Announcement Dan has left Videoslots

Just all a bit odd. Surely at some point the question of ‘Hey Dan, er, they keep all saying Hi Dan, thanks Dan, should we say something?’ must have came up in conversation. To then not even qualify it, is misleading.

It was mentioned that Dan had a team but the way it was implied was that they supported him, not impersonated.

All in all the fact that the service was IMO good that Dan/they delivered is a testament tho :-p

I also think John@32Red does a bang up job :-p

I can appreciate Team Videoslots coming clean about Dan being given a massive back up by other members of VS and that after all of the plaudits directed at Dan he was not after all a solo machine. After all Dan and videoslots have been here for us almost 24/7 and Dan did direct their ship very very well.
However I can not see me voting for Videoslots as being rep of the year this time round over a casino rep who is dealing with our issues in Casinomeister on their own.
The past few years has been hugely beneficial for both Videoslots and CM's members so I still feel that Videoslots owe me nothing and they will remain my number one casino to deposit at.

They will most probably get my vote for casino of the year again come December too.

I didn't realise that this information was extracted by Jen's cunning and not admitted too voluntarily by the reps!

I already recognise that Videoslots won awards basically by conning us into believing that Dan was here for us every hour of the day and not once when they had the chance to do so did they admit it was not just Dan alone.
I met Dan a few years ago at the meet and he told me that the forum was only a part of his daily responsibilities. I told him that I was impressed by his work rate in the forum and that his other work on top must have him working very many hours without a day off. He had the chance there to admit he was not working alone,but didn't. To me that is deception in a very bad way!
I still like Dan and think that he is a very decent man,but I do hope that "lessons will be learned " by these recent developments and casino's are no longer allowed to undermine casino's and reps from being allowed to play on a fair playing field.

I agree that they surely were following higher orders. A heartfelt public apology would be nice though.

Yes, 200% deposit bonus is really good at other casinos, but to be tell you the truth not in VS.

I have deposited $50, got $100 as a bonus, but to get just $10 from that bonus money, I had to wager $250 first which is not fun. I played only "Viking Runecraft" until I got 80% of that bonus money-I believe casino race money was added and I had to deposit one more to get $80 from my bonus money. I didn't want to play any other games I like, because I know,sometimes the balance will reach $0 from $50 dollars within the blink of eyes which means I had to give up bonus money or I had to deposit a few more times to get all the bonus money.-

I'm pretty sure many player wouldn't use your deposit bonus rewards, I myself am not so sure that I will use again.

Rewards player is not going to use should not be used to determine the value of rewards I think.

How about why don't you let the player choose the reward the player want.
After the player get the trophy, the player can choose between free games, paid battle ticket or deposit bonus...many players prefer free games, but in my case I prefer paid battle ticket.

Anyway, I don't complain much, but the change in rewards system is not really customer-friendly I think.

What about giving up something, for something? They do the weekend battles once a month, and someone figured out over 300k free spins are given. Are the hidden rewards, more better? To me it doesn't mean a thing in all honesty.

Not sure how the rep pf the year awards given to Dan can stand considering a lot of people voted based on the lies that were it was one person so dedicated to his job he was online pretty much 24/7/365.

@ MultipleDans (VideoslotsTeam) how about getting rid of the annoying cookie warning, once I accept I don't need to again when I login, nor the next time, next time, next time etc

I agree with Tirilej.

The forum rules state (1.13) that "Conversations are more or less Private Messages - they can be personal [...]" --- I'd like to think there's a reasonable expectation of some level of privacy with pm's.

VS has not been clear and transparent how they handle these communications (pm's). Of couse they mostly serve a clear purpose for the sender (player), since most of us use them to solve a problem of some sort. And they are part of the company's corresponce which on their end are not private in that sense.

But it shows poor judgement if a casino rep account is used by more than one person. And even signed as "X" when it actually can be anybody from the casino team who have access to that account. On a practical level I have no problem if the casino rep account is used by multiple people. In this case, it would be respectful to make that clear. There are members here who are clearly upset by the lack of transparency in this regard.

I would say that deceptive is a little too strong a word. Whether it was Dan or a member of his team dealing with the respective query, you can't knock them for dealing with it very fast. They were, and still are, at the beck and call for the members almost 24/7.

I don't believe there was an intention to mislead the members.

Then why did Dan,even when face to face,talking about his ever presence in this forum not admit that he was not a lone wolf dealing with our issues?
 
Probably just an error by the team from too much recreational smoking. In the haze, they actually meant to sign off PMs with "Best Regards, Man"

Did anybody ever ask him directly? Now if somebody did and he said it was only him answering when that isn't the case, then I would say it was deceptive, lying, fraudulent etc.

There was (and is) casino representation on the forum. Instead of "team Guts" etc it was "Dan.Videoslots". Support was given and surely that is all that matters? I rather have that than no or piss poor representation.

You are defending the indefensible.
We talked about his ever presence in Casinomeister face to face and he never mentioned anything about there being a team. Over years in this forum his ever presence was mentioned and at no point did he hint that he was not working alone.
Just because a person does not admit to something when they are repeatedly given the chance to be transparent does not mean that they are not guilty of a huge deception.
It is quite the opposite

I asked them directly last month. I have a copy of the message and was not replied to.
 
So this is where I stand. I won't post it out in the forum because no one will believe me anyways, and think I'm crazier then they already think. I noticed it for the first time last year. I would send you messages about the trophies not working, you would reply as normal, and then your replies where of someone who forgot. Then we started talking about the prizes changing in the Canadian Battles ( well I started) and your reply was always the same " looking into it" " soon", and then again there was a few times that you seemed baffled. Red flags started going off but I thought....he is a busy man, and left it alone. I am close with another member on here, and talk quite frequently via phone. She had met you, so I'm sure you know who I am talking about. She told me that it's not always you on here. Sometimes its you, other times it's one of your team members posing as you. She is a forthright and honest person, so I have no reason to not believe her. The prizes became my mission. I felt and still feel that we are being cheated. I have been very vocal about this. So when I saw that everyone had gotten new games, and we only had one at the time, adding in the prize structure. Yes I was angry! But then....I have been writing for over 30 years, and one thing I'm very observant over, is the language of words. Everyone has their own footprint and style of what words they use. I was reading messages from Tom in my gmail, and then reading in the forum that " the prize structure will not change". I was dejavu. I was reading Tom's words, not yours! I wen't full steam ahead! Because you have been saying all along, right up till last week to have patience and to read that it's not going to happen, and to top it all off, it was probably Tom and not you saying this. I don't even know if its you right now reading this!
That is what I sent them last month, and then when I saw Dan's thread about leaving and his " goodbye" message, which I still don't believe he wrote, and then one of the team members wrote that they were active for a " few weeks", but we didn't know. When in reality it's been a heck of a lot longer. There isnt much Bryan can do, but VS, clearly needs to apologize. The longer they wait, then it in MY opinion, it becomes a casino issue, not just a team issue.

how many times on pm and on this forum, I and many of us have asked....Hey dan thanks for your help. How do you do it? Have you slept at all? Have you gone home? Hope your family doesn’t mind.

His response was. Lots of coffee.


Another Cm member got a rather rude and accusatory pm from dan that was so out of character that it was impossible to believe that this was the same sweet helpful gentle guy we all know on here.

So when the Cm member responded no one at any point not even the many DANS said sorry that wasn’t really dan but someone on the team.

All of this seems irrelevant however how deceitful. And rude.

I am not defending the actions of VS. I merely don't agree with your choice of word, namely that it was deceptive.
 
Here is some food for thought: Do you honestly believe that a CEO of any big corporation writes their own letters? I know for a fact that the one that I work for doesn't. He has a team responding to letters / emails on his behalf. All signed in his name. I even have my staff responding to queries on my behalf when I am not about!!
 
All I am going to say on this matter as this thread is getting too clogged up is Casinomeister should make a reply on the situation. As I talked to "Dan" a few times via p.m. the last few months the odd one I knew was not Dan as some said already the tone was different.

I am not bothered really that it was not Dan and don't know why everyone is getting so upset, As long as my situation gets resolved that's all I care about. Now videoslots is starting to go down the tubes a bit yes, Like my cashouts the last 2 days took 3-4 hours to be approved, The weekend booster has changed or they changed it regarding BTG games or something cause it is way down what you get now. Like I played almost all day on Saturday and I only got $17.

I think the winds of greed might be coming into play and the upper management thought hey it's time to make stupid changes or something to that effect like what every company does these days.

As for Mr Wild saying oh they won't do anything to risk their licenses is complete nonsense or "bollox". They said that about Full Tilt poker, Look what happened, Pokerstars paid substantial fines and they were not that clean, They or we said that about ClubWorld, Look at what happened.

Don’t think the ceo gets involved in the day to day things of his company either. And
I don’t think the ceo of a company gets to know his customers the way dan got to know his customers here on cm.

As for your staff responding on your behalf I do hope they say...hey this is not so and so but he asked me to look into it for you so I am responding to you ..cuz if I was a client ..I would not appreciate not knowing that I wasn’t dealing with the person who is signing those emails and or letters.

It’s downright deceitful and rude. Sorry interlog I respect your opinions immensely on this forum but I think you are way off on this one.

They do sign it in my name, but then again I told them the gist of the response...... I guess a little like Dan did when it came to non standard responses and he wasn't about to respond personally.

But you missed the point I was making, not every letter / email that you receive is necessarily drafted or composed by the person signing it.

I just don't understand the hoe-ha about it to be honest.
 
Having written tonnes and tonnes of letters on behalf of senior managers, if I sign on their behalf, it always has *p.p * !

My issue is that our posts have been noticeably ignored - I would have more respect if VS had apologised and just admitted they got it wrong but to not even comment on their player base comments about the issue says more.

Yes i thought Dan was here more than he is and i also agree people should have been told it was not actually Dan they were talking to especially if you were asking him how he was etc.

But it's done we now know it was a team and by all accounts a damn good team.

So people now have to decide do they want a team that is here 24/7 to help out unlike any other casino or do they want VS to do what other Rep's have and go it's not worth the hassle i will check in a couple of times a week and fulfill our Accredited obligations.

Because way people are going on about it a week later if it was me i would just give up and not bother trying.

Some just found out and are reacting. Others don't know yet. Everyone doesn't live and breath this forum.

Maybe it should come out in the main forum so that everyone knows and also the reps who never had a chance for the awards.

Sorry if all of us doesn't feel or behave the way you want us to.

Basically it is mainly same people posting about it that were a week ago.

It is all out in forum why else would it still be being debated.

And it has nothing to do with how i feel or what i want. It is to do with a casino has Rep's here to help. End of the day that is what has happened. Obviously some people feel the need to PM Rep's more than others and are upset as they sent more personal messages.

But none of it excuses the fact posts are now starting to get rather snide and disrespectful.

This forum has got into a habit of driving Rep's away. Many have became much less active due to way people treat them. An example would be the way people reacted when Chancehill ran a really generous promotion. Notice that Rep no longer post's. Wonder why.

Anyway whether people agree with what VS did the Rep's are still people doing a job here yet are getting some rather cheap posts now.
 
Just to mention about if it was decieving or not, would the comments below still apply if it was a team of people?

It's posts in the thread about Videoslots and if you don't have an account there then you don't read this thread.

I don't think Dan or the Team was personal with anyone. Not me either so that's not what is is about from my side. I don't like lies and I had wanted an apology at least.
It never came so it's me done now. Don't worry, no more posts from me:thumbsup:

It was me. For those who may not have figured it out.

Going forward, I'd like to see Team Videoslots sign their own names when posting and/or pm'ing. EG: Tom for Teamvideoslots. Couldn't care less if this is done for the new game announcements, or other promotional posts.

Are you trying to shame us into not posting about this? yet we have posters here who whine complain about the bonanza be8ng rigged or playing bad for the millionth time and we tolerate it.
