Well winter makes no difference.

This is Scotland where summer , winter all the same.

Pisses with rain all year round.

But plenty other things that have a far greater chance of killing you than this virus. Fact doctors still want to just treat you over phone rather than seeing patients is going to lead to a hell of a lot of deaths in next few years.

6 months since lockdown and doctors surgeries still basically closed. Now that is the joke and worrying thing.

I've STILL a Dr's appt from March been pushed to later this month (no doubt, to be bumped another 2-3 months) :eek2:

I've told you, that cream will get rid of that rash in a few days so there's no need to visit them.
if theres a cream can repair a few shoulder muscles, ill take 3 bottles :D

Yeah tell me about it. Was getting blood took several times in March as potassium level was sky high. As it dropped on last test till just slightly high it all got put on hold as surgery not seeing people. Still no idea why it was dangerously high for a month.

Then 2 weeks ago it was some performance to get a doctors appointment for something else. Stupid receptionists eventually let me get a call from doctor after telling them that sending photos of problem would be no good. After eventually speaking to doctor she says need to go to surgery for face to face appointment. Like okay what do you think i have been trying yo do for days.

Luckily she referred to hospital and appointment was within 2 weeks.

But how many people would just go it probably is not important and not worth the hassle and just leave it. By time they see someone chances are it will be too late.

Yeah virus is bad but putting everything on hold because of it will do more damage in long run.

Yeah i am starting to sound so bitchy and depressing these days. Well more than i normally am

Yeah, a lot of cancer in my family.
Sure, feel fine but there's a reason I'm keen for physicals every year; imagine being told 'OooOOoo, if ONLY ya were here 2 month ago'

Not worried about the virus, of greater concern is witnessing governments' bungling second time around, because they would have learnt precisely nothing
Many governments are now in a difficult position between their confusing and nonsensical advice/guidelines/new laws verses the evidence (suppressed) that is becoming more and more irrifutable.
Couple that with any possible "second wave" then they will have great difficulty in being taken seriously.
For the large part people are losing the fear that had them compliant for 6 months which has allowed them to open their eyes. IMO

First time I have seen this, I couldn't hear everything that was said. Aussies are strong, this will not be over I'm sure.
the things 2020 has thrown at you guys?
Damned skippy you are :)

Yes it's not very clear towards the end, basically the police want all of her internet capable devices, phones, computers, tablets etc...it'll probably end up as a huge fine, making an example of her to scare anyone else from dissenting. And no doubt the fundraising sites will block any appeals/campaign on their behalf, putting this young couple in a tight position.

Here, a day before the recent lockdown protest we had in london, the govt rushed in new laws to restrict such peaceful protests giving authority to issue large fines.

And yet violent political riots [where police officers were physically attacked] and trouble in central london were tolerated a month back or so, with no big fines for organisers afaik

Another movie that will be removed from everywhere because of stereotyping blacks as bad knife wielding muggers :D:D:D:D I think where I live its a rather accurate reflection though
It’s factual for a lot of people sadly.

but she was soooo hot in that movie, the bending over scene where the croc is there is a cinematic masterpiece.

Quick one as a tired bear.

spatchock chicken (what’s left of it)
chips (oven)
Onion rings m and s (but oven)
And some green stuff.

bit of hot sauce and a juice.

Re...

Auch, i give up.

German police at it now:

Don't get me wrong, that seems like the police is using excessive force to arrest a 60 year old woman.

But as usual the clip starts when the police is intervening, do we know what the woman has done? I know it's in fashion to bash the police for everything, except when they paralyze or kill a black guy then they are always within their rights...

Dumbest tweet I saw today.

If you use terms like "Merkels Stasi" as an opener you disqualify yourself from every discussion right from the start. People using that word mostly don't even know what Stasi was.

"Confiscating kids from homes & sending them to gov't corona facilities" roflmao, what a load of BS. We never even had a 100% lockdown here. And there are surely no Corona facilities for kids. :D

And why not end the tweet with another lie that Merkel funds the Antifa.

And the video shows only half of the story. The woman was asked to leave the place multiple times, she refused and starting fighting with the police. She kicked one officer in the stomach and tried to bite another. The officer punching is investigated by the Berlin Police. She was escorted to an ambulance where she refused to be checked by a doctor. After that she was free to go.

Right.. So there was a backstory, who would've thunk it eh?

It's become abundantly clear that there is no middle ground anymore when discussing politics: either you're a BLM antifa marxist or you're a good ole fascist.

Also, for those who didn't know it yet: science isn't politics. A virus doesn't care if you are a socialist, neo-nazi, liberal, conservative, straight down the middle or even an anarchist.

They're not perfect, they're human. some are assholes. Like other humans.
But I don't really get that 2nd paragraph.
Assuming you're referring to the recent guy who was paralysed when the cop shot him in the back..

If you watch the full video, rather than the cut down video which the (as usual, pretty much lime you said above) MSM loves to show, it can be seen clear as day that the (now paralysed) guy is resisting arrest, who possibly had a knife (unless the pic i saw was shopped) and when told, after resisting arrest, NOT to go into his car, being screamed at - to not do it, he ignores the multiple requests. knowing he has a gun pointed st him but still ignores the command andleans into his car (isnt getting in to drive, he leans in for something..) It's almost as if he wanted to die.

So, If he is reaching in for a gun (Its not going be a bunch of flowers to handto the cop, is it? considering the events leading upto that ) him leaning in for a weapon being highly probable, so, in your eyes -what is the cop supposed to do? wait for him to pick up a weapon which he can use without even having to turn around and fire it?

He obviously didn't go down from the first shot or 3, so those bullets hadn't removed the danger of the cop(s) getting killed in response. He made himself a threat. If the guy had simply done what was asked of him (over and over again) he would not have been shot.

I don't care if he is Black or White, though I'm sure we would have never even heard about it if he was White.

My point is that these laws are there for a reason. If a cop had to wait until a gun was pulled on him before firing back, what in the hell do you think would be the average life expectancy for a police officer, especially in the US? A few months would ge my guess.
It's that simple. That is why you obey police orders, especially when resisting arrest after giving signs of being violent.
Otherwise, who in the hell would ever even apply for the police force? You'd literally be signing your own death certificate

The police has less lethal options too like tazers, I saw the video too and they even had more than enough time to tackle him with the 3 or 4 of them...

Also, afaik cops are taught to shoot in the leg to incapacitate a perp rather than shooting him in the back. A mate of mine is a cop and he told me one of their basic rules when they don't have any other options left is to aim for the legs and then apprehend the perp.

Yeah i get all that. It's just, they deal with similar situations all the time. Unfortunately they have to make decisions that can go wrong.
He obviously got up, walked away (bloody cops, how they let him get up i dont know lol) .. into the car. The only problem i have with shooting him in the leg is that it wouldnt have de-esculated the threatening situation since he was already in reach of a weapon. If anything it may make him want toretaliate with a weapon even more.
Yes, they could have shot him in the leg as he walked around the car...
but then, everyone would be screaming they shot him for walking.
Its a lose lose for a cop in todays climate.
just my opinion of course.

Thing is he wasn’t left leaning at all.
Would you like a link?
I dont believe suffer was suggesting he was, rather, both left and right ideologists use 'Orwellian' futures as warnings :)
