Expected time for £25k withdrawal?

I had a good session last weekend playing several different games and withdrew £5k which was paid within an hour then requested £25k which is now approaching 5 days pending. Live chat has said just now 'that department is dealing with it'.

What would be the expected time for a withdrawal of this size to be processed? They are UKGC licenced and have good feedback here at Casinomeister. Every day that passes I get a little more nervous.

You should really add what casino it is you are talking about.
How long one can expect a withdrawal to take changes alot depending on what casino we are talking about.

Maybe someone has had similar sized withdrawals from the same site and can speak from experience, but without knowing what site we are talking about its all just a guessing game.

As long as you are fully IDed and verified it should be the same whether its £25 or £25000.

Well it would need manually authorising for a start with most casinos, and there are usually payment limits in place, so that can affect it too, so not the same.

Cant help with them, as I've not played there, but I would be a bit annoyed if they usually took an hour and it's not done 4 or 5 days later.

You could ask live chat why it says instant and you have been waiting days now. However, their FAQ says

Log into your account, click on cashier, and then click on the ‘Withdraw' tab. Simply enter the details as requested and the funds will be transferred back to your original payment method within 7 working days.

7 working days? They posting a cheque or something!

Their terms and conditions are rather creative too, I know some people have said they have been playing there without problems, but their terms go against the UKGC rules, so personally I would avoid them. The terms say withdrawal times are specified on the banking page, so 3 different answers for the same question.

My guess here is that you’ve reached the next level of their compliance checks and it’s gone to another team for review which have a backlog. I assume your previous withdrawal was below that limit.

I don’t know your total deposits and withdrawals nor the operators specific limits but for regulatory reasons we have to implement different levels of checks when certain thresholds are hit.

We’re guilty of backlogs on compliance checks too and I’m trying to put processes in place to speed things up. I am confident you’ll get paid if the casino is accredited and licenced.

5 days is quit long if you ask me! In the past i had a 50k withdraw from Leo Vegas paid in 2 days, a couple of 25k withdraw from other casino’s always the same day.

Looks like nothing will be done this week now, another day no communication and withdrawals still in the pending stage.

Hate being in this situation but after Casumo, Videoslots and Coral kept asking for more and more documents as well as imposed monthly limits I was pushed to joining the smaller casinos.

I will give it until Monday, then I'll send them an email asking for account closure and full payment of withdrawals.
