Now boys and girls...fess-up....who else was suckered in.....MMMMMMMmmmmmmmm?
The Doloplex name rang a bell, so I googled for it and then it was clear that it was a joke. In fact, it was the best I have seen today.

I did the same thing, saw the announcement and doloplex rang a bell. Did the google and saw it associated with crystal palace or something and knew for sure then it was a joke. VERY well done though!

So devilishly ingenious it gives one pause.....

Ha ha ha!

I got a number of congratulatory emails from some high profile people! I won't name them in public due to the embarrassment they might experience.

I would never sell Casinomeister to a company that doesn't hire robots by the way.

Should I say anything????

Soooooo, after reading everything but, of course, the punch line, I proceeded to call you every sell out MOFO name I could think of. I fought with my wife, I kicked both my dogs, I threw my eldest daughter out of the house and I deleted every casino program I had on all seven of my computers.
You'll have to excuse me while I go reinstall...you bahstahd!

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Those buffoons! I guess they don't subscribe to the old adage, don't believe everything you read! LMAO

While I was probably lucky to notice the April 1 date first and, as it happened, wasn't fooled, I was fooled by articles on another website, Motley Fool, that makes investment recommendations, etc. They ran an article that Warren Buffet bought Krispy Kreme doughnuts, amongst 14 others, and I actually considered running out and buying the stock.

Made me wonder how liable a website operator might be for April Fool's Day articles that people may have relied upon to their detriment. Just a thought.

Anyone ever sue Orson Welles for his "War of the World's" Martian radio address years ago?

When the original "War of the Worlds" was broadcast, Americans had yet to be turned on by "easy money law suits". Back then it would have been laughed out of court.

But If this would have been broadcast today, I'm sure there would have been many eager ambulance chasers lining up to represent all of the victims of a faked "alien war".

But this does pose an interesting situation: how liable are those who fool others on days like April Fools? This is one of the reasons I have a legal statement posted on this site that pretty much washes my hands of liability. :D

Just a story. Recently, my wife was at one of those parties where the husband thought it would be funny to pull one of those "winning ticket" lottery scams - I think it was a scratch-off saying you had won $10,000.00.
While everyone waited to see her reaction, strangely, she didn't have one. She just said "Ah, I didn't win anything" but everyone knew she had. Turns out she, of course, knew she had won but thought she could get away without telling her husband how much she had won.

Guess they had a few "issues" to work out after that. :)

Not sure what the moral here is.

LMAO! That's hilarious. Not only did she not really win what she thought she won, but her husband now knows her true colors!
