Col they did increase the amount of testing options last week. As a measure of increased testing look at the death rates or hospitalisationsTesting hasn't increased as much over the last few days as the cases have though, and any hospitalization / deaths wouldn't show in any figures yet. Plus it seems to be mainly younger people getting it, so the risk of hospital treatment or death is greatly reduced.
The figures on hereCol they did increase the amount of testing options last week. As a measure of increased testing look at the death rates or hospitalisations

But as they are testing far more people then they will find more cases. How can a pandemic be so deadly when you need to be tested to learn that you have it?
This "Pandemic" has been blown up out of all proportion. They claimed that 1% of the population or more would die of it. 0.1% have actually died of it but the original figures projected allowed lock down measures and all of the ruin that has followed. Sweden if I recall correctly .06% without lock down and without the impact on our lives and future. The figures on hereYou do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.go up to Friday and show the tests processed has been roughly level for a couple of weeks.
It doesn't help that it's proving almost impossible to book a test a lot of the time, seen loads of people round us saying they are being told to travel to Leeds or Edinburgh as they are the closest places with tests available. They also don't tell you about the walk in ones you can use, which is a bit shit.
Edit: Sorry the tests are up to Wednesday last week, dumbasss here can't read a calendar properly
Testing figures for the week: 27th August - 2nd September (% = Positivity of Tests Processed)
Aug 27th: 184,461 (0.83%)
Aug 28th: 178,203 (0.72%)
Aug 29th: 168,684 (0.66%)
Aug 30th: 170,574 (1.01%)
Aug 31st: 166,871 (0.84%)

Whats that blog, it seems to say the following is more likely
Because a newer and betterYou do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.ends with August 4, its low estimate of COVID-19 deaths (under 61,000 as of April 15) misses five months of 2020 and is therefore surely too optimistic for the whole year. Yet the IHME estimates will nonetheless prove enormously closer to reality than the archaic overstuffed Imperial College prediction of 2.2 million deaths.
It says the estimate of 61000 deaths in the US by August 4th is more likely to be correct, theres been what? 3 times that amount? And that was with measures brought in to stop the spread.
The imperial college report was based on absolutely nothing changing in behaviour, and was absolute worse case scenario. I thought that was pretty clear at the time, I certainly knew thats what it was saying.
They obviously did know about it.It is very specific
Another case of removing information that they do not want you to see. If you check the link at the bottom of my above quote you will not find any mention of Covid19. Instead they have all been changed to medical suppliesAs an update. The ACDC has now hidden their statistics and the few American publications that reported it have now removed any trace of these facts.
As an aside the pregnant women arrested for posting a protest gathering video after watching it a few times makes me wonder. The cops state that they will take away every device including mobiles from their home. How come the video appeared so quickly from his mobile?
How come that an obscure organisation that I have never heard of knew about covid 19 long before it happened? I am surprised it has not been removed by either google or any other browser prompting? It will go just like so many other links I have posted in this thread many months ago.
Here it is

Who owns The Scientist and where do they get their funding from?About that 6% figure. Did they really admit that? Or is there another side to the story?
Just asking, I haven't read up on that one in depth.

So am I lolFurguson's original maths model was wildly inaccurate and he downgraded his estimates massively yet the original estimates is what they based their measures on in both the UK and in America. Sorry if my links are not the best but I am slotting to so i'm distracted

I totally agree with you. It does not help matters when evidence, medically peer reviewed statistics,World renowned medical experts who are more than qualified to be heard are de-platformed and opinions are removed from everywhere as well as being "debunked" by "fact checkers".So am I lol
It will be years before we can say with any certainty the answers to the what if's.
I don't think everything was done right, but hindsight is great, and no doubt the governments and scientists all wish they had the knowledge they have now, back then.
The main thing I personally think is important, is excess deaths. They were what, 60k over the average in March/April ish? And that was after a very mild winter, where you would expect them to be below average. The lockdown might or might not have been the right thing to do in the form it was done, but I think it was needed to change people's attitudes. Look at the situation today, no one cares, and the figures are starting to rise again.
I've been in 2 shops today, one had 4 people in, not one wearing a mask. Another had about a dozen, there was one wearing one, a woman in her 60's.
Took my daughter to uni today. The rules they sent out included
ALL people entering the building MUST have masks on, everyone will have their temperature taken, no one from outside the individual living units are allowed to enter them, only residents.
I, nor my daughter or her friend, had our temps taken, the two of them didn't wear masks, I did the first 2 times I went in, the 3rd time I wasn't actually meant to be going in so didn't have one on, but ended up actually going upstairs into her unit, where I stood and spoke to the security guard for about 5 minutes. Not a thing was said about me being there, not having a mask on, or taking my temperature.
Pubs are full, no social distancing in a lot of them.
People in shops think because they have a mask on it's some sort of force field that stops the virus, bumping into each other etc.
These same people will have been out clapping for the NHS and will be the first to complain when stricter measures are brought in.
I'll put money on the pubs & possibly restaurants being closed at some point over the next month or so again, certainly if we see a big increase in cases tomorrow and the days to come.
And who funds and owns snopes?
My last thing on this for tonight and I think that all sides will get something from this. It is peer reviewed and the full report is worth the time readingSo am I lol

Which suggests that as Sweden's death rate was something like half of what it was in the UK without a lock down preferring its population to act like sensible adults that they got it right.Whether you want to believe that Coronavirus exists or not, whether you want to think that only 6% of the actual deaths linked to Covid-19 are really Covid-19 deaths, the graph below shows what happened in the UK - at its peak nearly twice as many people died as would normally die.
It mightnt have been coronavirus, but there was certainly something causing these deaths.

As I said, culture is very different in Sweden than in the UK. You aren't comparing like for like, and forgetting their infection rate is higher than ours and only slightly lower on deaths. If they got it right, how are their figures not so much better than ours?Which suggests that as Sweden's death rate was something like half of what it was in the UK without a lock down preferring its population to act like sensible adults that they got it right.
Guess who has just been given the job of Vice-chair of the WHO's Strategic and Technical Advisory Group on Infectious Hazzards? The very same guy who went against the World and mastered Sweden's policy on Covid19

I have to admire the very clever use of language and the manipulation of how the figures where re-presented in this article. Who is the Chief Exec of the NIAID who he wheeled out to back him up in the interview? Fouci !And who funds and owns snopes?

The article/s where very selective with the truth about Mikkelson. And Mikkelson had not been transparent with its readers or those who they asked to donate funds via go.fundme in order to bail his company out that he had drained to near death by his greed and lust for spending and prostitutes. The people looking at the site is funding it.

On February 1, 2019, Snopes announced that it had ended its fact-checking partnership with Facebook. There are alot of fact checking sites on the internet, so you do not have to rely on Snopes if you dont want to.The article/s where very selective with the truth about Mikkelson. And Mikkelson had not been transparent with its readers or those who they asked to donate funds via go.fundme in order to bail his company out that he had drained to near death by his greed and lust for spending and prostitutes.
He paid for prostitutes on his expenses and then he divorced his wife to marry a porn star which was also paid for on his expenses. He used company expenses to pay for personal legal fees which his co owners estimated to amount to $100,000.
An advertising and media company made similar claims against him. They claim that Mikkelson used concealment and subterfuge to gain control of the company while draining its profits.
Phil Plait is a huge Billy Gates supporter and big vaccination advocate who has publicly supported Gates many times as well as being a democrat.
But Snopes is a reputable fact checking site, right?
I never use fact checker sites so I would not know if there are any or many reliable ones. As I have stated in the past more than once I also never visit Qanon either save for one time a few months ago to see for myself what the fuss was about. There are alot of fact checking sites on the internet, so you do not have to rely on Snopes if you dont want to.
Is there any of the fact checking done by snopes in particular you think is wrong?
Because regarding this Qanon conspiracy theory that cdc quietly updated the numbers all of the fact checking sites ive looked at kind of say the same thing.
Ive never said you were a part of Qanon or that you valued their site.I never use fact checker sites so I would not know if there are any or many reliable ones. Do you tie me in with Qanon still because it is not the first time that you have inferred that I value that site?
Could you point out where I mentioned Qanon first?Ive never said you were a part of Qanon or that you valued their site.
It was you who started talking about "news" spread by them.
I just offered a different opinion, but you are free to believe what you want.
You keep twisting my words.Could you point out where I mentioned Qanon first?
Edit. I have no issue with folk having a differing opinion to mine. If we all thought the same life would be very boring and there would be little need for a discussion forum
So. An article that I referred too which was reproduced on very many websites you presume that I found in Qanon? You keep twisting my words.
I have never said you mentioned Qanon anywhere.
In this post you spread the conspiracy created by them as fact.
Coronavirus
"Something that has not been reported in the media, found in a google virus update search or snopes virus update search or other funded fact.checkers.
The American Center for Disease Control and Prevention have admitted that only 6% of those who had previously been claimed to of died of Covid had died of it. Most of the deaths where the very old or very ill with at least 2 co morbidities and where dying anyhoo. "
Yes, i know that is what you believe, and thats fine.So. An article that I referred too which was reproduced on very many websites you presume that I found in Qanon?
It was originally posted on the American Center for Disease Control, not made up by any other site.
Read what is said in Fauci's interview that I linked too a little earlier.
)I'm not too bothered about arguing too much but I do have my eye on Ben's Corona cooking spot as he seems to have vacated it and I would bring it down to another levelYes, i know that is what you believe, and thats fine.
And now its all covered up, and the papers writing about it has hidden everything.
Its all a big conspiracy.
Too tired for this, you will have to go on without me Geordie.
