A question aimed particularly at Online Roulette:

I have read that (apparently) when playing Online Roulette, the Casino's software can "learn to adjust to the habits of the better"

Is this fact or fiction?

Any thoughts/opinions?

Fiction, a casino does not have to cheat its players, this is gambling folks. Every game has a house edge and that is good enough for a casino to make a profit.

Do you think a well known casino or casino software provider would want to get a bad reputation for cheating its players?

There will be bad eggs out there (a lot less these days), but they are soon found out (especially around here) but these are usually unknown companies or fly by night operators.

Nifty's specialty. ;)

I, exactly like you, don't think there is an article about this. I know that this topic has been up several times at different forums. I do think that most people (who think that online roulette cheats) think that for example Playtechs Roulette have been strange when a color is seen 14 times a row etc. That's the most related to the question of the op.

I googled what the OP had put in quotes (after changing 'better' to 'bettor') and found the article in question right away.

Forever01... if you are really considering paying money for 'Roulette Assault' may I strongly suggest you put your $50 to better use by donating it to one of the Casinomesiter charities you can find here instead: https://www.casinomeister.com/donate/

Bottom line... they don't work, and they get you in trouble. And yes... as people have rightly pointed out, the casino adjusting the game on the fly is pure fiction.

Why would it need to learn your habits? it knows what numbers your betting on and can decide where to place the ball if it so wishes.
But as previous posters have said, theres no point, roulette is weighed so heavily in favour of the casino that all players money will eventually go to them anyway
