DrVegas slow payouts, fed up!!!

They said, all players who deposit a certain monthly amount. Over the last 4-6 months I have deposited, £100- £150 a month, end of last week about £900 and won £3000.
I think they are doing this because I've made a fuss!

Might find it has something to do with all this new SOW crap.

From their perspective you normally deposit about £100 a month and suddenly you deposited £900 in a short space of time which is quite a substantial amount.

Could be but I still think they have done it because I made a fuss. They said I deposited over the monthly limit which then required them to ask for source of funds!

Called the Gambling Commission, they said they are not prescriptive on the limit of checks. They did agree that over the 10 years or so I have regularly used DrVegas that they have enough information on my gambling style.
It was clear that I wasn't going to get the rest of my money without giving them information on my source of income so very reluctantly gave it to them.

They would have to give you your money, if it was under RG issues and you refused to supply the information, then they should close your account and send your balance to you. If under AML (extremely unlikely from what you have said) then it might take longer but you would still get it. If they said or suggested otherwise they were lying, or trying to scam you.

I could have refused and let them close my account but wouldn't trust them to give me my money, probably find a reason not to pay me!
As I said, I really feel they did this because of the fuss I made, pathetic! In the end I should see the money in my bank within their 10 days!
All of this has been so unnecessary and stressful!

Did they actually say they wouldn't pay you or was it just implied by them? At least you are getting paid and thats the main thing. Hopefully others read this and realise what they are like and spend their money at decent casinos where the rep actually responds to threads rather than hiding like Phil does.

Haha, there must be a trend for "Dr" named casinos being shit, my other half joined a site named Dr Slots, won and withdrew £50 (not a massive amount by any means) on 25/04, not only has it not been processed yet - he's still able to actually reverse it, utter shit in this day and age!

Shame they don't listen to customers or make attempts to be competitive with other online casino's quicker payouts. I really liked the choice of slots but will never use DrVegas again!

I put through withdrawal on the 6th May. And another one (yes I'm stupid) on the 17th. I asked them why it was taking so long to process request from 6th and they replied that they do not give any time in their t&cs for processing withdrawals. When pushed about when I would be paid they replied - maybe at the end of next week. This really doesn't seem right.

Like Janne above it is a shame because I do like their offers and slots but I'm not inclined to use them at all anymore as this is simply ridiculous

Strange is all this.
I last played Dr. Vegas in April.
Requested withdrawal on 8/04 which was a Sunday.
It was paid back on to my debit card the following night on the 9th.

Heres a copy of my minion post.....

I think their T&Cs say something about 10 days.
Their payout timescale has progressively declined and they appear not to be concerned about their reputation.
I have stopped using DrVegas and will never return!

Blimey! you were lucky and/or DrVegas made a fortunate mistake! This is the only positive comment about withdrawals I've seen!!
They usually leave a withdrawal sitting in your wallet for at least a week, when you query this they come back with all sorts of excuses, ID checks, verification codes sent in the post etc once it is authorised, it usually appears in your bank sometime the next day.
Even back in the days when they cared about customer service, debit card withdrawals routinely took about 2-3 days!

I've never had a quick payment from Dr Vegas in 2 years of playing there, however its the one casino that I am in profit at. They've changed their free spin bonus offers a bit now you seem to get 1 spin per £1 deposited, but the free spins are now wager free. And this week they did offer me 100 spins [like they use to] for a £20 deposit so assuming I won something from the 100 spins I could withdraw it, I took the offer and won £20 from the free spins but then I just played it and the deposit through on rhino, I couldn't be bothered to withdraw which is madness and against my low roller outlook.

Since then I have had further offers of 100/50 spins for £10 deposits, so they are literally willing to give money away, but I couldn't be arsed knowing if I make a withdrawal it would take 15+ days to be approved.

In all the previous delays I experienced I resisted the urge to contact customer services, as I figured as soon as you do this, its human nature for the adviser to go on the defensive, they are not going to admit that your withdrawal is unnecessarily being delayed but will say ' 'the reason is we need to see ID etc..' and then that palaver begins.

I can't understand though why they haven't made more of effort to get back their casinomeister accreditation, for a while they still had the logo on their casino's home page, and I thought they need to remove that as bryan has put them in the grey zone and now it has been taken down. It seems long waiting times for withdrawals are not something they are willing to change, and so they're just shooting themselves in both feet, which is a shame as they had a nice little niche casino which was easy to use with a good layout.

Over the many years I played on this site, I've had some really good bonuses and wins. I didn't mind waiting a few days for my withdrawal money but it just got to an unacceptable situation.
I guess they may well have lost quite a few regular players.

yeah these impasse situations drive me mad, and on several occasions it caused me 'gambling' control problems to have a withdrawal hanging like this, and I ended up depositing and losing money elsewhere while I waited for the withdrawals to come through, in the back of mind saying to myself its alright I've still got the dr vegas money coming.

In my opinion the UKGC should under responsible gambling conditions stipulate a maximum withdrawal time for all the casinos they licence, something like 5 working days would be acceptable, anything beyond this would be a breach of their licence

Why even bother with such a casino?

I used to play there a bit before they got bad.

Got reminded by this thread, so i just closed my account there.

Well they did do fairly frequent bonus offers [i.e. deposit £10 for 100 free spins with 40x wagering] so for me as a low roller it extended my playtime and occasionally I got lucky with a reasonable win say on raging rhino that meant I could then compete the mammoth wagering

Be careful with those wager free spins. I have been blocked for bonus abuse. I did wager my deposit and pretty sure the spins winnings as well at least once. So really there are not wager free :) .
They still owe me £200 which they said they will pay but I cannot check which is a pain.

thanks brian, I had forgotten about the 'bonus abuse' ban some of these casinos issue to customers, I'd read of trada doing this to some CM members but didn't know dr vegas were doing it too.

The thing is they email me a new offer nearly everyday, so they've got themselves to blame. I have decided though not to deposit there for the forseeable, but will leave my account open in the vague hope they get their act together.

Crooks, I opened a new account deposited twice for the wager free spins offers and wagered both deposits fully.
They have refused to pay my winnings calling me a bonus abuser.

That's terrible, if you had not made the wagering and lost then it would have been alright  I'm definitely not depositing there now if this is their approach, surely they can't refuse to pay your winnings?

I'm going today to change my contact preferences so that I don't receive their offers, as sometimes in a weak moment I take them, last week I did a deposit £10 for 100 free spins, which this time had 40x wagering attached.

I lost my £10 deposit but managed to get the £40 gained from the 100 free spins up to £95, the wagering was £1300 +, and I soon lost the £95 and bust out. However if I had got lucky and completed the wagering [which would have taken hours] and requested a withdrawal, I would have been livid to be then told the withdrawal is null and void.
