Hi

Apparently I deposited some money at 32Red using my credit card and was charged a cash advance fee. In future, I'd like to avoid incurring extra fees when depositing into online casinos.

I would like to ask, what are your preferred deposit methods?

Probably someone that lives in Australia should answer your questions.
It differs around the world what is best to use.

For me on the other side of the globe it's Neteller or Skrill, a webwallet where you can easily deposit and withdraw to.

I don't think it was the casino who charge you that extra fee, but the bank. Mostly it's currency exchange.

Yep, Neteller or Skill for me too.

Only ever had one bad experience with Skill, when someone hacked my account and stole all my money about 3 years ago. Finally got it refunded after going to the Financial Ombudsman who agreed it was Skrill's fault, not mine that my account was compromised.
I still use them and have had no problems since.

In the UK I think you will always be charged a fee if you deposit by credit card as such deposits are regarded as a cash advance.Debit card deposits are usually free as are deposits via e-wallets,however a withdrawal will usually hit your Neteller account much more quickly thah a withdrawal to a debit card.If the same rules apply in Australia you are best to avoid credit cards as the fee is usually around 2%-3% of the transaction amount.

Debit card my option here in U.K, Unless I go on a site that uses different currency than I upload some funds to skrill, Using credit cards normally it is a cash advanced by the card issuer that charge as gambling is classed as cash & there has been some talk that they slam you with exchange rate as well if using from other than U.K, Who adds this charge ?

Only Skrill. Fast, secure and cheap.

But I'm have also Neteller account and Neteller MasterCard, but never had used them :)
