You're not the only one, either. There's a bunch of forums that are being "mirrored"...you may want to take a look at this...especially considering the fact that they have affiliate links up on that site. In fact whenever you view a post, a huge "Casino Classic. Get $500 free on the house" window pops up and totally covers the browser; and you can't do anything until you click on it or close it. That seems to be the only casino they're promoting. The affiliate link in question is xxxhttp://www.casinoclassic.com/referral.asp?aff_id=aff41585&url=freehour.asp

Wow, this has either been going on for years, or they've dug up all the archives on these forums they're monitoring.

Here's the main culprit..don't know if they're related or not.

As it is, there are no backlinks at all in the posts. They're all housed on that site.

Here's a little snippet:

OMG, what a doofus this guy is. When you click on the Forum Extractor link this comes up.

Many times I have seen different forums that delete old messages or do not have their search function working or have a structure that is not search engines friendly and it's contents are not properly indexed by them. Thus the majority of people cannot benefit from a valuable information that is often posted on those forums. So I decided to make this site to store archives of various forums. Indeed you can say I'm simply using their content to get some SE traffic for myself, and you are right - I'm not an altruist, but I respect copyrihts and if you don't want your forum here - just drop me a message and I will remove it. On the other hand, if you consider this service useful and want your forum here - drop me a message as well and I will include it.

Good job there Win, dang you are on top of things.

Edit:

I thought I would add what a WANKER this guy is so when he steals today's posts he can read what I think about him right there on his own site. :machinegu

Yea, I'll PM him...

And I wasn't even looking for this, it just sorta came up on Google via an unrelated search :D

This was brought to my attention about a year ago, and this a-hole is still at it. I've sent an email off last week (not the first time) to Casino Rewards to have this affiliate's account shut down. No response from Renee yet.

Casino Rewards, do you condone property theft? That's what this guy is doing. Get your affiliates in line please.

Considering what else Casino Rewards are doing in terms of marketing, this is pretty innocuous. This guy has all posts in descending date order, and all jumbled up - they make no sense at all, so what he says about being a valuable information archive is BULLSHIT. It looks like he is simply harvesting posts to create a website that LOOKS like a very big and very important forum but the only thing it will fool are search engines. In order to have relevance, it needs to be possible to view posts in context, which usually means in a thread.

Casino Rewards have just launched Casino Action, licensed in Malta, but only in BETA mode at present, yet they are SPAMMING IT LIKE F***!!!!! Only Gold VIP Club can outclass the deluge of spam that seems to have opened up recently, and it seems a small number of casino groups are responsible, Casino Rewards, William Hill Online, and EuroPrime (was Prime before, but may not be now).

I am not convinced the spam is random either. I have given out my private email address to all casinos I have joined, but my "vinylweatheman" one to forums, and available for sending me emails, and my "vinylwebsite" one is on my website, easy to harvest.

At the weekend, my "vinylweatherman" email had a couple of dozen messages, mostly spam, as did my "vinylwebsite" one, yet my PRIVATE one, that is only given out "in confidence" under privacy agreements had over TWO HUNDRED spam messages. Random robo-spam, BOLLOCKS, my "private" email has been passed/sold by some of the parties who had it "in confidence", and it is being vigorously circulated among the spammers as a "quality" email address because of it's pedigree.
If my email addresses were being generated by chance by a bot trying various combinations, there should be a more even distribution between the three of the spam messages.

This is quote unbelievable to see. I am in shock that someone would steal not only a desig but the actual content from casinomeister. The question is how can the forum be dealt with. Sad situation.

Not surprised that this cretin has a stealth domain registration, bearing in mind what he is up to - and he clearly knows that what he is doing is wrong.

However, the surprise may be on him - Casinomeister has shown in the past that he has a few techie tricks up his sleeve that are very effective in unmasking the masked!

Seeing as how this could be considered theft of intellectual property, I'm sure a quick letter fired off by Bryan's attorney would force this domain's registrar to reveal who actually owns this domain.

Also, their hosting provider could do the same..

Renee's on top of this - spam filters suck :p

As for the a-hole webmaster, Simmo! brought this to my attention about a year ago, but I had forgotten about it. It's a dead site - all automated as far as I can tell. I'll contact the host <sigh> what a bloody waste of time.
