Dr. Fauci is 80 years old (born on xmas eve). Apparently he has developed an anti-aging vaccine and is holding out on the rest of us.

Arguing that we should revoke rights and freedoms we fought wars to defend, over a virus with a 99.9% recovery rate for all except the elderly or vulnerable, who have now been vaccinated or offered the vaccine.

Come on peops you dont need scientific proof to know, for any undeniable fact, that putting something in front of your mouth will limit what comes out, just saying, we dont need scientists to define logic.....or do we?
OK, so we wear masks to protect others in the rare event we have asymptomatic covid. So someone has this.... So on breathing out, millions and millions of viral covid particles rather than being dispersed harmlessly into the air as evolution intended, they get caught in the mask, and then get breathed back in, deep into your lungs, causing high viral load covid and possible severe covid.
Is this confirmed to be the case, or another opinion of yours?OK, so we wear masks to protect others in the rare event we have asymptomatic covid. So someone has this.... Madness.
Sidenote: People prefer if you dont pee on them at all, regardless if you are wearing pants or not, attempting to pee on someone is frowned upon.

Yeah, but ive read about the earth being flat, but as far as i know it has not been confirmed yet.I did read about this reinfection of yourself, breathing back in the covid molecules, I'd forgotten until dealer just mentioned it, I think I posted a link or quotation on it way back.

Even if it just lowers the chance of catching/spreading it by say 1% i would still put one on when going to the shop.Yes masks may restrict flow but can’t be that effective given the amount of cases we are still seeing. I find it very difficult to believe that 400,000 people per day worldwide are not wearing masks and are the only ones contracting the virus.
Also why are we not putting any emphasis on wearing gloves if it can be caught through contaminated surfaces? Why doesn’t everyone go around with a mask on every winter if that would guarantee you wouldn’t catch the flu?
You really do post the most outrageous shite don't you?Masks work do they lol, they were mandated in the summer, then we had a lockdown in January because they worked so well.
With the greatest of respect, I am not prepared to stop someone dying, when it would exponentially increase my risk of dying. You really do post the most outrageous shite don't you?
No one has said they work 100%, but they most likely stop some cases. It's a bit of cloth over your mouth for a few minutes ffs, is it that hard to do, just in case it stops someone dying?
Wheres your answer to my post yesterday? Did you link to the wrong article or just make a load of stuff up by not reading the one you posted?
Yeah, but ive read about the earth being flat, but as far as i know it has not been confirmed yet.
Its not like mask wearing is uncommon.
In alot of Asian countries, they put one on if they have the sniffles, as its considered rude to be out in public spreading your germs willy nilly.
Do the same thing apply there? Do they get super colds due to breathing in their own germs?
But that sounds like you think the people making the guidelines over here in Sweden are not taking these things into consideration.[Your flat earth link was kind of disappointing to read in a reply tbh.]
I'm sure there are more articles or views about rebreathing viral particles but google is a search engine beset with bias, and only wants you to see that which it agrees with, so in the time I've given it found this:
Yaneer Bar-Yam, Don’t rebreath the coronavirus: New mask designs, New England Complex Systems Institute (April 3, 2020).
A strategy to reduce COVID transmission is to wear a mask. However, for a person who is sick, wearing a standard mask can lead to increased rebreathing of viral particles. Here we consider designing masks to prevent rebreathing both when in public places, and more generally. We note that asymptomatic individuals may already be infected during a pre-symptomatic period. A non-rebreathing mask may be helpful for them instead of the usual masks.
Rebreathing coronavirus particles by an infected individual who exhales them may be harmful in accelerating COVID-19 progression. Infections initially occur due to inhaling coronavirus particles or touching the face. Once the infection is established in the nose or lungs, the virus replicates and particles are sneezed, coughed or breathed out. These particles are capable of infecting others, and can also be rebreathed. Disease progression is a competition between viral replication and elimination by the immune system. Rebreathing increases the amount of virus (viral load), and can add new locations of infection in the lung. This is like long range travel between communities in society. Indeed, CT scans show multiple locations of viral damage in the lung.* Since 80% of cases are mild, reduced rebreathing may increase this percentage, decreasing the number of individuals who progress to severe cases and the overall impact of this disease.

Don't they advise windows to be open and fresh air for the sick, the principle is the same, and I don't find it so hard to see this is a factor to be taken into acount when looking at mask good points and bad points.
Someone in our place, from health and safety, brought these in one dayYes masks may restrict flow but can’t be that effective given the amount of cases we are still seeing. I find it very difficult to believe that 400,000 people per day worldwide are not wearing masks and are the only ones contracting the virus.

Like i said earlier, they have probably read alot more than what anyone here has about different studies etc, and probably have a way better understanding of what they are reading.
So i dont think its weird trusting their recommendations and opinions over the recommendations and opinions of people from CM.
It would be different if i thought they were out to harm me with their recommendations and opinions, but i dont think they are.
, the bad points re masks have had very little public airing after PPE could be secured; if you go back to early 2020 the uk experts [and fauci] were advising masks could be unhelpful and not needed by the general public - social distancing and handwashing were likely as effective a measure in comparison, then when they could get their hands on some masks, mandatory. So it has a political dimension to it (the advice)Maybe i should spend a couple hours reading about covid so i also become an expert and know better than the people making the recommendations here in Sweden. You're working with straw too much again laddie, the bad points re masks have had very little public airing after PPE could be secured; if you go back to early 2020 the uk experts [and fauci] were advising masks could be unhelpful and not needed by the general public - social distancing and handwashing were likely as effective a measure in comparison, then when they could get their hands on some masks, mandatory. They help create and reinforce public fear in countries not use to seeing them, a lockdown, with all its new laws and restrictions, is assisted by masks and that visible compliance. They can also give you a false sense of protection, I wear one as required so know that feeling, one senses the mask barrier is effective however at the same time we have no realisation/comprehension of how small the particles are.
[ I won't delve into the opinions about oxygen levels, other detrimental effects on health etc for those required to masks for long periods, but it is something that can be looked into ]
Iirc sweden hasn't mandated them for public transport [unless that has recently changed] but have advised it as a sensible precaution?

Maybe i should spend a couple hours reading about covid so i also become an expert and know better than the people making the recommendations here in Sweden.
Yes, they recommend it as a sensible precaution, ie a smart thing to do. =)
Like what is the big endgame for all this if masks etc is all just a hoax to create public fear, lockdowns are pointless etc.
I dont think im the only one working with straw here.
Do you believe the people making the guidelines/recommendations in England are out to harm rather than help you?You do that, time well spent
For the endgame we have to wait, though it'll probably be the 1st part, you have to drip feed long term social/society change, otherwise too many might get organised and object.
Do you believe the people making the guidelines/recommendations in England are out to harm rather than help you?
Should have voted labour.Let's see if we go back to normal anytime soon, or whether a raft of 'controlling' measures are introduced and never get repealed come what may.
I hope I am wrong, that would please me greatly.
Should have voted labour.

I dont know, i think its way to uncoordinated to be a scheme for bringing on worldwide societal change.
If that were the case, wouldnt every country be following the same guidelines, having the same rules, lockdowns etc.
Im sorry Mack, but i will have to add this to the list.

*labour thing was not serious.
Its kind of similar-ish here.I did briefly hope Labour would make things better back in 1997 when they won the general election, the tories had been in power for 18 years straight by then, but I soon realised their promises were written on the back of a fag packet and their competency was even less credible.
I believe in democracy, but it's not great when both main parties basically seem to agree on everything, there's a paper thin difference between blair and johnson, if you sat them down they'd broadly agree with each other, save a few superficial things.
Maybe I'm too cynical re current events...but I can only say what I see.

Tanzania's president John Magufuli has died aged 61 of a suspected heart attack ( critics are claiming he died of Covid Ha ha ha)
He refused to entertain Covid as a danger, no masks,no lockdowns or measures. He sent swabs to get tested and found that fruits and animals results came back positive.
Tanzania population near 61 million. Covid cases in 1 year =509. Covid deaths in 1 year =21. Tanzinia is among the poorest 15 nations in the World.
UK population= 67.61 Million. Covid cases in 1 year = 4.27 million. Covid deaths in 1 year = 126,000
The problem might be that your expectations are too high?
He wouldn't be the first World leader taken out. There has been guns around for years that leave no trace that give the impression of a heart attackCoroners report just in cause of death: opposing the global cabal, they have replaced him 2 mins after with a WEF puppet.
You might think so, but lets look at the facts here.Isn't this conspiracy theory territory?
