Close to the end

As we are moaning, Friday night I was on zoom to my mate both playing slots, he built up a £50 deposit on 21Casino to about £124. He plays at a max bet of 40p, and we were both playing "playboy fortunesView attachment 138531"

All of a sudden it came up, insufficient funds to place bet. Then he slowly realised he must have hit "max bet" (£60) and lost 2 spins without noticing.

My point being, how the hell can the "max bet" button literally be next to the spin button, there isnt even a pixel separating them on this slot. He received no warning or anything.

He was so upset we both ended our session, and I was upset as him.

So why cant the UKGC sort out things like this, ive fallen foul of max bet errors many times and they always hurt!!!
Did he contact chat or a rep? Happened to me at LV bet or L and L can’t remember which..
I bet £50 on a few spins and balance was gone, reported it and a day later had all my balance back as the reps checked my betting pattern and it was clear it was a error.

Not all casinos as bad guys as much as I look like I give them a rough ride.

Time was when a casino would happily take your house off you no questions asked, still would
given half the chance, instead they have to be good samaritans and be so concerned about you
or get the shit fined out of them, quite funny really
During Covid they really cared about our gambling, that much infact I got daily reminders about my gambling from certain casinos I’d not used in over 4 years...

Let’s be frank they just wanted to advertise they are still around and would accept my cash haha!

Hate games laid out like that, still get caught out now and then, hit the max button for a 1k spin once at
mecca a long time ago.anyway do we really want a max button, never intentionally pressed one, unless
you are really on the ball you dont know the value of the spin,it could be anything depending on whether
it selects the max coin value or max coins per line (or both)

Problem is how many players would say anything if the spin was a winner.I dont think i would.

He went on live chat, the responce was so comical I cant begin to tell you.

Basically the rep said "Hello, hope your having an awesome time tonight xxxx I cant wait to serve you better" from that moment we both knew it would be a waste of time, and 30 minutes later it was proved so, with the rep not really understanding the issue, and kept repeating, "when you press spin, you are betting the amount displayed" He gave up then and will not use 21Casino anymore , their loss in the long run, it was a totally genuine error that should never be possible to make on a CM accredited casino.

Yet I made a very similar error on a CM casino a few weeks back, same response. The max bet button is a nasty and rogue thing, especially when it sits right next to the spin button and no warming is displayed before spunking off you entire balance.

Agree, but if it’s bonus money the player would lose either way...As it would be taken away as max bet using bonus cash would be active... if it’s a mistake then certainly your better off telling a rep or live chat straight away.

Should of held out mate and tried the rep on here.
It worked for me zero issues, it was clear as hell however as didn’t go over £1 spins, but 3 random at £50 was obvious it was a error...

That said similar happened on a genesis brand (wank brand avoid like aids) a few years back and was a waste of time, was casino cruise I think... about 3 years back, he was just a tosser and the brand lost my custom...
Just aswel reply as they are gone from the U.K. haha unlucky genesis you clowns!.,

I've done this sort of thing on VS a few times on slots from certain providers but luckily I've got my max bet set to something like 50p, and you also get a warning from some providers like Wazdan when you've accidentally pressed the max bet button. The button is totally unnecessary in any case, and having it anywhere near the SPIN button is asking for trouble. I'm sure there is plenty of analytical data that will show how often the button gets used, and it's probably fewer times than the number of complaints online casinos get from players having used it by mistake.

The UKGC don't know about this because if they did they'd do something about it. Maybe they do know about it but don't care. Or maybe getting providers to disbale or move the button is too difficult, and it's easier to limit the spin time on slots to 3 fucking seconds instead?

One day they might get round to making the machine limit the bet when playing bonus money, not that
hard, they know when you are playing bonus money and stakes levels can be configured easily.
They should, a guy came on here a few years back and lost 50k on a aspire Casino.
He was a bit weird but he was correct In stating ‘ why let you bet when it clearly breaks your own terms’ to me he had a point...
But the old T and C’s trump any common sense and he didn’t go about it the correct way, he has a video on YouTube with the actual call to karamba, he’s been campaigning years bless him

They found the turbo, auto spin and my beloved bonus buy buttons easily enough, took a bit longer to
find the reverse button though.

was playing netent's jungle spirit on virgin games last sunday, their version has removed the autoplay button but kept the max stake button, how ridiculous.

I was playing another game the other night on 40p (can't remember what is was  but a lesser known slot brand), however I nodded off slightly but was still pressing the mouse button in like a reflex, only it was the max bet button instead of spin  fortunately it didn't action the spin but just cycled through various stakes, I was on the £100 one when I fully opened my eyes and that soon woke me up

I still get these.
Mostly from sites ive not visited in months/years.

"Oh hey buddy, make sure you gamble responsibly when playing at our site, we have a bunch of cool tools to set limits and whatnot.
Just login and have a look, maybe a cheeky deposit or three, waddaya say?"

Thats not exactly what the e-mails say, but its what they mean. =)

It’s insulting tbh. We all know they don’t really care and just want our hard earned honey lol
