Signed up as an affiliate for ConnectoCasino last month. Commission owed is a mere $302. The information they provide as to procedures etc. on there site is skimp, so I started to send out e mails the last week of Dec. I've tried support@ affiliatemanager@ withdrawls@ josh@ john@ (which are all published e mail addys) and I get zero response. The live chat is useless, as they just give me the run around even telling me that the manager was out sick!! They did give me a customer support phone number which after 3 days of busy signals I finally got through. More run around, she said the guy wasn't in and that payments are processed on the 7th. This was the 8th or 9th I spoke to them. Unreal. Is this company still in business? How can they not afford a $302 payout? I pimped their site and gave them 195 players, which 2 actually deposited (so far). They offer the $41 chip no deposit required, what happened, did some players get lucky on it and this is my punishment? WTF is going on?

    Hi Conroy:

It sounds to me like you did as much homework on the Casinomeister's site as you did on the Connect to Casino site. Anyone ANYONE that directs traffic to the Connect to Casino site shouldn't be looking for any sympathy here.

Try in the dictionary between the words shit a syphilis.

Agreed - if affiliates are going to promote casinos with bad reputations they get all they deserve.

No, it's not a different story at all. But I can tell you that there are a few gamblers on this site that exercise due diligence before jumping into a casino such as Connect to Casino. Had you exercised any due diligence at all you would never have hooked up with those clowns in the first place. Have a good one.

Well yes, it is different. The difference is that a player knows he has responsibility only to himself, whereas an affiliate has responsibility as great as the internet is wide. A player who doesn't bother to do his homework is a schmuck. An affiliate who doesn't do his homework is a crook.

You are sending players to a scum casino. Furthermore you are (trying to get) paid for doing it. Why should we have sympathy for you? You are part of whats wrong with this industry. If you are having problems now, what do you think will happen to those players you sent there? Have you bothered to contact them about ConnectoCasino now that you know that they are scum? Or could it be that you don't care if the players you send there get ripped off as long as you think you can get money out of it?

If you are going to be an affiliate, send players to casinos that are fair and honest. You will get paid and those players you send there will get paid. Do your homework.

    Conroy,

I wish you luck on getting your problem settled. But drop CTC and inform the players not to deposit and play there.

You're not to blame, CTC is! But, if you don't inform the players and remove the banner from your site, then you can be blamed.

Every affiliate will be accused of promoting a so-callled 'rogue' casino by one person or another.

Just do a little research on any casino before promoting them. You'll see issues being posted around against most casinos, but read of what the isssue is, how many negative posts, if resolved or not...etc.
That won't stop getting burned by one, but it will help.

We all make mistakes, and when we do, we can only work at making it right and not doing it again.

    Hi Conroy,

And welcome to the forum. As you can tell, it is important to do some research before jumping into the affiliate arena. Please refer yourself to the affiliate section (which needs some serious updating - don't beat me up please :D)
    http://www.casinomeister.com/affiliate.html

There is some good advice and guidance here that will probably help you out. in the meantime, if you haven't done so already, fill out a PAB and I'll see if I can't get an answer for you.

I read yesterday at gambling.com that members voted Connecto as 2nd in the Top Sites category for Dec,2004. What a shame. But you guys cant find this now because the results have been taken off and what you see there now is that there arent any results for Dec,2004.

Thanks Bry, I PAB about a week ago. Since then, I've been in touch with the registered rep through your site with no success. They blamed me saying they replied to all my e mails blah blah blah. Told me last Thursday I needed a casino account in order to get a withdrawl, ok casino account opened. Told me last Friday it would be taken care of Monday....nope. That was the last communication with them on it. Crazy.....

Man ..you just keep em coming don't you! Genius!

Conroy..you are right, the majority of posters here think themselves as semi-pro gamblers..whiter than white.. & never deserve to lose...even though they complain when things like "autoplay" dont work so they can make money when they sleep!!

Its ridiculous..an affiliate comes along and hes a crook ! Affilates try different programs all the time..you think affiliates give a hoot about what casinomeisters magnificent 7 say ?? ( sum total of regular posters)..some of whom are shills for certain software companies..I do my homework!~ lol

So you think Conroy would send traffic to connecto if he thought HE wouldnt get paid..grow up!

You haters have delusions of grandeur !

You are just pissed because affiliates make money and morons who gamble ALWAYS lose! ..and the more the better..

so before you start throwing stones remember ..

if they didnt lose, this board wouldnt be here..would it?

Thats life boys and girls! Read and weep !

    Ah Lurkio,

You were a runner-up for "Most Annoying Poster of 2004" but hahacasino beat you out. Seems like you're boning up to get a head start on 2005.

Well, if you're doing your "homework", you're a pretty shitty student. Here are the top 30 posters, so I'm sure your "7" are here.

Who's the software company shill? Point him or her out because we want to know.

And at least thirteen of these posters are webmaster/affiliates.

If you have a problem with Caruso's comment, then take the beef outside don't start slinging insults at the rest of the forum members.

So, an insinuation that this board is supported by me getting a cut from player losses. Sorry guy, I've mentioned it ad nauseam that this is not Casinomeister's business model.

Take a chill-pill Lurkio, and think about what you say before you say it. Thanks!

Lurkio, it's the ones like you, with that contempt and disdain you show towards the players that provide you with an income, that make affiliates look bad. With people like you, your only concern is $$$ regardless if the players are ripped off or taken advantage of, and you promote any scummy casino that has a high percentage kickback, regardless of reputation or posted complaints.

Tell us the casinos you are an affiliate for. I'm sure they are all 'top notch' ones...

Well Lurkio, I "gamble" and dont lose.

There are plenty of others on this forum who do the same, Clayman,Vesuvio
and KK to name just a few.

Why don't you post a link to your site, lets see who you 'recommend' I am sure some of us would get great pleasure by signing up and buggering up your stats for you!
