I have my phone at a repairshop, and the owner is in the hospital (not corona related) so im kind of stuck using my old one for the time being.

After some negative comments regarding my ‘corona cooking with playford’
I’ve decided to post a meal this evening, so a massive FU to the haters and naysayers to such a fantastic thing.
I’ve cooked some snacks to accompany my meal this evening, so in a hour or so I’ll present food like the world has not seen!..

Yes **some hospitals** in **some countries** may or possibly be slow, My family is operation room nurse so she is trying to get hours in other areas of the hospital, friend's daughter is painting a different picture and there were too many bodies for what they were equipped.

Other than that hi @lockinlove. If I ever get sick can I check into the hospital you work at so you can visit me!? I will ask for the person with the yellow mask.

@slotmaster . I have family and friends who work in the medical profession also. Some working 16 hour days and staying in hotels close to the hospitals so they can get the required sleep in with out travel time.

Retired staff all volunteering and going back to work.

All non urgent operations cancelled and staff redeployed. A&E is obviously quieter as most people are at home doing naff all, so no Work/sport/car/drunken fights, ect ect ect accidents to deal with.

But in Nutnuts world, none of this is happening

You do realise the amount of people that die daily in this country?

Every death is real every day, whether corona effected or not, just because this is in the news doesn't make it anymore worse. How about we have the photos of the people killed from domestic violence and suicide during this lockdown?. The world has to go on and function at some point, this won't go away but life has to get back to normal.

Anyway I think the end of May is looking realistic right now, though my work place has a 6 month plan in place which is utterly ridiculous if it took that long.

I think the key point to Corona is that whilst it's 'likened' to the flu and other potentially-fatal-for-vulnerable-groups ilnesses, its dangerous in its spread, and highly, highly contagious.

Whilst I've been in crowds where I've swerved coughs & sneezes and come away unscathed, the merest contact from a Covid-19 carrier and I wouldn't fancy my odds of not contracting it.

Also worth noting whilst many 'healthy' people may just exhibit mild symptoms, the thought of indirectly infecting someone from it from reckless social interactions fills me with dread. Imagine knowing (or not) that you've led to someone's agonizing death, or that they were infected from a person you spoke to etc

Also those that end up going on ventilators end up staying on them. It's almost like last rites for a large percentage of patients.

Hence why my facial hair's at about 38% capacity now. It's looking good, in a David Bellamy kind of way

That is true the countries like New Zealand and Argentina who acted much much quicker will definitely fare better.

I am sure I read somewhere that today's high death rate may have been because of some of the cases not being reported earlier and clumped into todays figures. Sure I read it somewhere on the BBC website but can't find it quickly now.

Yeah, i read that chiropracticians were not so happy about him running around spreading his homemade practices. Something about him setting them back decades it took for them to actually be acknowledged as a real thing.
