Hi there, for context i opened a betway (canada) account on Jan 29th 2024, deposited $1350 and withdrew $1800 the same day. I got the withdrawal on Feb2, so i figured the site was legit. On feb 2nd i re deposited $2500, and withdrew $4500. They asked for proof of address which i provided, then submitted the request. They asked for ID, bank statements and other things on Tuesday, the 4th. I provided all of that via email, to the email asked, since then when i’ve requested an inquiry if my docs have been verified, i was told it could take 24-72 hours; then it got past that point, so i went to betway’s twitter page and messaged them. My account was locked on Friday morning after i was asked some questions about safe gambling, for the reason of me saying: “although i can’t lie i’ve been rather worried about this withdrawal given the pace of things”. Because to the normal working person, an extra $2000 can help someone a whole lot. On top of the extra $2500, but now i’ve been locked out of my account and told to wait for the operations department to verify the docs, and then that multiple departments need to. So confused, why it takes more then 2 days to verify docs, let alone 5. Does anyone know any steps i could take to get my money back from betway? They won’t give me a time frame on the withdrawal, and i am unable to speak to any higher up. Thank you so much, and for reference, the withdrawal method was e transfer.

As discussed in the lost days, what you mentioned to them triggered responsible gambling procedures and that'll just take a little while in addition to your already delayed verification/withdrawal.
It's Betway so you'll be fine but unfortunately there isn't really a way to speed it up for the time being.
