Corona virus - Covid 19 discussion

I would think it would be both, no? Cardiac arrest due to complications from Influenza. Like back when HIV/AIDS was a death sentence before the anti-virals. People died of secondary infections like pneumonia but they were susceptible to infection because they had HIV.

Anyone know for certain?

IMO it depends if the heart attack is related to the flu. It could also be not related at all.

It's important for the statistics that every death during this COVID-19 pandemy is registered with the correct cause of death. After all we'll base our approach of a possible next wave or a future pandemic on stats from the past.

It was withdrawn then so can't quote that.

Yep see the video posted about the certificates being manipulated, by a person who has more than 2 decades of dealing with them.

Btw I found the guy from IRC witch matches up with the timeline, almost got his name right, was a long time ago now, I still get flashes of talking to him in the chat window.

The actual cause of death for COVID-19 positive patients could be a lot of things: septic shock, cardiac arrest, terminal respiratory failure, multiple organ failure. But since the COVID-19 virus caused or exacerbated those conditions then the death should be attributed to COVID-19.

I watched your video on bitchute and looked up the doctor. For those that don't know, bitchute is a platform for conspiracy theorists and the extreme right. This Dr. Annie Bukacek is an anti-vaxxer, Montana pro-life coalition president, pro-gun NRA activist, and under investigation for Medicaid fraud.

Anyway, this is a quote from the video:

“If a patient is positive for COVID-19 and dies from another cause such as pneumococcal sepsis, it may be considered accurate to say that person died with COVID-19 not from COVID-19. Yet the CDC guideline lists this case as one more COVID-19 death and they go to the next questionable death, they label that as COVID-19 and it goes on and on."

So what she is saying is that the patient died from pneumonia and not COVID-19. That is like a person getting in a car accident and dying from blood loss and the doctor saying the blood loss was the cause of death, NOT the car accident. True, but I mean come on! The public isn't stupid and can see that argument is illogical and manipulative.

So was the virus the real cause? Well, the patient presented with all of the symptoms of COVID-19 in the middle of a pandemic then died of say respiratory failure from pneumonia. Respiratory failure is the cause of death but the COVID-19 infection caused the lung inflammation that lead to respiratory failure.

She said:
“Physicians make their best guesstimate and fill out the form then that listed cause of death, whatever we list, is entered into a vital records databank to use for statistical analysis . . . So even before we heard of COVID-19, death certificates were based on assumptions and educated guesses that go unquestioned.”

Well if that is true and doctors usually make an educated guess as to the cause of death, then this is no different. The CDC guidelines are logical. COVID-19 has shut down the world economy, overwhelmed hospitals, and caused the complete breakdown of some healthcare systems. Historically, politically, and in the interest of public health it is important to know how many deaths were a result of the virus. It doesn’t matter if it was the direct or indirect cause of death or indirect cause of death.

Dr. Annie Bukacek is an alt-right dodgy charlatan and not credible IMO.

Fair enough. But it is accommodating to far-right groups and conspiracy theorists including hate speech and misinformation. And people often use "free speech" as an excuse to promote hate and violence.
Remember libel, incitement of violence and child pornography are all forms of speech. Free speech does not mean free from accountability.

A few main reasons for that.

Chinese use mostly pre-paid cards for their mobiles. If you do not top-up every month, they expire. (That's how it was when I was last time there. Over the years, I had in total probably 20 Chinese SIM cards as I would regularly get a new one on arrival)

Second, many have dual SIM phones, e.g. one for calls and one for data. Or because they travel, and network coverage from one provider is poor in some areas where others do better.

The third one is that China has over 100 million migrant workers. Once they stop working, they do not earn any money, so they will have stopped using mobile phones for internet access while in lockdown and relied on the widely available Wi-Fi (which is free in many cities but heavily controlled by the government).

I am sure the numbers from China are not 100% correct but surely not higher by that magnitude. Plus, which country has exact numbers?

Bill Gates is pushing for the world to partake in a COVID-19 vaccination. He has declared large public gatherings may not return at all until everyone has received it. This will also lead to digitized signatures that we must have in order to return to our everyday lifestyle. Ultimately, Bill wants to implant the United States with microchips in the near future to obtain even more data that we have a right to choose to keep private. This petition is to stop that from happening.

Nice one I was just saying to a work mate that ever death in the last 3 weeks has been COV-19 nobody seems to be dying of anything els.
No heart attacks/cancers/strokes/clots/murders/accidents ETC it’s obvious the figures are up the left but I’m sure it will all come out in the dirty washing.

Hate speech is a very slippery slope when it comes to WHO and WHAT determines as hate speech Speech ought not to be policed IMHO. People have the right to ignore the idiots but hate speech is a slippery slope to Newspeak and PC run amok. I hear the argument you just gave all the time from people who wish to control people. CP is illegal and doesn't fall into the purview of free speech. Oh and incidentally a lot of people and I am not implying you yourself that want to promote hate speech do promote the ability of MAPS to express themselves so that there is an oxymoron.
As an aside just look at the multitude of documentaries like looking for Bigfoot, Alien Encounters et. al that get aired on cable TV pushing crazy conspiracies and people just laugh and ignore but don't call for cancelling them. BitChutte is a target because it's not controlled by big tech. I follow quite normal people who don't espouse conspiracy theories or hateful narratives on there.

P.S. There are laws on the books in every civilized society that outlaw speech that calls to violence so there you go. Not to mention mainstream news that are abound with unfounded conspiracies.

Some hope in the news today?? Just ignore the part where the media declared the mysterious COVID 19 emerged in January and not from the end of November possibly. I know there are currently 70 labs possibly more working on vaccines and effective treatments for this but this does look promising.

Sounds like the drug dealers are suffering along with the rest of us, having to throw drugs to customers
to comply with social distancing, cant hang around on the streets either as they stick out like a sore thumb.
Been no stabbings since the lockdown either.
They are saying normal operations will resume asap.
Police shoud be raiding as many of the dealers own homes as possible during the lockdown as all the cash and drugs are stored there instead of safe and cuckoo houses

Interestingly, my cousin who lives next door to a couple of police officers, was told that crime is way down as a result of the lockdown here in the UK. I guess with everyone being at home, burglary rates have plummeted also!

But, I imagine there will be a tipping point, with potential civil / social unrest the further into lockdown we go. Especially so if the food supply chain breaks.....

I agree I am absolutely astounded what kind of mentality a person has, what goes through that persons head to say that CP falls under free speech, that is an absolutely ridiculous thing to say, to say that it falls under free speech is beyond ridiculous, a desperate attempt to demonise people who are for free speech by making them look like a pedo, that is what it looks like, I was a victim of sexual abuse as a child, and I still have the memories of that 30 years later, I should probably not mention this because I will no doubt be accused of making it about myself and playing the sympathy card, there are many things on TV that are worse than what get's put on places like Bitchute, but nobody bats an eyelid, for my own sanity I will refrain from looking at this thread anymore, stay safe everyone.

I have no interest in controlling people. My views on free speech can be pretty much summed up by this quote (article link below):
Regarding the free speech argument: “You have the right to express yourself and your opinions, no matter how offensive they may be, until your chosen form of expression impedes my rights to be free from defamation and harassment.”

This was said by Larry Pozner, the father of a six year old killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. Alex Jones and Infowars amplified and propagated the conspiracy theory that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax, never happened and Larry became his target.

This poor guy and his family have had to move 8 times in 5 years because Alex Jones fanatics keep posting his address online, calling his home, and sending him death threats. This is a very difficult situation to police and contain even though “there are laws on the books.”

When Alex Jones was kicked out of YouTube and almost every other social media platform for crap like this, he then moved on over to Bitchute to continue profiteering from spreading harmful BS.

Remember, it was Bitchute that kicked off this discussion. I called it the home of the alt-right and conspiracy theorists and you defended it as the last bastion of free speech. My point was, and is, that some online “free speech” has very IRL consequences for the victims of conspiracy theorists. Big foot stories or alien theories do not typically ruin people’s lives. When I said free speech is often used as an excuse, it was examples like this one I was referring to.

Jones defended his conduct citing free speech grounds. The Pozner family harassment continues to this very day. But free speech gives everyone a free pass, amirite?

Uh yeah, I never said child pornography falls under free speech. I said it was one of many repulsive things that are a form of speech. Because, extremists have cited free speech in the past in defense of CP. The point was not all forms of speech are okay and fall under free speech grounds. But you missed that.

No free speech doesn't allow you to defame people or make any threats or call to violence. Maybe you ought to explore BitChutte a bit more and you will be less inclined to focus on channels that confirm your bias towards the site. Take a look at this guy for example
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

He is on YouTube and Bitchutte and probably more places. He called the Coronavirus Pandemic very early on along with others with his questioning of the WHO'S insistence that travel between China and the rest of the world should carry on. Yes, this guy is a bit odd but he is a Libertarian and gives the news with a bit of a chuckle. My point is to not tar everyone with the same brush before you declare everyone on a site to be a far rightest and keep an open mind. Also, stay safe and healthy!

Wouldnt it be safer to live next to people that not are armed if shit hits the fan?
What you gonna do when neighbour-cop comes over and rob you of all your toilet paper?

"But you are supposed to keep me safe"
"That was before the apocalypse Dio, now all i care about is having a clean poop chute"

Damn.
Dude has been uploading 4.3 videos per day for 2 years and 7 months.
And to like a bunch of different sites.
Is that the way he makes his living, because just managing&uploading the videos must take alot of time.
Went down the rabbithole and he seems to be a big fan of the occult.

Edit: i should add this was not meant as a diss.
Some of it was quite interesting.

Feel free to ask me any questions you can think of.

qpcr, rt-pcr, pcr. Nucleic acid technology, so basically we test for the RDRP and Egene for coronavirus, Its extracted from ribonucleic acid from sputum, naso swab and oro swab. Yes those take time. We had a backlog of 11,000 but thats now well under 1000.

The blood tests havent been approved yet here. But we do have a rapid test kit called the Spartan Cube which is basically a dna analyzer and then you take the throat swab and put into the device. It takes about half an hour to get the results back.

As for false negatives, yeah we have that in probably 25% of tests. They come back negative but then are later to be found positive or even have the symptoms and still post negative

As for the primers we have a company actually not far from us called bio basics, I would say its a 25 minutes drive from our hospital, thats how close it is.
Hi Lockinlove. I hope that your well?
Have you any data on which groups are effected the most by this virus? I have read reports recently about obesity being amongst the worst effected alongside ethnic minorities, immunity compromised, Very poor diet and the aged. Does that correlate with your findings?
Also, what medications are being used to treat those who are most ill? Does Hydroxychloroquine play a part?

Thanks in advance

How does being an ethnic minorty make the virus affect you more?
I could understand if it was a uk-homegrown virus that uk folks had better resistance against compared to someone from another country.
I cant see how the black family in my little village would somehow be worse affected when nobody here has any sort of resistance to the virus.

The other you mentioned, obesity, diet, aged, etc sounds much more reasonable to me.

Black Chicagoans account for half of all coronavirus cases in the city and more than 70% of deaths, despite making up 30% of the population.

Other cities with large black populations, including Detroit, Milwaukee, New Orleans and New York, have become coronavirus hotspots.

Mayor Lightfoot said diabetes, heart disease and respiratory illness were "really prevalent" in black communities.

Me and the missus just had the best Corona row, first one in a very long time

Needless to say it ended with me winning (in my mind) with her winning in reality. Lasted about as long as me during love-making, 5 minutes and it was all over. Then I rolled over and fell asleep

There is beginning to be a "flattening off" in the number of hospital admissions, Sir Patrick added

View attachment 127638View attachment 127639

Given the quantity of field hospitals and morgues being set up around the world without being used and a number of countries having flattened the curve it makes me wonder if they are expecting a second more deadly wave at some point.
More than the economy I am becoming concerned with what is happening with food supplies alongside all sorts of other supplies that each country relies upon.
Countries are no longer transporting which leaves fresh produce rotting in the fields as well as meat and dairy products going to waste. If it hasn't already started then soon farmers will begin slaughtering their livestock without being able to transport.
If our Countries are dealing with national security then why are they not dealing with these issues before we begin to starve?

So they are basically saying its due to a higher % of black people (or african american) having other medical issues making them more likely to be infected and having a tougher time with the virus, right?

Have they looked at how it looks income-wise in the areas worst affected?
Being poor in USA may mean you cant afford to go to the doctor.
Was wondering if maybe there were similar numbers in poor communities where white people are the majority.

Or, the virus is racist.
