We started changing appointments to telephone appointments today from face to face and OMG did some people not like it, a couple of people threatening to make complaints to the official NHS organisations and what is the point in offering services if I can't see anyone etc.

One of the people was not even needing emergency treatment just hormone medication.

I really hate the general public glad I don't work with the public on a daily basis anymore.

Same here, I will beg on the streets before I work with the public and I say this as I am in a bad situation even before all this happening.

There are only 8 games to go it will be finished, Leeds, Sheffield Utd, Wolves will sue if it's postponed, itv Calendar said tonight it could cost Sheffield Utd £40m in lost revenue if the season is abandoned and Leeds a lot more so they will finish it somehow.

Just been walk in center as had a chesty cough with lot of mucus and sneezing, shortness of breathe,
Spoke to 111 before just to make sure I could go they said yes as it wasnt a dry cough. I went and was made to wear gloves and face mask cause i had a cough, I was in an isolated area everyone staring at me, Next came doctor in gloves face mask the works, went to hes room told him my symptoms. he took my temperature and he said it was slightly raised, then he listen to my back and said he could hear a faint noise, in middle of lungs or something, said it could be start of a chest infection. I said can you not do a test to check if its corona he said no, even thou near me there are drive through where you can go and check your mouth swabbed and checked for coronavirus!, He said to self isolate for 7 days and he gave me a prescription for antibiotics.
As someone who suffers from anxiety and over thinking im trying so hard not to think the worse, I kinda wish I didn't go now as I wouldn't of know. So I just hope its nothing major and its just a slight infection which will get better with antibiotics

NHS111 should be advising no one to go to the doctors with a cough UNLESS it is a long term cough, no one should go to the GP surgery at the moment if they have a cough or a temp of over 38.5c,

Why NHS111 are not providing the right information be investigated

You will be ok mate just try and stay calm easier said than done as anxiety is horrible but try and do things at home which doesn’t involve news or newspapers Cos that can defo tip you over the edge
