Hello there fellow Canadian gamblers, and other gamblers who will view this thread.
I've been getting angry over how many online casinos are committing fraud and are getting away with it.

It's great that Casinomeister and his crew are keeping tabs on them, but sometimes we need the long arm of the law to deal with cyber crooks.

From a Canadian perspective, I have actually talked with my bank and law enforcement, in case an online casino, sports book or poker site.

The real threat of this happening to a Canadian citizen is real, since the closure of Full Tilt Poker, that I was on, but my other friends put serious money into.

When I have talked to law enforcement, lawyer, judge, bank about online gambling, this is what they had to say.

From law enforcement, it was about speaking with R.C.M.P, about the alleged situation. These cyber criminals could have ties to other organized crime groups that are involved with child pornography or terrorism.

The F.B.I and other organizations may be called upon to deal with these cyber crooks at all levels of their respected management sides.

It's not like these businesses are connected to the Better Business Bureau.

Who knows how this will change when the Americans get their online casinos up and running.

From the lawyer, it was about obtaining enough information and logs for the court, as well as getting an international criminal lawyer to handle the process. It could mean dealing with the respected embassy in Ottawa, in order to get the matter resolved.

From the bank, the concern is wire fraud and other types of fraud, as well as identity theft issues. This could involve a company like Visa/Mastercard, Western Union, as these were methods of payment not so long ago to online casinos.

Even gaming commissions on native territory, should be concerned if they commit cyber crime and fraud against Canadians.

Our R.C.M.P will review these matters seriously, as the money from the rogue casinos could go to support terrorism and other types of illegal trade.

So if an online casino does business with Canadians, that our law enforcement will care about how we are treated on the internet.
