ConnectoCasino gives Afilliate the High Hard One

Signed up as an affiliate for ConnectoCasino last month. Commission owed is a mere $302. The information they provide as to procedures etc. on there site is skimp, so I started to send out e mails the last week of Dec. I've tried support@ affiliatemanager@ withdrawls@ josh@ john@ (which are all published e mail addys) and I get zero response. The live chat is useless, as they just give me the run around even telling me that the manager was out sick!! They did give me a customer support phone number which after 3 days of busy signals I finally got through. More run around, she said the guy wasn't in and that payments are processed on the 7th. This was the 8th or 9th I spoke to them. Unreal. Is this company still in business? How can they not afford a $302 payout? I pimped their site and gave them 195 players, which 2 actually deposited (so far). They offer the $41 chip no deposit required, what happened, did some players get lucky on it and this is my punishment? WTF is going on?

It sounds to me like you did as much homework on the Casinomeister's site as you did on the Connect to Casino site. Anyone ANYONE that directs traffic to the Connect to Casino site shouldn't be looking for any sympathy here.

No, it's not a different story at all. But I can tell you that there are a few gamblers on this site that exercise due diligence before jumping into a casino such as Connect to Casino. Had you exercised any due diligence at all you would never have hooked up with those clowns in the first place. Have a good one.

Well yes, it is different. The difference is that a player knows he has responsibility only to himself, whereas an affiliate has responsibility as great as the internet is wide. A player who doesn't bother to do his homework is a schmuck. An affiliate who doesn't do his homework is a crook.

You are sending players to a scum casino. Furthermore you are (trying to get) paid for doing it. Why should we have sympathy for you? You are part of whats wrong with this industry. If you are having problems now, what do you think will happen to those players you sent there? Have you bothered to contact them about ConnectoCasino now that you know that they are scum? Or could it be that you don't care if the players you send there get ripped off as long as you think you can get money out of it?

If you are going to be an affiliate, send players to casinos that are fair and honest. You will get paid and those players you send there will get paid. Do your homework.

I wish you luck on getting your problem settled. But drop CTC and inform the players not to deposit and play there.

You're not to blame, CTC is! But, if you don't inform the players and remove the banner from your site, then you can be blamed.

Every affiliate will be accused of promoting a so-callled 'rogue' casino by one person or another.

Just do a little research on any casino before promoting them. You'll see issues being posted around against most casinos, but read of what the isssue is, how many negative posts, if resolved or not...etc.
That won't stop getting burned by one, but it will help.

We all make mistakes, and when we do, we can only work at making it right and not doing it again.

Told me last Thursday I needed a casino account in order to get a withdrawl, ok casino account opened. Told me last Friday it would be taken care of Monday....nope. That was the last communication with them on it. Crazy.....

Lurkio, it's the ones like you, with that contempt and disdain you show towards the players that provide you with an income, that make affiliates look bad. With people like you, your only concern is $$$ regardless if the players are ripped off or taken advantage of, and you promote any scummy casino that has a high percentage kickback, regardless of reputation or posted complaints.

Tell us the casinos you are an affiliate for. I'm sure they are all 'top notch' ones...

After posting this I PM'ed John again, and 3 hours later got a call from the affiliate manager. $151 has been credited to my account, the other $151 I won't see due to a bad check from a customer. TY Casinomeister.

Very little in life is a "foregone conclusion", probability rules. Therefore everything is possible including me, amongst others on this forum, losing money overall at internet casinos, just unlikely thats all.

Ah, what a pleasant thread. A few bashings, a few tangents, a few derailments - oh well, life in the cyber-world of forum administration.

One point I should make before this thread dies and slithers into the past, is that I believe there is some unnecessary casino bashing going on. I know, I know, a lot of people don't like the way connect-to-casino is managed, but jumping to conclusions or having knee-jerk reactions only leads to a bash-fest which does no one any good.

I don't like it when the forum is used as means to publicly harass someone (read person(s) or casino). I'm not saying that this applies 100% here, but Im making a general comment.

Yet I'm bringing this up because it does apply to this thread maybe not 100% but it's a high percent.

I don't know when you sent these two players to the casino, (one of which failed to qualify as a player - bad check), but you were paid on the 18th (according to the casino). But you continued to bash the casino after this date, and then thank me as if I had something to do with the payment. I didn't.

I don't mind people coming here and voicing their dissent over whatever ails them. But when it is unnecessary -- it's unnecessary. That's all I have to say.

I contacted them through here and they only started to reply after I went public, so I see your forum as what initiated their response. Not the fact that for 2 weeks prior I tried contacting them through e mail, phone and live chat with no resoultion to the issue at hand. It began as an inquiry, but turned into a hunt not long after. I was told on the 1/08 or 1/09 that payments for 12/04 (which I was owed) are processed on the 7th. Then told thriough PM's here that I need a casino account. Then finally my Neteller was credited on the 20th, after I cut and pasted the Live Chat transcript on this forum (see previous post). I got paid, issue resolved and I am done posting about this matter. I tried to bring my concern to this forum in order to reach a resolution, and tried to give only the facts without bashing. Huh, if I came right out bashing do you think I would ever see a dime? Once again, TY Casinomeister!
