I already commented on this. Using the c* word is unnecessary. Don't do it.What an absolute cunt you are saying that, disagree with someone fine, but calling for them to be shot...
You also used c-words.I alreadycommentedon this. Using the c* word isunnecessary. Don't do it.
We all know this gave CM a giggle hahaYou also used c-words.
Dont worry, i sensored it for you.![]()
Language!!We all know this gaveCMa giggle haha
Same tbh, been for my 2nd test cheers for asking.how are you feeling??
Shocking UK numbers, better hope this so called lockdown works, but I have a very little faith left in the UK Government,
Just hope that they listen to what Israel is saying about delaying the second jab, basically a shit idea based on real
world data,we are cracking on well with the first jab but it could be waste of time, its second one that really kick starts
the immunity.
I think at the start of this lockdown things were quieter, but been out today and the roads were busier than usual. Add to that it was absolutely lashing down, I doubt many were driving somewhere to go for a walk. Not actually sure where they were going though as schools, shops, leisure is all shut. I had to nip into the city centre and I've genuinely never seen it as quiet, even going back 40 years when I was a kid and the shops and pubs were closed Sunday afternoons, it was busier than today.I dont know what its like where you are but you've only got to look outside my window or at the roads to see lockdown is not working in South East Essex.

Completely agree. The government is solely to blame for these rates, allowing people to mix at Christmas, absolutely ridiculous. Sending the kids back for one day, even more ridiculous.

Only bright side is that infection rates are dropping, so the other figures should start dropping before long too, however I don't think we are at the peak death rate yet![]()
I agree. However, when the people in charge tell you it's perfectly safe to do something, be it Christmas or go to school, and people are desperate to do it, then they will.I'd say some personal responsibility or accountability wouldn't hurt either... (Fictive) Examples: it's not because you're allowed to see 4 other adults at the same time that you HAVE to see them, it's not because travel is just strongly discouraged that you still should go on holiday, etc etc etc.
Fixed.You also usedc-words.

The roads have been packed mate, every Monday going to manchester we’re stuck in heaving traffic (essential workers btw) we where not just driving.Think I was one of the few driving to walk my dog today as the weather was absolutely vile, but the roads were almost
as busy as pre covid times.I am baffled as well where everyone is going, no school runs so its not that,
can only think there are a lot of essential workers and people who cant work at home which is all within the law
but if you posted a photo of the roads and told folks from other countries we were in mid lockdown, they
would say we (or our betters) were crazy and wouldnt be suprized at our current death rates.
You do realise mixing at xmas was banned in most of the country?A new daily high of 1,820 Covid deaths, genuinely horrifying numbers. This is a direct result of the mixing over Christmas due to the time factor of:
People won't see it as it's made up. Show some evidence from the UK that lockdowns cause transmissions to increase, oh wait, you cant because you are talking absolute shite again. You do realise mixing at xmas was banned in most of the country?
Whats causing this, is the lockdowns themselves, I know you will never see it, but look at this fascinating graph from 2 very similar locations.
So you think meeting up indoors, even though you say its less safe than in a bar or somewhere, is the right thing to do? You really are some kind of idiot. The fact that every time we lockdown, deaths go through the roof. We have been locked down in London from 19th Dec, and deaths have gone higher and higher since.
THEY DONT WORK, they make things worse, especially now a lot of people have had enough of them and are freely meeting their friends and family (Quite rightly IMO) They are meeting them indoors which is less safe than in bars, restaurants etc
The one sensible thing in your entire post, the word draconian. But the trends could not have been triggered by the national lockdown that came into force on January 4 because it takes three weeks for draconian curbs to drive down infections and cases.
Just out of curiosity. What would be your way to solve this whole Covid-situation until vaccines are received? The one sensible thing in your entire post, the word draconian.
We we sold " 3 weeks to flatten the curve" not 300+ days to flatten society, flatten the economy, cost 560,000 deaths and flatten our children's futures.
its just go on as normal and let everyone die, he's said that in the past.Just out of curiosity. What would be your way to solve this whole Covid-situation until vaccines are received?
I assumed the same pal till it happened and fast. 3 mates in icu, one hospital and my aunty. The one sensible thing in your entire post, the word draconian.

In fairness that was my stance almost minus the links etc as had professionals tell me there hospital wasn’t that bad..its just go on as normal and let everyone die, he's said that in the past.
Elderly and vulnerable shield voluntarily, all resources into hospitals and care homes. everything else as normal.Just out of curiosity. What would be your way to solve this whole Covid-situation until vaccines are received?
That's like the whole population infected with Covid. Pretty hard to protect elderly and vulnerable when everyone else is a risk to them.Elderly and vulnerable shield voluntarily, all resources into hospitals and care homes. everything else as normal.
So let the younger people who catch it die then?Elderly and vulnerable shield voluntarily, all resources into hospitals and care homes. everything else as normal.
I get it, people are getting covid, and some terrible covid. But the answer is not shutting down society for the best part of a year. The economic damage will cause many more deaths than covid will, and the damage this is doing to children is so horrific, it is on a crime against humanity level.I assumed the same pal till it happened and fast. 3 mates in icu, one hospital and my aunty.
i don’t know the answer pal but stricter measures are needed and people need to listen, I didn’t... I was just mega lucky I didn’t get poorly...
that said my chest is in bits and I’ve already had a test that was negative, done another today so time will tell mate.
as said mate ive no issues your views, just mine are fact based pal.
And that is your most ridiculous statement yet which is going some as you have set the bar pretty high.It is obviously a Government conspiracy to get rid of all the elderly in our community. Also wouldn't put it past the vaccination with experimental mRNA shyte of 80 year olds + to be adding to the death toll.
It doesnt really kill many people under 70So let the younger people who catch it die then?
You haven't explained how the figures are going down in the middle of a lockdown that causes them to increase?
Would all these things be like the 300% increase in suicide rates that you stated last week, but you lied about?I get it, people are getting covid, and some terrible covid. But the answer is not shutting down society for the best part of a year. The economic damage will cause many more deaths than covid will, and the damage this is doing to children is so horrific, it is on a crime against humanity level.
A similar picture in Kent and Sussex.Over the last seven days EVERY area in those counties has seen a drop in cases. Two weeks ago, every area bar one showed the infection rate rising. So you think meeting up indoors, even though you say its less safe than in a bar or somewhere, is the right thing to do? You really are some kind of idiot.
Do you honestly think that everything drops instantly? Lets not forget the fact that you are wrong in what you say anyway, but I'm sure you already know that, as it was reported in one of your favourite sources of information 2 days ago

London's winter wave of coronavirus appears to have passed its peak, as official data shows cases were falling in all 32 boroughs last week and deaths and hospital admissions have begun to plateau.
Scientists say the promising figures are proof that the tough Tier Four curbs were driving down the spread of the super-infectious Kent strain of the virus before the national lockdown.
But the trends could not have been triggered by the national lockdown that came into force on January 4 because it takes three weeks for draconian curbs to drive down infections and cases.
Public Health England statistics show cases fell in every borough of the capital over the seven days to January 12, with the London-wide infection rate plummeting by more than a quarter.
Department of Health data also reveals daily coronavirus deaths across the city had tailed off by January 10, with the curve flattening to around 157 fatalities a day. And separate data shows the capital's daily hospital admissions peaked at 864 on January 6 and have since fallen to 802.
So Tier 4 (which was pretty much a lockdown) was brought in on the 20th December. Exactly 3 weeks later deaths were starting to fall, 3 weeks being the time it takes for any restrictions to show any real effect.
So as we are in lockdown and deaths are going down in London, cases are falling countrywide, hospital admissions have slowed down, how does that mean lockdowns make them worse?
Oh look at the massive rise in infections in London last week during lockdown, oh wait, every single figure is minus.

Heres a second source

Covid bed occupancy remains very high in this area. However, admissions are falling fast. The rolling seven-day total of covid patient admissions began to fall on 10 January in London and south east and on 13 January in the east. The totals on 17 January (the latest data) are now at 88, 85 and 91 per cent of the respective peaks.
I thought we were still in lockdown, so surely the numbers should all be rising if lockdowns makes things worse?
try using a chart that isn't 7 months old, and using actual figures rather than predictions, there is enough data out there now to do that. And the answer to my other question? It doesnt really kill many people under 70 View attachment 149356
Thats because you talk absolute shite and refuse to back up any of your ridiculous claims with any form of evidence.I sometimes get the distinct impression that not everyone agrees with my views on covid, but I am right lol

Elderly and vulnerable shield voluntarily, all resources into hospitals and care homes. everything else as normal.
Also, don't forget, 'underlying health conditions' in the figures include eczema and hayfever, so they would have to shield too. There are around 10 million people in the UK with hayfever, and 15 million with eczema. Thats a lot of people who have to shield!Ok, so let's assume we do this. The elderly get their pension so that's alright but how exactly are the vulnerable, there are plenty of people with chronic illnesses who could get in a very bad way when they catch covid, that work a fulltime job going to be compensated? Does their employer have to pay them while they shield at home? Will the government have to step in? Who will determine who's qualified as a vulnerable person that can be excused from his job until we enter the endemic stage?
Still haven't answered my question?Wen we are all in the poor house, and the NHS is abandoned due to being unaffordable, I think many people will regret these lockdowns.
No one under 60 needs to shield unless they are extremely ill or vulnerable. Also, don't forget, 'underlying health conditions' in the figures include eczema and hayfever, so they would have to shield too. What do you class as vulnerable then?No one under 60 needs to shield unless they are extremely ill or vulnerable.
Still haven't answered my simple question? We can all argue about lockdown effectiveness. Lets talk about them being immoral, and anyone wanting to "stay at home" can always, you know, not go out?

Exactly, so lockdowns are totally pointless, as well as horrifically destructive. If society goes on as usual you can't just decide to stop being a part of it because it means all regular stuff will go ahead and people with a job or those that go to school or attend university can't just stay at home for the time being. Even if they're vulnerable or prefer to stay safe they would have to venture out.
When a society as a whole is concerned 1+1 is never just 2.
