive about using a crypto currency for the first time.

Just my five Litecoin on the subject, and again, there are many great new casinos out there and I mean no disrespect to them :)

Agreed. I play offshore sometimes - crypto. And only go with the more eshtablished casinos. Yeah I know its a risk - being offshore - but to be honest the experience up until now has been faultless . But yes do your homework and choose a casino that has something of a track record so can see your point here in this.

Good afternoon! Previously, I mainly used a card or bank account for deposits and withdrawals. But now this method is not convenient for me, unfortunately :(
I'm thinking about going into a payment system or cryptocurrency. But if we consider these options, which is better to choose for such purposes? Will there be any difficulties?)

Having recently dabbled in crypto myself, and been burnt. may I suggest the following, before you start playing at crypto casinos:

1) Buy a cold storage wallet - Ledger Nano or such.
2) Create two accounts, a trading account and a storing account for each coin you plan to use.
3) Do some trades (buy crypto) and get used to the process involved and the method of transferring and converting crypto.
4) Only ever sign into your trading account. Store money in your secure storage account.
5) I use Phantom and Metamask wallets and have accounts with Coinbase and Crypto.com. All link with Ledger or can be sent crypto, between those and Ledger Live I get most things done securely now.

You may not need such an extravagant setup if you're only playing at casinos, some will convert your fiat money into crypto to play straight from your VISA or Mastercard, but many will cashout to a crypto wallet only.

Besides, if you consider branching out, buying NFTs, trading in crypto, playing crypto games etc, the above recommendations should keep you protected.

I am still a newbie, and have not actually played at a crypto casino yet, maybe some other members with more experience can help, but I consider my funds safe, now :)

Try to use such as e-wallet which Skrill and Neteller. It's popular and reliable systems for gambling players.

I understand, thanks for the info!
Now I looked, I have a way to replenish through these wallets. Could you tell me a little more about these systems? Doesn't it bother you?)

of course) they have easy verification, not so expensive fees and good limits. And I know there are such services which can help with this. And these payment systems works with many casino. Early, I didn't have any problem with this systems. I would tell you more here, but I think admin's can block me for ads (

The wallets you mention as far as I know do not process crypto payments. You need a dedicated wallet for Crypto payments and this is a totally different from the likes of Skrill/ Neteller. Which is what I think the OP is asking about. Just saying ...

I think it would be easier for me now to consider some kind of payment system.
I would very much like to know everything more closely) Can I write to you in private messages? And then you can tell me everything?
