I think @dunover and @cncas2123 have had their first jabs and i have an appointment next weekHas anyone been vaccinated here?![]()
I think theres quite a few that have got the jab, I got my first dose of the Pfizer Biontech vaccine in January as my company got access as they are considered essential. I am getting the second on 1st April and I would advise everyone who gets invited to get one go along and get itHas anyone been vaccinated here?![]()

The EMA have now cleared it for use again, they say there is no link between the AZ Vaccine and blood clots, so you will be fine, though a couple of people I have spoken to who have had the second dose have said that it hit them a lot harder than the first dose, felt like they had the flu and they felt really fatigued but it passed in a few days.I got my first doze of Astra last week
Here in Serbia you can apply via phone or website and they call you soon to get it. This include foreigners too - free vaccine for all
What annoys me is that now lots of countries is withdrawing this one I got :axeman2:
Nothing wrong with it - it's worked wonders here in the UK and the latest is that the EU Health lot have just confirmed the blood clot thing is BS. In fact, using the twisted logic of the EU cretins, the stats in the UK suggest that the 17m people who've had it are 50% LESS likely to have a blood clot! Apparently blood clots in those 17m people are about half of the average you would expect in 17m 'normal' people of those ages who've NOT had the vaccine. Go figure. There's lies, damn lies and statistics.I got my first doze of Astra last week

Yeah a month yesterday !Has anyone been vaccinated here?![]()

yeah... the same storyOk cool!! Yea I could feel vaccine was working and kicking the first time already, not the best feeling tho![]()

I have the annual physical on Friday. (should be fun) I'm going to see if the doctor can test for Covid antibodies (and vit D) first before scheduling the jab. Unfortunately at the time I scheduled the appt, the doctor was not offering the vaccines, however that was before the J&J was approved so maybe that has changed?
Well my doctor would not run the covid anti-body test. Instead he was pushing for me to get the vaccine.
I would like to have an antigen test done too but can't get it here. I could buy it on Amazon or Ebay tho... but I'd prefer an official one. After all it's 1 drop of blood on a stick. No idea why they don't offer it here.

I have no idea how vaccination, one of humankind's toweringly magnificent achievements, turned into something to be 'afraid' of.
People like me who are vaccine sceptics probably believe in a more natural, holistic view of health
I agree 110% with this view.
I wonder where an ever-increasing list of vaccines is coming from, why and where it will lead to. Natural selection, natural immunity and evolution might have meant a stronger human race. I believe we have enough evidence throughout history regarding viruses and plagues to argue we would or maybe would have survived any disease.
If diseases are getting stronger and more prevalent how did we make it this far?
I wonder if we are diluting our immune systems and gene pool.
Not saying for one minute we shoudnt help the afflicted or suffering with science but this approach just feels a wrong and im unable to make much sense of it myself.
I hear some plants are more fun than others.I think a lot of the diseases came from squalor and poor hygiene, vaccination takes a lot of claim for the drop in cases [eg polio] but at the same time fresh, clean water was starting to become available and proper waste systems, antibiotics and antiseptics etc..so I think it was the mix of things.
Even louis pasteur changed his mind I believe, I don't object to the scientists doing their research and discoveries, but we also need to make sure to take care of our health through natural means as well, nature provides us with a lot, substances that can be used to create medicines etc..

ah that seems a shame, there was an article in the new york times a while back, about the possibility that people who have already had covid may experience worse adverse effects from the covid vaccines. [not dangerous different effects just more intense]
If you've already got the antibodies you might have years of naturally acquired protection, which is broader than the vax, I think I read though that the antibodies only circulate for a while, but the immune system memory can produce them again quickly if you come into contact with the virus again.
I find blood on a big stick is a good indicator of whether someones learnt their lessonThink Bryan has enough going on with his PAB's n all that never mind blood on sticks![]()

Oxford Uni covid risk.
At 51, with asthma and a bit overweight, I have 1 in 7900 chance of dying if I get covid.
Do I really need a vaccine with a 1/200 adverse event rate NO!!!!!
Anyone in their 40s have a 1/50000, in their 30s 1/200000, in their 20s 1/1000000 chance of covid death.
Stop this vaccine madness, and lockdown madness.
Its literally burning down the whole village for a wasp nest in one roof!!!

Why? There's already restrictions in place for driving. Have to wear seat belts. Have to stick to certain speeds. Cars have to have certain safety features, cars have to be safe.We had better ban driving and lockdown our cars , its more dangerous than covid for anyone under 60!! View attachment 152547

Or with it lolI hope you enjoy holidaying in the UK then.
There won't be many countries that will allow you in without it.
I can see their point though. They were wrong not to close the borders a year ago, it's clear we were much harder hit because of this. Other countries are massively behind us in terms of vaccines, and the last thing we want is a new vaccine resistant strain getting into the country and us having to go back into lockdown. This is rather all bollocks in my opinion. You have the Government saying get the vaccination so that we can get back to some sort of normality, but it then continues to restrict and now extends freedom of movement. This personally effects me because I can't visit my family abroad.
Sorry, but I disagree. The money and huge effort that has been invested in this UK vaccination programme CANNOT be jeopardized by allowing mass travel overseas, especially to Europe where it's now out of control and has a hopelessly inept vaccination system. In those conditions, it's possible, nay even likely, a new variant will arise there which would inevitably be carried back here even if all UK citizens allowed overseas were vaccinated. The vaccine may have (as the USA tests on the OAZ one showed) a 100% success rate in preventing hospitalization and serious illness, but if this changed due to variants we'd be back to square one, with another 6-12 months of restrictions and/or lockdowns while another vaccine is tweaked then administered. This is something no country can afford financially or societally. This is rather all bollocks in my opinion.
